Years ago, my great grandpa was released from the hospital given months to live from pancreatic cancer. His urine was black. My Nana (his daughter) started giving him liquid aloe vera 3 x a day with meals. He still got his shot of Old Crow at happy hour! His urine got clear, and he lived another 5 years at the old age of 92. This plant is so amazing and so many uses!

Aloe Vera is an amazing plant. When I was a teenager I had burnt the whole side of my face. I was left with severe scarring. My mother was so shocked at my appearance she was getting ready to send me to the Dermatologist. Instead of going to the doctor, I decided to go to the Health Food store in my town. The owner of the store told me to rub aloe Vera gel on my face everyday, and she also instructed me to break open a vitamin E capsule every night and rub the vitamin E on my scars. Guess what happened? It took a couple of years of doing this regimen, and my face was totally healed of the horrible scarring that I had!!!! Amazing!!!!
I usually soak them for at least 30 minutes. I have been blending Aloe vera and mulberry and papaya and banana and honey. Pour it in a big jar and store in the fridge. This drink is so refreshing in the afternoon after long hours of working in my tiny forest.
I know someone with polycythemia vera, which is incurable, and often becomes blood cancer. He is at the stage where a little physical work puts him in so much pain that he can barely move the next day. He just told me today that after 4 days of eating about a 3 inch piece every morning, that his pain has gone from a 10 to about a 1 or 2. He is just thrilled!

