    No Ronnie without Brian. Great guy. I love his gym as well. Crappy gyms are somehow the most motivational.

    Brian Dobson is the guy that is in almost all of Ronnie Coleman's videos. This would make sense since Ronnie did the majority of this training in Texas and Dobson is the guy who trained Ronnie in his earlier years for the Mr. Olympia competitions. Good guy.

    A lot of people don't realize it but Branch Warren is a very talented trombone player. A few times a week I'll walk over to branch and say Hey Branch play us something and he'll play a song he wrote. Brian Dobson usually ruins everything by bringing his banjo in and we keep trying to tell him you can't do dueling banjos with a banjo and a trombone.

    whats interesting, on the incline, he does not lower the bar to the clavicle like we read in the textbook, but to mid/lower chest, but hey who can argue with the results of branch???

    @xXFocusRecord Very true. There is no way a natural trainer could recover from a Branch style workout. I would like to know how many hours he puts in per week, probably a lot more than the 31/2 hours that Yates was training.

  • @eilrruughei
    @eilrruughei 14 років тому

    I saw the vid, Greene is doing four plates, same as Branch, for the same number of reps. His form is better but he is also getting a little help on every rep from his spotter. Impressive either way, but you had said he was doing five plates which sounded unrealistic.

  • @tahitiluva

    You can achieve levels close to what these guys are doing without steroids. It just takes a lot longer without steroids which makes you a lot more likely to give up out of frustration, so you really have to stick to it even if you plateau. Get creative with your workouts and pound protein and eventually you will get there.

  • @TheLKline
    @TheLKline 14 років тому

    @johngoo343 I think that perhaps you’re confused. The whole point of my comment is that he can train this way down to his superior pharmaceutically enhanced ability to recover. I’m not questioning his training methods in the context of a substance fuelled athlete; I’m rubbishing the generalised hardcore approach marketed by the Hillbilly initially narrating this video. With respect, my argument is completely relevant if you understand the originally context of my comment. Which you don't.

  • @SpartanLife1821

    everybody who lifts has thier own style to hype themselfs up. Some are quiet, some are more loud aka ronnie, branch dorian etc. Branch is hardcore and thats what has brought him near the top in the IFBB. And damn his traps are crazy big, but its possible for traps to get to big, i personally stoped direct trap training like johnie jackson because they can get TOO big and look odd.

  • @Shirotaka92

  • @TheLKline
    @TheLKline 14 років тому

    @johngoo343 This was never about whether he was smarter than me or I was smarter than him. So I’m not sure why you’ve found it necessary to make that comparison. However, it is impossible to “accept” something unless it can be proved. In this case, that simply isn’t possible. Of more relevance is whether I’m smarter than you, as the debate is between us. Correct? And based on the evidence at hand, you’re in no intellectual position to argue with me. Either accept it or live in denial :o)
