What’s parsley doing in my videos?!? Belongs on the dinner plate. Anyhow, no need to be jealous with the amount of work we do around here in a week. You too could do the same if you put forth the amount of physical effort you do into your negative comments. Carry on!!
Parsley is a finishing garnish. Just makes dinner look extra fancy! Mortske works his tail off and he does an awesome job on the vehicles! He uses all oregano parts! 😂
My Chihuahua, Grouchy Bear, passed away this weekend. I'm not going to be able to watch the video this week without him. You hug Duff for me! He's a special guy!
Absolute best Thanksgiving dinner ever! Dad and son in the garage, steak and taters on the Blackstone, paper plates on top the tool box, leaning against some old junk. Livin' your best life! Thanks for sharing.
So cool seeing a video like this. Living in the non-rural world, it’s so interesting to see a window into someone’s life. Collecting and owning all these old classics. A bit like walking through a life sized time capsule.
I learn a lot from you Mr Mortske. Your knowledge of early cars and trucks, priceless. I think you found a diamond in the rough at that auction. Congrats to your Dad! I bet he’s gonna LOVE the new wildfire. What a beast 🙂 Thanks Mortske!
Spend as much time with your dad as you can .my Dad passed away in 2016 I miss our father son projects and time we spent. Looking good more storage is always better
Nice find Mortske! That old Chevy sure cleaned up nicely. Your asking price is very reasonable for as solid and complete it is. I’d like to see you finish it and ask even more for it.
Love the explanation at the end about flipping things, nobody understands the risk you take buying cars, trucks, parts etc. and the time and effort to do it! well said!
Got my Cowboy Cadillac shirt the other day. Love it. Super soft, just like you said. Pay no attention to the "too long and boring complaints ". Next thing they'll want is a 30 second "Mortske Minute".
The '59 El Camino brings back some memories. I bought a '59 El Camino in 1989 to restore. It was wrecked hard in the front and the driver's door and had a worn out '68 327 in it. I spent the summer of '89 restoring it with my dad. I put a Chevy 350 crate engine in it and an '82 Z28 Super T-10 four speed trans. I put a set of recovered '64 Chevy bucket seats in it and did the interior in black velour with red dash. My dad painted the car bright Corvette red. I drove that car for about 7 years and then sold it. I wish I still had it, it was a real head turner. Those cars bring stupid money today restored.
Always enjoy the early Monday morning video, nice to see you guys reusing good material to make things happen on shop improvements. When a man is alone to his own devices of making a project happen he uses everything at hand to get it done.
Great video! Thx for showing the process of finding the car. I hope to do it one day. Also, you don’t need to justify what you do and how much money you make to the haters. Don’t waste your breath.
I loved everything about this video! Really cool auction out there in the sticks and a really good score getting that Chevy coupe. Lots of potential there. I like how you and your Dad celebrated Thanksgiving together. Your Dad is my age and I know how much he probably appreciates the time he gets to spend with you. I'd take what you guys had for dinner any day over Turkey. You did an amazing job with that new addition, especially not being a trade carpenter. Have a nice Christmas and thanks for the time you put into making these awesome videos.
Thanks for the privilege of inviting your viewers to a seat at the Thanksgiving table of Sir Thomas and Lord Duff, along with the whole Mortske Repair family in todays video. It’s not Monday without Mortske, and it’s not Mortske without Duff…Love the Duff!
You probably got the best car at the auction, that 48 is in great condition. Happy belated Thanksgiving 🦃 it was nice seeing you and your dad having dinner together and working. The new magazine is coming nicely. Buy cheap and sell high, I've been flipping trucks for 40 years. Great video and content as usual 👍✌️🇺🇲
Sir, I'd watch a short video or a late video for you to get a holiday off. Listen to this old man of 45 years. Enjoy the time you have. Thank you for your hard work.
That is in such great condition for a northern car. I'm sure you won't have any issue selling that. Nice find! Duff said the next one has to have a functional motor so he can go for a ride.
$3,500 !!! Geez, by the big disclaimer at the end of the video I thought it would be triple this price. With how solid this car is, the hours saved by replacing rusted floors, trunk, rockers etc, it's a real bargoon! Thanks for another entertaining vid.
Great video as always. The coup was a nice score. I really like when you disclosure what you had to give or what things sell for kind of lets a person know what is possible for them budget wise. I really envy you, how awesome it must be to have a great dad like you to hang out with and to help with projects.
I laugh every single time you use the "Puddin' Fab Shop anthem" when you clean one out or pressure wash 😂 Great to see this one start to "finish". Always great episodes 👍 Thanks for the work that goes into these, much appreciated 👍
Happy belated Thanksgiving!!! Good to see your dad and you having dinner together. Hope you have many more. Cars will come and cars will go but there's only one Dad.
That trip to the auction was just what you needed , you came away smelling like a rose . The coup is like it was owned by a Chevrolet exec , you don't find them in that shape at auction every day , and you are nearly giving it away . The work on the mezzanine is going to give you storage , twice what you had and no floor space is involved . Thank you for a Mortske Monday that went beyond all expectations , take care , Appreciate your Dad , you don't get to eat like that every day !! give Duff Dog a treat for all his help , Stuart in Ontario ..
good holidays to you and yours. good contractors are never happy. liking the long form my self. something vary satisfying watching others work while i am having coffee and cookies. and smoking like a chimney. swisher sweets. any time.
I like that you saw that old original paint Chevy at an auction and saved it by assembling it enough to make it a great project for someone else. Very cool!
Awesome find! Can't wait to see the final finish. Favorite dad joke...How do you catch a polar bear? Cut a hole in the ice and put peas all around it. When the polar bear comes up to take a pea, you kick him in the ice hole. (insert wamp wamp here).
Mojo is your secret weapon when it comes to okd school knowledge. Good guy to keep around. The old chevy looks very solid. Never be able to say that about a 70 year old tesla. My 4 post is handier than bungee cords. A true back saver.
Loving the longer format. Your narration is unparalleled. Good to see Chin, mojo and Duff. If you live farther south you'd find stuff in much better condition (Captain obvious)
Dear old car gods, don’t let mortske ditch that sun visor because of simple dents.. please help him understand how a proper sun visor and all the original chrome trim increases the gangsterness level alone by unimaginable bounds.. help him with his hatred for white walls..thank you old car gods ! Amen. Thank you sir mortakiss for another very awesome video, I appreciate you sir !!! Love goes to King Mojo and Duff Doggy Dogg !!! 💯❤️😉
Moretske, I got my general contractor's license in 1977. You could have made good money in the building trades from what I see. Good to see your dad is still in good enough shape to help you with work.
I hear you!! I pulled my truck apart, lost a bunch of parts, it’s been over 8 years and a lot of it is back together with new parts now, but it’s been quite the trek…
Need to cut your video shorter too long and boring a lot of nonsense just fix the car instead of parsley finishing it

Aww Why you hating on something different? Hope you had a good turkey day! STOP the Hate.
So what you mean to say, is you dont have the thyme to watch?

Absolute best Thanksgiving dinner ever! Dad and son in the garage, steak and taters on the Blackstone, paper plates on top the tool box, leaning against some old junk. Livin' your best life! Thanks for sharing.
Dang right! Best Thanksgiving ever!
I do love these videos where you walk around a farm talking about all the old stuff around. A young guy like me wouldn't know what most of it is!
Thanks for the shout out.. You are the man!
Our pleasure!
Pudding gonna love that you put his song in your video.. it really brightened up my day.
