Love how Sandee ended up laying behind you and then Jake coming up for attention! And, you all are providing great information about the park, for those with or without pups! Thank you!

    Thank you for sharing :)
Looking to explore our National Parks this next year with our toddler and dog on a few trips. …traveling without our dog is a non-negotiable but National Parks seem challenging to do that so, thank you :)

There are a bunch of them that I think are really dog friendly. Yosemite, Grand Canyon, Zion I would recommend highly. Lots of paths to explore. I think Yosemite is our favorite thoiugh. Most of the major sites you can explore with your pooches. Check out that video for sure!!

Darrell, If you have time as you leave Yellowstone after your four day stay leave the Park via the south exit and you pretty much instantly end up in Grand Tetons National Park. Great Mountain Views and you will also get to see Jackson Hole WY. The drive from Yellowstone back to Idaho Falls is just about the same either way and If you have never seen the Grand Tetons they are worth the time. Have fun and Drive that great RAV4 Prime safely. I talked with the Truck driver today he is guessing Monday Morning Delivery of My Supersonic Red RAV4 Prime. Thanks again for all your helpful tips as I was getting nowhere fast before your video of How to Get a RAV4 Prime at MSRP. Thanks AGAIN!!!

Thanks so much Bret. We are back home. We we're exhausted from so much driving at Yellowstone.. we just couldn't make the effort to take some extra time driving home. We would have really had to break up the drive home over 2 days, and we just wanted to get back. Did you get your prime Yesterday??

@@GoldenK9Campers Darrell , Glad you made it home safely. I actually got my Supersonic Beauty on Sunday night. American Auto Shipping hired a fantastic driver and even after picking up a day late he still was able to get it here a day early. Team driver made the trip really fast. I'm so impressed it makes my Volt seem noisy and I did not think that was possible.
It rides a lot better than the regular Hybrid that I drove over a year ago as the 18.1 KWH battery really keeps it glued to the road. Once again I give your genius on this topic with my now driving a RAV4 Prime!!!! Thanks so much Darrell !!!

Sounds like a well planned and doable trip bringing the pups. Instead of bringing books (takes up space you might need) have you considered downloading music playlists and/or podcasts on your phones to listen to while being the "dogsitter"? Might be nice to have a lot downloaded for any time during the trip to listen to (while driving, while at camp, while being the "hiker", etc..). And, mapping... I'm sure you are aware how to use Google Maps offline feature. Download all of Yellowstone Park in Google Maps for offline use while at home, then it will be available, even with navigation features, while offline in the Park (I use it on my iphone and it works great while off-roading out of cell range). I think you have everything figured out for a fantastic trip! Now, go and enjoy, and I can't wait to see what fun you both had! Cheers! Pete - KI7LIL

Hey Pete.. that's a great idea with Google Maps offline. Didn't know about that. We got around just fine though. It worked really well with the dogs. We had a great time. When I was in the car.. I actually did little writeup's on the location so I wouldn't forget. The weather was great.. was actually really hot.. but it cooled down at night. We we're exhausted though.. and it was a long drive home. Glad to be back!! Now to get searching for my Aliner again.. How's the working out going. I did pusuhp's while at yellowstone. but I took the week off of pullups..

@@GoldenK9Campers All sounds good and glad you had a great time! Workouts are good... a little lagging last week because of our intense heat (112-115 degrees all week) but this week is much better with the cooler temps (low 100's). I've increased hydration, substituted nuts (walnuts, almonds, pecans) for snacks instead of chips or crackers (to reduce carbs), and I'm happy with the level of "comfortable soreness" the next day after each workout. Looking forward to your Aliner shopping, too. Lots going on!
