This video covers a BMW E60 steering wheel removal, which is yet another simple repair for the home mechanic. We made sure to include the removal of the airbag as it's also a fairly popular question we get asked and is a required step for removing the steering wheel. We had a little bit of trouble getting our screwdriver underneath to unlatch the airbag in the first step so stay patient, a broken part is not worth rushing through a repair.
This is a great video if you are upgrading to a performance steering wheel, or need to remove the steering wheel for other repairs.