I’ve had the stuff growing in my yard the whole time and only ever used it for sunburns but now I hope it’s going to help my overall health as well.
I have polycythemia and I came to the comments because I wanted to use it on my face so I wanted to know how to prepare it. So crazy I saw this comment, I hope we get an update soon.
Aloe, coconut, mango smoothies are a must try. I started drinking aloe 3years ago for inflammation associated with degenerative arthritis, after doing so for a few months, I had less pain and swelling but as well, my IBS symptoms were gone and heartburn and acid reflux became a thing of the past. Drinking aloe for my health was the best advice ever.
I live in NE Florida. I was thrilled that there were 2 huge Aloe beds in our yard when we bought our home. I add Aloe to my morning smoothie every day. It’s a fabulous plant to own and enjoy.❤️
To remove the yellow sap under the leaves, just wrap up the cut base of the aloe vera leaves and leave them in the fridge for a day or two.... Then just use a peeler to peel off one side of the leave and use a metal spoon to scoop out the gel 😸
I bought a tiny little aloe plant and transplanted it to a very wide pot immediately. It has only been about four months and this thing has quadrupled in size! Glory be to GOD. I used a mix of little pebbles, organic dirt and some cheap dirt loaded with sand. I also put some bigger river pebbles in the bottom of the pot for drainage and it is loving it!
Thanks John. Was scared of the bitterness until I watched your video, now I use aloe almost every day. It helped cure my brother's hepatitis in Cuba years back.
As usual, John's waaaay ahead of the pack. A real visionary, not a mindless follower or narcissistic 'guru'. Smart as a whip. Inspiring. Thorough. Humble. Generous. Spirited. Principled. Fun. Naturally himself. Sharing knowledge, not selling himself. The genuine article. This man uses his brain to the MAX. And keeps it real. Thanks for the terrific hands-on info, John. And big thanks to Dr. Haley, too. Gonna grow me some Barbadensis-Miller-Stockton aloe!
This is just so awesome, i also did mine which I call it aloe-fruit juice . Mixed with one banana, one mango and half lemon together with two Aloe Vera leaves. It tastes yummmmmmmy.
A vegetable peeler also works for me the first time I purchased a leaf. I used the left over green skin in my blender with clean water to add to my foot soak water.
Keepskatin, If you watched that whole video and tried it the way he suggested (after rinsing) you will find it is NOT bitter. I just prepared my own ALOE following his method and there is NO bitterness!
I don't know if you know about this but I have advice to add something to your garden and put a bunch of it into smoothies every day or every other day. It is called Rhodiola Rosea the plant was involved in studies on animals and worms that extended the life span of animals, worms, and insects. It gives your cells energy allowing them to work more efficiently, when that happens you age slower and your body repairs itself faster. I have been trying to do research on what kinds of things would allow my body to repair itself faster than damage is being caused by free radicals and aloe vera, and rhodiola rosea are two of the things I am making a juice where it has the aloe vera gel, Rose water, Rhodiola Rosea, and Celery and oranges. experiment with how much you want to put to make it taste good to you :) add a sweetner if you want but no processed sugar
Thank you for sharing this and now i finally have another way to consume my aloe vera. I received it from my nice neighbor when i move in to a new house and the aloe vera has been growing crazy in the pot since then. I have transplanted them to my front yard and they are still happily growing...i am sorry for the comments about your nails and bandage that have garden mud. I really do not think those guys should be commenting down here cuz that bandage or dirty nails are from your real hard work in the garden. I wish more people would care more about what they eat and less about how they look. Good job and thank you again!
I heard and saw the part about letting the yellow stuff bleed in the first soak. The wide end was pointed downward which probably constricted the migration of the yellow bitters, and caused some retention until the second container soaking. The smaller end should be pointed downward in the initial soaking to expedite removal of the yellow bitters. Also, more natural components like proteins and enzymes are destroyed by energy heat and momentum of high speed blades, especially once individual cell cytoplasms are released by the shearing of the cells. Slow speed juicing is less destructive. Think in terms of the free juicer you were born with-teeth. I bet you could eat those strips just like jello, too. Just some food for thought after years of experience as a Chemist, now with a serious interest in natural approach to healthy living and eating.
Prof G you talk like how we lived in deep rural NZ (post WW2 to 60's). No electricity etc. When we're home - much is still as it was but with satelite powered electronics to communicate - & we love it, even my gg/kids. It was nice reading your contribution. Blessings!
Wow...never though that the high speed blade will kill some of the nutrients too!? I’ll eat them in small cubes then...Thank you!🙏. I’m all about natural way of life too. I’ve been cooking rice in claypot instead of toxic rice cooker! As an Indonesian, we do lot of pounding with stone pestle when cooking. Taste a lot better than blend them in high speed blender. That explains why...!
This really affirms what I had been thinking for a while! I've been blending instead of jucing to get the fiber but I sensed somehow that blending may disrupt the good stuff in the plant
I'm from Indian and I believe the same theory of Dr. Mike and I've eaten it with honey and lemon. But I never thought about removing the yellow stuff. Thanks for the info.
So glad to find this ! My Mom is 85 and eats aloe for her colitis and gastro problems . I have several plants need to know what is the ideal growing environment. Mine are struggling here in Roseville, CA
I'm from Trinidad, and my grandmother use to blend the Aloe gel (not taking out the slime) with molasses and give us to drink bi-weekly on Saturday until we go (removal of our bowels), then she would wait six months until she does the same thing again. She never took out the slime because according to her the slime was needed to help us go (which makes sense to me because it work) and it was good because I still practice this with my family today and I get know complaints. However; one should not consume this to often and people with health issues and are on medications should not drink this with out consulting there doctors first, because Aloe contains a substance called anthraquinone which is a laxative and may cause adverse interactions with prescription and over-the-counter medications.
I am from central africa and my parents gave us the drink once a week with gel+skin. They just cut it to piece and let it in water for an hour. It is really bitter but efficient and we are still alive.
Thank you- I told my sister to get it & to drink it because she has problem with her going!! But she takes medicines which probably the problem. So maybe I should find out how much she is taking.
M Donawa Thanks for your comment. You comment is the first one that suggested that persons with medical conditions should consult their doctors before taking aloe to avoid contradictions with their meds. My wife had cancer and although several of UA-cam videos and articles on the internet discuss aloe's benefits against cancer, aloe isn't necessarily a sure benefit to everyone. This doctor says he's a chiropractor not internal med physician. Neither of them recommended to the viewers to consult with a personal physician first. They were too focused on selling a aloe product. The point of this video is that if you're in reasonably good health this aloe has some health benefits. I enjoyed his video and appreciate the information he shared.
thank you for the video..we use aloe here in the Caribbean all the time. You are about the only person who i have seen do this correctly by soaking it first. Great video...It is bitter yes.. I usually cut it up into tiny bits and swallow it ...it great for just about everything LOL
A lady ran up to my home. Almost broke my door down. Panicking and in shock. The neighbours Jack Russel dog has bitten her and I quickly made her sit down so that I could attend to the wound. The flesh was ripped open . Fat came out of her arm. I started of by cleaning it with Myrrh tincture. Went outside to cut an Aloe Vera leaf. Placed the white flesh of the gel inside the wound. Bandaged it up. Later that evening. As this happened in the morning, I took the bandage off. The wound sucked all the aloe Vera up. Renewed with a new piece of Aloe Vera gel, she was relieved from severe pain and after a couple of days the wound was clearly healing up This is an amazing plant and I want to grow much more plants of Aloe Vera in my garden.
Real men who work with soil, dirt and mud have my admiration. It's hard to wash your nails completely if you are tending your garden several times a day. Awesome video!
John thank you for all the life giving input. I love all your shows. You relay have inspired me to do more, of building back the land. You have inspired me !!

