I own this rod, as well as a 7' 3/4 also from Wild Water. As mentioned in the video, this is a high-quality, well made rod and certainly worth the cost, as low as that may be. A professional trout fishing guide, with whom I occasionally fish, was quite impressed with this rod's construction, balance, and casting action. The customer service provided by Wild Water is excellent. I had a question for them, called and left a voice message and, within five minutes had a call back. Wild Water is also a supporter of Project Healing Waters, a non-profit organization serves beat-up old veterans, like me, by taking them fishing, providing all the gear if you don't have any, provides guides and instruction . . . all at no cost to the veteran. So, all in all, given the quality of the products, the excellent customer service, and support of those who served our nation in it's military, you can't go wrong buying from Wild Water.

Another great rod to add to your channels collection of entry level rod reviews for review (if looking for suggestions) would be the TFO NXT Black Label outfit, it’s my favorite amongst the others in this category. The Wild Water travel rod that breaks down into 7 pieces is another cool one to feature and try out. Thanks for the great content guys!
The prodict description says medium fast action but in the Amazon q&a a WW rep says slow action. My fly shop said the 5/6 definitely needed 6wt line and I should cast slow suggesting slow action ?
@@rsi2493 so i have a max catch fiberglass 3 wt and i have the 2w ultralite. both are awesome so far. max catch so far is sweet! also got their fly vise

I actually use mine on a small stream sometimes and it catches good.
