That would be easier if it weren't a struggle to hear him! He's wired and has a Lav, but...no joy. The camera is doing the work here. A higher quality back-up would be to use a good smartphone Lav Mic. Smartphone Audio quality is very good these days, and would be quite usable. When I shoot company seminars and workshops, EVERYTHING goes through my Sennheisers AND external DR60 through a Shure shotgun...it works great for the Q&A at the end.