honestly people!! Stop already complaining about his hands! Be grateful and stop judging someone who is making sush an effort in helping you! I think he is great and for me his hands could even be more dirty, who cares?!
Thank you guys! I purchased a single Aloe Vera leaf the other day. It is about 2 feet long. I have used Aloe Vera topically before, but suddenly developed an interest in consuming the produce. Wasn't sure how, to prepare it, so I "UA-camd" it. Your VID was the one I chose to view, and you guys NAILED IT!!!! Not only do I NOW know how to prepare it, but I also, NOW know EXACTLY why I wanted to drink it. I learned EXACTLY what the benefits are. THANKS GUYS!!!!
This is so useful!! So many videos just showed peeling the aloe and sticking it (yellow stuff and all) right into the blender. SOO BITTER!!! I appreciate you showing how to do it right. I also have a latex allergy so need to avoid that yellow stuff.
if you bow the cake knife up slightly when raking the gel you will get a tighter closer cut and get more gel. its the same principle as cleaning a fish, you bow the knife up to get a close cut
I used aloe vera for my face as a moisturizer, I bathed it in my face then I wash it. It's effective my face kinda younger and soft. Thank you God for this plant 😊
Nice video. whether or not you used the yellow slime all depends on what you are using it for. If you are going to do a detox.but if you'll want to keep the yellow slime. just note that it is what makes it bitter. If you use it for daily consumption then i would say just follow the soaking method above and this takes away the bitter taste too. Aloe can be used for all sorts of things but always do your homework when trying something new!
John, Vietnamese Town in Southern California has lots of places that sell fresh squeezed sugar cane juice. They also added fresh kumkwat through the juicer along with sugar canes. A hint of kumkwat flavor and fragrance make the sugar cane juice 100 times better.
Thank You so much for this preparation tutorial. I'm soaking it right now...and for the first time ever. It has "kicked my gutt" on a few occasions and I never knew why or how to prevent it. I tried the store bought, citric acid laden, watery stuff and was sure it had no real benefits. I APPRECIATE YOU FOR SHARING%%%
Man, I just blended up the juice and meat from a whole young Thai coconut with an aloe vera leaf that had been cleansed in the same way shown here... it was awesome! Super easy and quick. Thanks for sharing!
I actually don't mind a bit of the sap, or even the outer skin with my aloe juice. I like to blend it with (peeled) citrus fruit (slightly sweetened with either stevia, honey or a chickory based prebiotic sweetener, such as Just Like Sugar, plus water and/or ice. The aloe juice makes the Vitamin B & C more bioavailable. I also have hundreds of organic aloe plants in South Florida.
My ancestors knew about savila before westerners came. Nice to see the knowledge had spread worldwide, and same for other countries that have spread their knowledge of natural plants.
I descovered using aloe vera, because of my co-worker has a really gloowing skin! I try and i love it so much!its a big different in evey way of my skin now than before! And i starting drinking also now! Thanks aloe vera❗️😊🥰🙏
I’ve been having some success with abrasions using liquid echinacea, also immensely effective on mouth ulcers and it’s great for abating cold n flu symptoms
Biblically, dirt is not that big issue when it comes to eating with your unwashed hands/unclean hand. It is not important what comes-in thru our mouth but what will comes out from it --coz out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks! Oftentimes, we only see those visible dirt in others, we failed to see and appreciate the beauty that lies within the heart of the person. Our eye-gates make us judge our fellowmen without the second thought of exposing the real stubborn and filthy person in us. The corrupted minds of our hearts often expose us in broad daylight many times over but we unconsciously noticed it so we just ignore to change our character. Unless someone touched by The Almighty God to rebuke that person for his own betterment. And of course, transformation to a new you thus not come easy especially if you only rely on your own ability/capacity. You need to have The Supernatural Person to fully equipt and empower you to go against the cause of the tyranny of deception-who is the devil Satan--the father of all lies and the root cause of all the problems and entanglements in our world since time immemorial! You need to repent of your sin and surrender your life to the Lordship of Jesus Christ and accept Him in your heart as your Lord GOD and only Savior of your soul. You have to be very serious in your relationship with Jesus as The Author and Finisher of your Faith. Read His Words/The Holy Bible and meditate therein day and night so that you may be careful to do everything that is written therein. Then you will be prosperous and successful.(Joshua 1:8-9) REMEMBER these MY FRIEND: (1)Heaven and Earth will pass away but my Words will remain forever.(Matthew 24:35) (2)The Word of GOD is the lamp for my feet and a light to my path.(Psalm 119:105) (3)...if there is any virtue and there is any praise think about these things(Phil.4:8) THANK YOU and SHALOM TO ALL!
