Two months on and I've heard this one on the radio more than any other ESC song on the radio in the UK. In fact I've only this and the Icelandic song tbh. The radio is adverse to playing anything not sung in English admittedly, so Italy, France and Ukraine delivered hits that don't make it, but I like that this is getting attention somewhere. It's just so catchy and upbeat!

About the voting....well....I'll say that Sweden, Norway and Moldova were overscored. Sweden's and Norway's televote were insane, 63 and 60 respectively, that's whopping high for songs that didn't even garner much social media buzz. You could smell the Nordic privilege. And Moldova, don't get me wrong, I bopped to Sugar, but 53 points from juries for a performance like that.....those juries were sleepy as eff or hooked to the song's official audio version (again, a bop) rather than judging the live performance. San Marino deserved at least 50 points from juries and another 50 from televotes.
