This band is so underrated...
no...
it's always rated pretty well...
What it is is underlistened to.
@@Atreju120 yea idk i made this comment 4 years ago
@@molotochek_music so much stuff has been underrated since. Everything that ever happened is now underrated.
This is unbelievable! Portland 420 Oregon! Shine on!💟✌️
Everything that ever happened is underrated hey
Wow... This band sounds just like Lucid Planet
this had to spoken out !
This is awesome! It's obvious why this gets a lot of comparisons to Tool, but I don't get why people make that sound like a bad thing. Tool should have their own genre a la Meshuggah and djent.
The world needs more like this and these guys do a hell of a job bringing it to the table.
To me Tool = Mind Body Spirit metal/Rock
@@MrZZsharka I just call it spirit metal
This man understands!
Existential metal?
This is in some ways better than Tool as well. The use of Indian instruments like Sitar, Tabla , etc. I recently discovered this band while on some h*sh. I was sold ❤❤❤❤❤
I theorize that the thumb downs were a direct result of an epileptic fit. There's no way anyone poked them on purpose.
I miss the thumb down
Amazing song. I tripped balls on mushrooms the other night and this song blew my mind apart.
You guys are the future! I'm a 20 years old guy who's probably haven't left a tool song unheard (and a lot of other bands) but tool is my fave and I was starting to feel worried because well... Tool's getting old and they'll stop at some point in the near future
Lucid planet is the new hope! I will let everyone know bout you guys, I'll buy the albums to give as much support possible
Please come to the Netherlands!
Tools music is infinite and timeless there probably will never be a band that will deem tool obsolete
Nothing will ever make any art obsolete. However, in the near future, it’s not unfathomable to say a band may surpass their musicianship. Tool isn’t the only music group that will be able to reach into the void. Where do you think the purpose to convey art originated my friend?
Mark Meri
LOL
I wish... But, in 5 years they have not released anything new.. Not sure they will fill that Tool "void"... But try Rishloo; they are fucking awesome.. Or Karnivool or Soen.. All decent Tool-influenced bands, and pretty recent
@@Metallnsanity87 New album coming out this august dude. Plus, keep in mind that no one helps these guys, they write, compose, record, master, polish all of their tracks on their own. All the shit that normally takes a fucking team is being carried out by 4 people. Even the costs, they pay for everything sooo... take it easy on them
why am i just finding this in 2020
There’s more than just the tool influence in there. I can hear Karnivool and NIN influences in their stuff as well. Great band 👍
Submerged, now ready
To wash away this mask
Submerged, and crawling
Away from everything that has passed
I will follow you
Guided by whatever you may bring
Listen to your slightest breath
Keep me warm and let me heal
Don't leave me hanging broken
On the edge
Call me to you
From where I'm meant to be
Lead me to your side
Far beyond the way
Far beyond the way, never knowing how far
The way to break, escape
Don't know where you are
But I feel you leading me
Throughout this sanctuary
Are those who seek to take
And let it burn
Thank you
Thanks man
@@quintero363 does anyone get the last 2 lines of the song...?
wow, this sounds just like Rishloo! i love Rishloo!
The same vocalist? Sounds just like Andrew
How do you guys not have more attention, Your band is amazing!
Big deal they're compared to Tool. I love Tool but at least these guys are making new music. Really makes me want to hear new Tool even more.
I'm new to this band and like you I love tool plus I like these guys too :)
& now we have this & new Tool :)
@Jenny 46_2 and now we have this, new tool, and new Puscifer. Soooo wonderful! The world needs beautiful music
This song is really something incredible, it opens in a fantastic way and then evolves in an equally fantastic way, what a wonderful piece!!!!
anyone else in a lucid meditation?
That's what I use this band for!!
And this guys is why I am going to get the vinyl releases that we spoke about on Twitter. This absolute gem of a song deserved to be heard in the very, very highest possible quality. I only discovered you guys a few weeks ago but have had Lucid Planet I and Lucid Planet II on repeat since. Keep up the good work guys, you deserve the praise and respect you get.