Winston Boston God bless you and thank you so very much for your message.😇👏👏👏✝️💜🙏👍I know that you posted this 2 years ago however the message is eternal 👍 Jesus Christ has already won this spiritual battle and He is coming back for His precious children 😇 MARANATHA LORD JESUS ✝️💜😇👍
aloe is amazing. i remember i cut my finger w/ a gilette razor and i put some aloe on it and immediately it closed up as if i had stitches! i couldnt believe it cuz i thought i would actually need stitches but i didnt. it just healed up completely in days, and it actually looks like i had stitches lol
I was in Thailand a month ago & I had my facial they used a fresh aloe Vera & put it in my face it stayed in my face for about an hour and after my facial my face feels so smooth .
My Mother always had an aloe plant. One day I was sitting at dinner in a tube top and shorts and scalding gravy got spilled down the front of me. Mom rinsed me with cold water, patted skin dry and applied some aloe from her plant on it. It was amazing that I did not blister or anything.
Thanks so much for this video. I appreciate very much the fact that you want to teach us the proper way to prepare the aloe for consumption. I definitely do not want the “ RUNS!!!!!”
Aloe is a great plant to have around...the gel is the only topical treatment we use for sunburns and insect bites. It's also good for healthy digestion. Thanks for sharing John!
I live in a dirty city. I've actually nicknamed the dirt here--The Invisible Man. I'll use Ivory Soap--for heavy cleansing..(double soap up). It affects my skin. I also use bottles of rubbing alcohol. (medicinal alcohol 70-%) (I'll use it just like a shower.) Because the Tap Water sometimes scares me. The aloe vera liguid soap is a good cleanser and it leaves a smooth surface. (skin) Plus, I need to use lotions and baby oil w/Vit. E to combat just the dry skin I get from washing.
I got my aloe plants last week, John. Your video was soo helpful. While waiting for my aloe to grow, I went to my local oriental grocery store and bought a large aloe leaf and a couple of mangos. Made a great soothing drink that I sipped on for several days making a happy tummy thanks to you.
When I was growing up my grandmother used to just cut pieces of Aloe put it in water and let us drink the water for period pain I never had acne my whole life and of course the taste is horrible but I don’t think it’s true that we shouldn’t drink the bitter components I think that’s where the healing secrets are
I use Aloe Vera Every morning- I cut 4 cm sledges And Than it is easy to separate the good And the bad stuff. I take the filet in my hand And “wash” it . Than I put it in my blender for my breakfast smoothie.
It’s the fact that he didn’t wash his hands before he prepared his food. Just knowing his dirty nails were all over the slimy aloe and now festering in his immunity drink is disgusting. Regardless of your profession or hobbies, you should always wash your hands...especially before preparing food, maybe change the dirty bandaid too.
John, you are the man! We need clone you for the good of human kind. You have inspire my life for the last 10 years, when I saw your videos for the 1st time... "how to brew compost tea". Long life and prosperity!
Thanks for the info. I made the gel while watching. Recently I accidentally cut the top of my finger of. Put it back on, used the gel of my aloe vera plant and it healed back on. :)
Thanks for showing how to soak it. Having 2 water pitchers is definitely practical. I've watched a few videos and yours is the best! Sugar cane juice is super yummy! Natural and healthy! I've added some ginger and honey into my Aloe juice.
As a child growing up in Trinidad I got stuck with a rusty nail in my feet, my mom took me and put the Alo on my feet and it took care of that cut on my feet it drew the information out.
People who have dirty fingernails by working in the soil God has given us, are more healthy than those who think they have to be so clean as not to enjoy God's earth!
