This is the King Buffalo that grabbed my attention and never let go. Dan Reynolds looks like an eighth grade English teacher , but he grooves like he has rhythm for breakfast and funk for lunch. I love these guys.
Somehow, he looks like the only one who had a stable childhood, and started doing this to piss his parents off.

this song has a Floydish 'one of these days" pulse and vibe. Typical King Buffalo though. The tempered emotions, thro and style. There's an intimacy and appeal that is unmatched. Much like you I'm baffled by the wideness of their musical scope and horizon explored. "The Burden of Restlessness" packs tremendous drive and poise, but drones with the same sturdy melancholy as "Regenerator", but there's an ocean between them. "Acheron", same thing. Very organic and musically compelling, but it differs without diverting from the benchmarks of the band's sound. Such wondrous explorations of their musical variety. They are a keeper for sure.....

There really has been no Apex yet for Buffalo. Each release is it's own gem.
Somehow after coming across The Record Company, All Them Witches was a suggested listen which led me to King Buffalo as a suggested listen last week. And to say I've been floored is probably the greatest understatement in my 48 years of listening to music. The doors have been my favorite band ever since hearing People Are Strange covered in the movie The Lost Boys. No matter what I came across I've always gone back to them as my #1. That is until hearing King Buffalo and having that same feeling I had pulling out my dad's The Soft Parade album and playing it until my dad was so fed up he banned me from playing it anymore. They have taken the throne.
Same. So glad I found All Them Witches, that led me to King Buffalo and I love introducing them to people daily.
I understand since I am a longtime guitarist and pianist at age 72. I used to be into All Them Witches but ever since their organist left a distinct creativity has been missing from their music. So far, KB has just kept on creating great music for an old dog like me. This song is a stellar example. It is great with a powerful solo and then the ending hits you! Stellar!
This song should be called "Pure Bliss" because that's what I just experienced listening to it
I feel deeply as though this song is about Seans mental struggles and overcoming them, a lot of the lyrics on the burden of restlessness were probably about his lowest point that he was going through at the time, and the mammoth riding through the snow represents him soldiering on through the harshest conditions of his mind and ultimately winning the battle he was having internally. The harmonized and triumphant vocals at the end just drive the point home that he's overcome his demons and is transcending to be a better man

Suffering from depression myself and loving psychedelic rock music I can say that this music is wonderful - touching my heart and giving me comfort all the time!
There is no band in the world at this moment any better than King Buffalo. I feel pity for anybody who has not had the pleasure of listening to these musical geniuses.

Actually I already heard them alive, I was right next to them in the whole Gig, how lucky was I, and talk with them, such a great and beautiful humans. Love them and for sure I recommend everyone to see them. Best band ever I had the pleasure to meet. 🙌✨🪐🌌

This is the most amazing band - I've played drums for 40 yrs, play guitar, I sing, went to music school for percussion - I wish I was the drummer in this band. These guys rule - Orion is an insanely good album - thank God for King Buffalo - keeping everything good about rock music alive - I will always support this band

Regenerator is without one of the best rock albums in last 10 yrs. King Buffalo’s mix of psychedelic, stoner metal and prog is quite unique and cuts like a cleaver

Just heard them today for the first time. Envy me! The build up in this song is just beautiful!
A friend turned me on to this band a few weeks ago (sadly, too late for the show in Buffalo, and they're not playing Pittsburgh this tour). From the first notes of Regenerator and also Orion, I was hooked. I loaded their entire catalogue onto my Spotify playlist, and when I got home I ordered those two albums and Dead Star (which has the coolest fucking cover of any album, ever) and that Dune-inspired shirt.
How I never heard of them before that is a mystery, but now they're my favorite band.

It's definitely catchy, but I'm fond of Interlude as well. Sort of has a "Within You, Without You" kind of vibe to it.

Just heard about this band today at work . . . so I thought I would check them out. They are VERY talented. The vocals, guitar solo and the lighting effects perhaps shows some "Pink Floyd-esque" qualities. I will definitely check out more of their music.