Great to have you on board Sy, thank you for being here. Can’t wait to have vinyls available. Will keep everyone updated 🤟❤️
Krása krásna. Pozdravujem chlapov v Austrálii zo Slovenska.
Připojuji se a zdravim z české republiky, diky bohu za to ze jsem mel cest je poznat...👋🤪
its wonderful to find a new psychedelic rock band as good as these guys
This even sounds good through shitty headphones. That production value is top notch!
this is just as good as tool but this time they are on spotify
Eric Eckhout Tool is on another level just due to experience.. in a few more albums, Lucid Planet can definitely be thier equal.
NO WAY
Check again bruv
I'm guessing if you were a manager at Hooters you'd hire the flat chested girl. Come on man. These guys don't have a leg to stand on when it comes to TOOL!!
DAMN ! Is this great ! EXCLLENT , SUPERB , FANTASTIC ,WONDERFUL , REFRESHING , WICKED BAS ASS MUSIC ! LOVE IT
I did what the title told me to 🙏🔥
I've never been so emotional listening to a song thank you so mutch!
7:05 the graphics go HARD AF
Wuoooo !!
This is incredible. I love interesting musicianship and this is such clear audio. Love it!
You are awesome guys!!
I hope you realese your new album soon!!
A good band can make 8min fly by
Man have these guys played live yet
They are on tour now!
Holy shit, I'm so happy I found this band
Im gratefull to have a chance to discover that. Pure pleasure for me.
Just discovered you guys, EXCELLENT WORK ! Love the band, the concept and the specially...the music.
Greetings from Perú !
+Gianmarco Lu LOL estaba apunto de comentar lo mismo
Genial saber que mas gente escucha esta banda en Perú.
M TRIPPING WITH YOUR MUSIC....♥
2:30 if Lemmiwinks dropped acid before climbing up into Mr Weed, this is what his POV probably would have been. I mean that in a good way, of course.
Listened to this song while tripping on acid, and to compare my experience to listening to Tool on it, this song most definitely brought better vibes, love both bands and I can’t wait to see the new album and what these guys do with it :)
Thank you! Great to hear. The new album will be ten times what this album was, and is only months away ❤
Lucid Planet I’m so very excited, I’m guessing it’s coming this Fall?
@@LucidPlanetBand Can't wait!
2:25 wow how they did that amazing visualisation?
What an experience. Such a journey.
Underrated prog! Wow!
Holy fuck this is amazing
Bought the album as soon as I heard this song.
I was going to post a comment about this song reminding me Tool, but everyone is already doing it !
Hey! I recognize those visuals! Nice!
I need more of this...
INSANEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Wonder if they'll ever remake these into instrumentals or with the new vocals from Lucid Planet II
The part where the drums make that starting beat reminds me of "Arcarsenal" by At The Drive In.
This is a masterpiece, to all the genres it incapsulates
THIS IS FUCKING AWESOME
Nifty
Love this band !
Sounds like the beginning part of Bear McCreary's version of All Along The Watchtower for Battlestar Galactica. I like it.
I don't understand why people compares you guys to Tool, your music has nothing to do with theirs, you guys are above what Tool has done, your songs are amazing, clean vocals, clean instrumental, amazing band and amazing sound, keep your work up!
Augusto Vitor Above Tool? That's a ridiculous statement. I am as glad to have this as the next guy but the vocals are not that great. His high pitch is off. They are okay while the rest of the instrumentals are very very good but this is not better than Tool. Not even close.
machineunit I'm talking about that spiritual/meditational thing Tool tried to put through Lateralus, of course this is just my point of view, but I see LP being that band that fits perfectly to its purpose, such as Metallica to Trash Metal, Korn to Nu Metal, Motorhead to Heavy Metal, and so on.
So basically Tool has an idea of bringing an element to their sound, now this band - which explores directly this same element - has done something familiar, but the outcome was much more (for me) effective than Tool's. Why?:
1 - Parabol/a = Grey Feet
2 - Reflection = Listen
3 - The Grudge = Requiem
4 - Schism = Kairos
5 - Lateralus = Apparatus
These are the equivalents I see, and you can't deny they have a much heavier stoned (so to say) feeling than Tool's alt-metal
As you would expect, most people have different tastes in music. If one chooses to hold a band higher than another, who are you to tell them they are wrong.