Wow! We grow aloe vera! I am not sure if it's the Miller type but I think it is. We have been growing two gigantic ones for years. They look horrible because they are just like giant weeds. My parents wanted to get rid of them. But oh my god! How come we have never known that they were sooooo beneficial! My family has a history of Diabeties, and I have a really weak immune system. Thank goodness!! Thank goodness I came across this video. Thank you for making this video. I am going to harvest them, if I can TO-MO-ROW!
One of the best videos I've seen on this subject. (Though I didn't appreciate the infomercial second half) I didn't even notice or care about his fingers or band-aid. Most say it's best to soak it for 10 minutes after trimming the skin off. They also suggest cutting off a base (the yellow part unless you want a laxative). It does seem like most will need to mix it with something else, but not THAT MUCH sugar. ;) I gave Aloe babies to 2 friends, and they said theirs was dying. They watered it once every 3 weeks. Mine is huge and growing like crazy. I water mine about a cup of water 3 times a week. Mine is also in partial shade/Indirect sun/sun. Also many say you want to use leaves that bend outward from the top, not have a dip on the top side. That are a little squishy. The ones that have the groove on the top more more bitter than the leaves that don't. Those can still be used for topical solutions, but not as tasty to consume.
Thanks for the video, will buy myself a plant and start growing it. But I dont get people about fingernails and bandait. Who cares, if he works organic soil, it will not harm you if you eat some.
Thank you for the double soak instructions. Took almost all the bitter out! 😊 I tried the draining method but it was very bitter in my mango pineapple smoothie! 😝
John, I truly appreciate the knowledge you share and I'm inspired by most videos you post. However, being that I have lots of aloe, and that you used the words" ooey gooey" this time, this could be my favorite ;) thank you for your focused energy.
Too many steps. I've been using aloe from a child. My mom would pick, cut and give to us. They even preserve the aloe and soak it for drinking by spoonful. I'm 70 years old today so I've been using it for a while. Good for the skin and hair too. I wish everyone who uses it good health.
I started growing aloe plants because of a story like the doctor told. It was in a pot outside on my porch and basically negected and ignored for at least 6months, probably much longer. Well I decided to break it apart and plant the pups, replant the ma, and water them. Wow! They keep having babies, I run out of pots, started putting them in the ground. So now I need to start utilizing them more than cutting a leaf here and there to rub on my skin.
Omg i am 13 yaers old and I am from Germany. I just wanted to say that I am a big fan of the Aloe Vera barbadensis miller plant. And I love this Video thanks for the informations.😁
agirlnamedChuck The internet is so sad. People say things that could be helpful to so many others but nto enough, Then people ask and they never come back to answer questions to help others. So sad. Not blaming MineAllMine, but the internet can be so cruel in that way.
Thanks for the reply. It's so interesting to hear peoples success stories. Since I posted this however, my sister (and her daughter, for support) went on the paleo diet. It has changed her life! She has improved so much and has seen similar improvements in her heath. She suddenly has the strength to do things with her family again. It's been a miracle to watch.
Thank you very much John a month ago started to cut it in pieces and soak it in water and drink also to rub it on my face its wonderful you saved me from doing some research by some luck your video just popup am now happy
The one thing I may recommend would be using a knife instead of a cake spreader, which would allow you to get closer to the green skin and get a lot more gel at once.
I have an auto immune disease, Hashimoto's. I suffer with acid reflux and other stomach issues. My question is how much should you consume on a daily? Thanks for sharing! Great video!
This is perfect where I am India... Sugarcane is common, not right now in the monsoons, but summer hooaah! And I have tons of aloe vera growing in my garden that I've never done anything with. Thank you.
The bitter stuff is not too bad though. a drop in some lemonade taste fine and gives a good colon cleanse. I have been told by an authority on herbs that it helps the liver too.
When you are trinidadian. You grow up with your grandmother giving you a blend of charcoal and aloe every month ..our skin and hair is always strong...I never knew what was puberty acne....great video
Since I watched this video, I started to prepare aloe Vera juice at least once a week. Thanks a million for your precious content. What a day, truly a life saving. All the while I don't know how to prepare an aloe Vera juice. Aware of its yellow stuff😅.

