I honestly don't understand how this only got 47 points from the televoters... anyway, I am very happy that Destiny was top 3 with the juries and 7th overall.
I really don't get how she received only 47 points from the televote... She is only 18, and such a voice and such a charisma! She is one hell of a performer!
Everyone during the First Rehearsal: Ew what this looks so bad this staging is a big let down Everyone during the Second Rehearsal: Looks a bit better but still gonna flop like silver dress with pink shoes? Really? Everyone during the Semi final: OMG THIS IS SO GOOD Everyone during the Grand final: OMG EVEN BETTER YASS QUEEN Televote: Here's 47 points
Reasons for the poor televote result were probably: 1) Many uptempo dance-pop songs in this ESC, while there were only 2 hard rock songs - which did both extremely well - and also relatively few ballads 2) Performance order, deep in first half and just behind the Russian song which is also uptempo pop with hip hop/r&b influence 3) A little bit too "American", perhaps, although I personally don't have problems with that. Now, several weeks after the ESC this is one of the few songs I still keep listening to. So I feel it's a strong pop song, I even like the "collage" aspects in it - it seems like a mix of trends of the past 7 decades, with the sax "drop" being perhaps the weakest element.
I still don't understand how she could get only 47 from the public, she owns the stage. I am still watching the video three days after the show and I am sure I am not the only one. Destiny you won to me!
I guess the public wasn't in the mood for a generic pop anthem from a pseudo American diva this year. Hence the televote favouring the likes of Italy, France, Finland, Ukraine, etc.
It's the running order: for example, Belgium gave Malta 2 televote points in the final, whereas 12 points in the semi. It just shows that people forgot the song because of the bad running order. She was 2nd in the 1st semifinal in televoting.
Insisting in presenting american-like songs doesn't pay off in the long term and some people got it. Hence there's a counter-trend that is more rewarding towards those countries that take the risk singing in their language and more originale arrangement.

So don't come to me talking about "Eurovision representing the culture of their country!" because it isn't. If that was the case, Ukraine or France deserved the win.
@@efuii Italy chose Maneskin to represent them as one of their best rock bands, that they are proud about
@@plumedemouton2085 sooo, Malta chose Destiny because she's one of their best singers. They're proud of her :)
I honestly don't understand how this only got 47 points from the televoters... anyway, I am very happy that Destiny was top 3 with the juries and 7th overall.
It was a trash performance thats how

She is amazing!!! I can't believe this didn't win. The part from 2:14 till 2:36 is just... Wow!

that part is mindblowing!

She is one hell of a performer!
Lot of artist were good back that night! I call France, Iceland, Italy, Belgium and also some others so she did pretty well!
I love it when she goes "Excuse my French 💅"

My favorite song My number one!!!!!! Perfect performance !!! 12 pts from Turkey 🇹🇷
OMG!!! I'M SO HAPPY!!! This has to win. She sang so well, much better than in the semi. You can also tell she has much more energy.
Damn the voice, performance, song... Really catchy, I really like this one. Hello from Serbia!
You made us proud destiny such a queen 👑 🇲🇹
Destiny: I don't want your money!
Televoters: Fine, here is only 47 points then
lololol
The ads say otherwise XD
Malta deserves the win. They always take it so strict and send great entries!
Everyone during the First Rehearsal: Ew what this looks so bad this staging is a big let down
Everyone during the Second Rehearsal: Looks a bit better but still gonna flop like silver dress with pink shoes? Really?
Everyone during the Semi final: OMG THIS IS SO GOOD
Everyone during the Grand final: OMG EVEN BETTER YASS QUEEN
Televote: Here's 47 points
Omg no is so bad

Imagine the number of point if we were still thinking of the bad staging
Your name and profile pic IS SENDING ME
Reasons for the poor televote result were probably:
1) Many uptempo dance-pop songs in this ESC, while there were only 2 hard rock songs - which did both extremely well - and also relatively few ballads
2) Performance order, deep in first half and just behind the Russian song which is also uptempo pop with hip hop/r&b influence
3) A little bit too "American", perhaps, although I personally don't have problems with that.
Now, several weeks after the ESC this is one of the few songs I still keep listening to. So I feel it's a strong pop song, I even like the "collage" aspects in it - it seems like a mix of trends of the past 7 decades, with the sax "drop" being perhaps the weakest element.
I’m seriously obsessed with the backup dancers
The Moment You Realize She Won Junior Eurovision 2015
Here we have a WINNER !
I believe MALTA CAN MAKE A HISTORY ❤️🔥🇲🇹
She should have won! The best performance and song 💔💔💔
@@Fajnadziewczynacolubikoty It wasn't the best Imo, but she should have gotten more votes.
From Finland 🇫🇮
I still don't understand how she could get only 47 from the public, she owns the stage. I am still watching the video three days after the show and I am sure I am not the only one. Destiny you won to me!
Totally agree with u!! Probably the best eurovision song in years as "Euphoria" from Loren or "Believe" from Dima Bilan
@@marcon5175 you do realise that English is one of the two national languages of Malta