Although I respect your opinion I have to respectfully disagree. I need to hear a larger body of work from Lucid Planet before I'll even consider them in the same realm as Tool.
I hope Lucid Planet continues to put out music. I hope one day I can say that they are Tool's equal.
When I have drugs, I live in a planet named lucid!
AMAZING!!!!!
Nice!
Love the many different sounds of this song!
Perfect 😍
great work
very good...............................................
hey, that was pretty good
This is good music.
Comparisons are fine, some people perceive sameness and others differences. I think a comparison to APC is closer than Tool. That said, there are some nice differences, like the short bluesy solo in the first part of the song. Tool's music, from a music theory point of view, is more complex, especially rhythmically. (I'm not sure Danny Carey has an equal right now.) As a musician, this is an element I listen to in music, but to others complexity may not be valued. It's all personal preference and what emotional value the music has to you, because music appeals to our emotions at a very deep level.

much love guys
Bad ass song
love your songs, I want to see some actual music videos ;) *winkwink*
Super. Danke
Gute Musik oder^^? Kennt hier in Deutschland leider kaum jemand.
Bro what 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Scratches that itch
Glad I found you.
hee
Closest band I’ve heard to tool without sounding like they’re copying them. Good job!
True!
yuuup cant stop listening to it , must go see them live , they are from Melb VIC ?
We are indeed from Melbourne Vic, and playing at the Bergy Bandroom on Oct 7th if you'd like to make it down.
🙏💫
Wow awesome! Who has done this animation? Pls
how tf is there only 30k views
Holy shit
heir of the maynard.
This entire album is great. Have you guys released drum tabs for these songs and if so where can I find them.
I think they're a bit too underground for that at the moment, hopefully they get bigger and tabs get released
3:50 goddddamn it
I need an instrumental
отлично!
Does anyone have the guitar tabs for this song? I cant find them anywhere
They are too underground unfourtanetly
The beginning is ducking king insane use good headphones and close ur eyes and let them follow the sound d back and forth as it speeds up ducking yea hahaha
çok iyi lan
New AGITATION FREE.
Sağlam kafa yapıyo
Could anyone tell me, what is this spreading sound occuring e.g. in 6:35? It comes from my body and gets me high lol
Hey! The sound I think you're referring to is the oscillating sound, it's some guitar chords played with a tremelo effect :)
@@thatstheguyoverthere thank You Sir
What tuning you guys play in?
MrDostoeyevsky Hey mate, thanks for asking. This album was primarily played in Drop C tuning; Guitars: C G C F A D, Bass: C G C F. We will definitely release tabs for everything when we can focus on them, as recording for the second album wraps up later this year.
Itd be nice to hear one chill psychedelic tribal sounding song without seeing the name Tool everywhere. I love tool but my musical library has enough bands to not compare everything to like 2 bands. This is its own thing let it be that way. The tool sound was around before tool was anyway so i dont know why everything has to be "tool this" "tool that" when listening to bands that share almost nothing to tool other than a tribal psychedelic undertone.
Idk know what to say so I'm just going to say
great band but I would like to see the singer really work on his voice with some lessons because at times he comes out flat.
But is it psychedelic is what matters? Yes it is. From the darkest horrors of impending Doom, these guys play music.
2019 and still enjoying this more that the new tool album
Good stuff, the vocals need some work but the lyrics and instrumentals are great. So glad to have this while Tool takes forever on their next album.
I thought that at first, but after enough listens, I wouldn't change it.
@@jacobshirley3457 their second album is much better in my opinion. Supreme music 🤌 Highly recommend a beginning to end listen if you haven't yet.
Tool bring me here
Rishloo singer?...
wtf is this? dayumm
I like men, that tool? it,s ok
Una copia de tool
Good but not as good as TOOL the music is great but the vocals fall short
They can play as a tool, but they can never sing like maynard !!!!
noone can
vocals ruined this