Christy- You are so very welcome Christy, if I’ve been of help you’ve made my day!! 😊
Imma try it with all my body scarring' thanks❤

Wow, blend papaya...? Yikes..i like them eat just by itself. But i want to try your recipe but without papaya. 👍🙏

Wow my dad has dealt with polycythemia for several years. I’ll get him started on aloe asap!
I use the yellow sap on bruises and wounds and it heals them perfectly. It also works as an antiwrinkle. You feel the difference instantly!

Aloe Vera tightens your skin and gives it a glow once you start using it regularly.

Hi can I ask when would be the best time to take this from your experience? Can we take in empty stomach before breakfast? Or after meal?
When you mentioned coconut,by that, you mean the coconut water, right?!

I live in NE Florida. I was thrilled that there were 2 huge Aloe beds in our yard when we bought our home. I add Aloe to my morning smoothie every day. It’s a fabulous plant to own and enjoy.❤️
I am jealous of you. Thankfully I just bought one this year in March and it’s already growing pretty well but indoor.
To remove the yellow sap under the leaves, just wrap up the cut base of the aloe vera leaves and leave them in the fridge for a day or two.... Then just use a peeler to peel off one side of the leave and use a metal spoon to scoop out the gel 😸

A vegetable peeler also works for me the first time I purchased a leaf. I used the left over green skin in my blender with clean water to add to my foot soak water.
That was a very good idea using up the skin . Waste not want not .👍🏽😁
Ty fir skin tip
Keepskatin, If you watched that whole video and tried it the way he suggested (after rinsing) you will find it is NOT bitter. I just prepared my own ALOE following his method and there is NO bitterness!
I use Aloe immediately after harvesting, making sure the gel is clear and no residue.
Brenda Vania Oh wow, cuz last time I had Aloe Vera it was bitter 🤕
Wow that's awesome..will try it this way
But when you clean to much you loose lot of vitamins
Can I keep in the fridge n how long the keeping time..
My brother-in-law used to grow rodiola rosea for a co-op in Alberta. Like aloe vera, it is an amazing herbal plant.

