very helpful video thanks. quick question - as soon as I connect the new airbag (without even physically plugging it in, just the wire connector) , the horn goes off.. been reading a lot about it online - checked the wiring and everything, all looks fine.. ideas?

Seems like you need a new metal bracket. Original tend to get damaged with airbag goes off.
