Ok....so I made this recipe and just finished eating it. I have to say, it was awesome! Absolutely delicious! Added squid, bean sprouts, chinese cooking wine, sesame oil and a bit of soy sauce to heighten the flavor profile. I will be making this again and again. Thanks for the recipe!
This is truly done the way I like to have it served. I would like to have a few pieces of squid as well in it Great Job Thanks for the video well presented
I noticed the raw shrimp seems to have some prep'ed with some type of starchy paste? Do you soak your shrimp in baking soda to get them plump and bouncy first? i heard some will soak, then rinse, then cover in cornstarch first to make the shrimp "crunchier". Do you do that or is it plain unprepped raw shrimp?
It’s egg white and maybe baking soda and maybe white pepper, xiao xing cooking wine and maybe cornstarch. Might not be all those and it could be. it’s a velevting technique which helps tenderize protein you can do the same to chicken and beef.
What were the ingredients at the 4:04 mark and how much chicken powder did you add. Could you add ingredient lists that go along with your recipes? That would help. Thank you
I like your videos but what is chicken powder? Dried ground up chicken meat? Chicken bouillon in powder form? You clearly can sell your products, as seen in the description with the video. I just wish you would explain a few items more clearly. Thank you.
I think the seafood makes sense for the Cantonese Chow Mein. Mushrooms go great with seafood. Beef is in the mixed meat Chow Mein with vegetables. Don't get me wrong, I would the the hell out of your suggestions, but they are two different dishes
His cooking skills are fabulous. Just imagine the taste. Whew!😋

+Chris Chan
Thank you Chris.
Chris Chan
Siu Si Fu, good stuff
we use fish balls instead of fish cakes. And also add soy sauce to give it some color.
I love to try Chinese broccoli

You can find them in all Chinese supermarkets, it's basically chicken essence powder or stock powder, mixed with salt and sugar to give a light sauce.
Super chef.
Looks yummy!!
Very nice
Wonderful
master cook!
This is healthier than beef pan fried noodles.
love it
i bit into my phone it looks soooo good
Magnifico!!
Good, but i not hear him so good :((
Pls make chicken wings....
You need to improve the quality of the audio.
I only coming, if you really giving good amount of protein as you shown in video!
Looks great! But i could not hear you at all.
Possibly turn the hood fan off when you are talking? Or add audio later? Otherwise this is a bust
Thicken it with corn starch?
Thicken it with Corn Starch?
Thicken it with Corn Starch?
Nice.
You know how we chinamen do baby!
: ) With crispy noodles Cantonese-style. My favorite thing in the whole world.
COLLABERATORZ Ouija Able I like mine with some shiitake mushrooms
kenny Roberts I like mine with assorted mushrooms & sliced marinated black-pepper beef.

It looks good but not much like chow mein to me.
Oh and please can you speak up and post the ingredients.
+Peter Franzen that one is the crunchy type of chow mein (:
This is authentic chinese chow mein. It's not the Americanized chow mein.
Used too much fish cake which is a cheap substitute for real seafood
If you willing to pray for it. Definitely jump up in price$5-$7
cook slowly
Too bad the microphone he is speaking into is in the... refrigerator.
Olive oil? I turned off, right there.
i barely can understand him :(
everything is perfect except please do not use your finger to pick up the vegetable at the end, please use chopsticks, please please
Why should he use chopsticks? Gordon Ramsey doesn't use chopsticks or gloves when he plates his food.
You dont want to know what goes on in a kitchen! You may never eat out again!
I dont like this kind of chow mein. you basically just fried the noodle then put the sauce on top.
pl shoot it with minimum seriousness. And learn to record sound. and use some titles to back up for the horrible audio
way too much oil in those noodles
He just need cooking lesson
这太恶心了。谁愿意吃?