May I know which part of Rhodiola Rosea plant best to consume? Thanks again ❤

Aloe grows well in Florida

So far one of the better videos on drinkable aloe Vera, easy to understand and no long intro that’s half the video.
Wow thanks for that info. Ill be inserting it with the small end first from now on...
Prof G you talk like how we lived in deep rural NZ (post WW2 to 60's). No electricity etc. When we're home - much is still as it was but with satelite powered electronics to communicate - & we love it, even my gg/kids.
It was nice reading your contribution. Blessings!
Hello, can I use the small leaf as 3-4 cm length for salad? They are not toxic?
Am from Srilanka a warm country. I do have lots of Alovera plants in my garden. Thanks for the valuable advice.
I used aloe, to cure both of my ulcers. I was lied to by the doctor. He wanted to operate. I month of drinking aloe, and my ulsers were gone.
How often did you drink? And what diet plan were you on during the process?
Yessss!!!!
Wow I need to try
They told me thst i had goitre when my neck swell. I had Gerd. Aloe juice healed it in weeks
DOCTORS LIE........

Renewed with a new piece of Aloe Vera gel, she was relieved from severe pain and after a couple of days the wound was clearly healing up
This is an amazing plant and I want to grow much more plants of Aloe Vera in my garden.
she knocked on the right door :)
Real men who work with soil, dirt and mud have my admiration. It's hard to wash your nails completely if you are tending your garden several times a day. Awesome video!

I love the enthusiasm and the passion you both have on this video. Your willingness to share your knowledge it’s highly appreciated 🙏
I'm going to be try it's it.
I never had it before thank you for this information.
This is the best aloe vera video that I've seen so far thank you so much
Agreed. And the extra info in the comments is helpful as well.
I was so itchy and having allergies because of mosquito bites I rap aloe Vera and it’s like magic thank you
I used aloe vera for my face as a moisturizer, I bathed it in my face then I wash it. It's effective my face kinda younger and soft. Thank you God for this plant 😊
Glad to see a UA-camr consume their advice.👍
Nice video. whether or not you used the yellow slime all depends on what you are using it for.

I blend the whole thing even if some little pieces of green end up in my blender. That yellow stuff has never harmed me.
I guess to some people is allergic
Its bitter aswell, blegh
It's not really harmful, it's a laxative
Aloin, which is the yellow stuff is the good part of the plant.

Then you will be prosperous and successful.(Joshua 1:8-9)
REMEMBER these MY FRIEND:
(1)Heaven and Earth will pass away but my Words will remain forever.(Matthew 24:35)
(2)The Word of GOD is the lamp for my feet and a light to my path.(Psalm 119:105)
(3)...if there is any virtue and there is any praise think about these things(Phil.4:8)
THANK YOU and SHALOM TO ALL!

My Mother always had an aloe plant. One day I was sitting at dinner in a tube top and shorts and scalding gravy got spilled down the front of me. Mom rinsed me with cold water, patted skin dry and applied some aloe from her plant on it. It was amazing that I did not blister or anything.

It’s the fact that he didn’t wash his hands before he prepared his food. Just knowing his dirty nails were all over the slimy aloe and now festering in his immunity drink is disgusting. I really enjoyed this, very detailed answering all questions and the passion you two have for aloe vera!!!!! Just subscribed!!
(Though I didn't appreciate the infomercial second half)
I didn't even notice or care about his fingers or band-aid.
This video is very entertaining and this guy looks like he's having fun. Props to him
When you put it in water, your are preventing the yellow ooze from completing its cycle. Just hold or lay at 45 degrees. '
Thanks for the video, will buy myself a plant and start growing it. But I dont get people about fingernails and bandait. Who cares, if he works organic soil, it will not harm you if you eat some.
Thank you for the double soak instructions. Took almost all the bitter out! 😊
I tried the draining method but it was very bitter in my mango pineapple smoothie! 😝
Was taught to always soak 20-30mins first. The water usually much darker yellow. Then rinse again once you fully peel leaves.

How do you consume aloe vera? Are you cooking it first or raw? Do you take it oral or apply to skin? Thank you
This was very helpful John, an awesome episode and very informative! Thank You for doing this one.

The one thing I may recommend would be using a knife instead of a cake spreader, which would allow you to get closer to the green skin and get a lot more gel at once.
