Super lazy UA-camr. I used to like this channel before but now it sucks. He takes to as much time as possible to say simple things and just loves hearing himself talk.
Yeah, never heard of a Thunderbolt cable, a dock, a monitor, a charger, a light bar, an SSD or about a keyboard. They are really "MacBook accessories that I've probably never heard of".
Wait. Are you telling me if I get a longer cable, I can place my device farther away from the port? What if I need to put it closer, what will I do then? I think I need a shorter cable also.
I too prefer low profile keyboards since they're easier on my wrists, and I do a lot of typing. I'm currently using a Magic Keyboard, last gen without the touch ID because it saved me money.
Comparing the 3 low-profile keyboards would be GREAT for me, as I am currently still looking for a keyboard to pair up with my macbook and can't decide between exactly these 3. It would be really helpful video for me and I believe for a lot of other people considering the fact that those are probably 3 of the most popular mac keyboards on the market.
I've been using the Dell U4924DW 49" ultrawide for the last couple months. It's been absolutely fantastic.. It is amazing to me how little the thing moves given how incredibly heavy it is.
I was using low profile keyboards: logitech mx keys, apple magic keyboard, but for some reason they felt uncomfortable after some time, I recently moved to mechanical keyboards, now I'm using keychron q1. I suggest buying a wrist rest from keychron, that eliminates the problem that is not a low profile keyboard. I work as a software developer and I'm typing all day, so far the most comfortable experience I've had with a keyboard.
I’ve been kinda amazed with the WiFi on this thing.. I’ve not needed to plug anything in but the type-c cable to charge. But I just stream stuff mainly even this base is probably overkill. I liked the low TDP sipping wall power and being balls fast though so I spent the extra and got this when I needed a new laptop.
Totally agree with the thunderbolt cable. I religiously try to purchase only thunderbolt cables. My biggest compliant with USB-C cables is the lack of labeling. You have no clue the power delivery strength. I have a right angle, six foot thunderbolt 4 cable and I love it.
@@CreatedTech I did a little digging, it's actually Stage Manager which was a feature added to MacOS Ventura. I just got a new MacBook Pro and haven't used MacOS in a while. I’ve found over the years of travelling my laptop battery is my best “power bank”. I like to keep my stuff light weight and usually travel with carry-on luggage only.
@@CreatedTech What about a power bank for your phone when you don't have your laptop with you? I will be traveling abroad later this year and will be using my phone for day trips (google maps tends to drain the battery fast), so it would be wise to have a portable charger with me.
@@lucys4312 Depends on your usage. I used Google maps all day when travelling and never ran out of battery. I just made sure my phone was charged to 100% before leaving the hotel. If you're worried about battery you can always take a lightweight portable battery with you. Maybe a 5000mah Anker one.
Thank you, I will get that; it is inexpensive. Since I will be traveling in non-English speaking countries, I plan to use also google translate (more battery usage). I am curious to find out if I can have a nice trip and be able to communicate with the locals using these tools.
@@lucys4312 I think that setup would work well. Don't forget when traveling, unless you're visiting a very remote area, you can buy almost any kind of cable, battery, or charger you need within about 5 minutes (airport, convenience store, grocery etc). I would recommend either making sure your phone plan has a data roaming option (might be expensive), or get a local SIM.
Just curious about this question for a long time, if you are doing some power work on your M1 Pro 14 inch MacBook Pro, will the 35w charger keep your Mac in full power? or it will slowly drain some power from your battery?
Using low wattage charger can damage the battery of your Mac. I have experienced it with my previous Macbook Pro and had my battery bloated change earlier than usual
@@brianjaviercarreon3275 What I had experienced is with 2015 MacBook Pro 15 inch, I used the regular battery with no issue, but apple called back the battery and replace it, then after around half year, I faced the bloated issue, only with official 87w charger. Just want to carry lightweight, but perhaps I will keep it safe...
I have a base M1 MBA, got a cheap Sabrent USB C hub for $15 ($11 USD), a 27in 1440p 60Hz Fujitsu monitor for $180 ($133 USD) and use my MBA below the monitor as a secondary display.
Been over 5 months... Still waiting on that Logitech Pro X Superlight video. I have one that I primarily use for my gaming PC and I have gotten some software to make it function a bit like the Magic Mouse, but I always go back to the Magic Mouse when on my Mac.
4K displays scale perfectly with macOS if you select the "Larger Text" option (looking like 1080p) They're even better than 5K displays because looking like 1440p is too small IMO Also, if you watch videos (mostly 1080p and 4K), they will scale perfectly on a 4K display unlike those trans ass 5K resolution
It's a 4K monitor so it will only record in maximum 4K resolution. If you're referring to the ultrawide, yes - it will record the full 21:9 aspect ratio of the screen.
@@CreatedTech yes referring to the ultra wide that screen recording clip will turn out to be 6k coz my same setup the setup aspect ratio for the clip is 2.40:1 and dimensions is 6390x 2660 the real question is when you import that clip to editing software and add some effects does ur mac or pc lagg and sometimes hang with a beach ball?
Correction: I have the same LG 40-inch curved monitor, and it's 5K not 4K. Otherwise great video! Would love to see a review on those keyboards, if you haven't already done it by now.
It's a 5K horizontal resolution, but only 4K vertical. So the overall resolution is still technically "4K". It can be confusing because a lot of monitor companies don't advertise it correctly, so people think it's a true 5K display. I will be doing a full comparison video between all those keyboards soon!
@@CreatedTech Ah, I see what you're smoke'n. It seems you're making up your own classification for resolution, or at least one that I am not aware of in my infinite knowledge of the subject (sarcasm); the only resolution numbers I've ever seen are given by the approx max number of pixels along one axis, which is the horizontal axis in most cases. And anyway, the monitor in question has 2K vertical. But I see what you mean, and don't deny that it makes sense in some universe.
@@HelloWorlds__JTS LG markets the 40WP95C-W as "5K2K (which is 5120 pixels x 2160 pixels)". However, a traditional 16:9 aspect ratio 4K monitor is 3840p x 2160p. So LG's marketing is even more confusing, because although this monitor is technically "2K" pixels vertical, that pixel count (2160) is still equivalent to a 4K resolution. I guess the best way to think about the resolution of this monitor is "Wide 4K".
Good recommedations, but why the Samsung T5 over the T7? They're so close in price now and from the clip it seems like you recommend the T5 at a $139 price, and I just don't understand why you think it's worth that much. I've bought T7s for less
Not a whole lot of difference between them tbh. If you can find a T7 for a really good price, get that over the T5. One reason why I avoided T7s in the past is that they had issues with overheating when reading or writing a lot of data. They would thermal throttle and give you the same speed as a T5.
Ah, wasn't aware of that. Noted. Also, I've been rewatching most of the monitor reviews on your channel recently as I'm looking into buy one, and must say I appreciate how thoroughly you review them. Great work!

Any other resolution other than 5120x2160 / 2 looks like blurry shit on LG 40WP95C-W. Even if you're not a designer, just reading blurry text on the screen is disgusting. So actually if you're used to retina clarity, on the LG 40WP95C-W you only have the 2560 x 1080 option where everything is perfectly sharp. Yes the UI will be large, but where you have text or some sort of editor, you can usually control the zoom regardless of the interface. I own an LG 40WP95C-W I will soon buy a second one like this to put stacked on top. But once again, using stretched pixels is absolute nonsense. Windows doesn't have this problem, but macOS can only output the interface clearly 1x or 2x resolution. When it's a huge dpi like >220 on macbooks then the stretched resolution is noticeably less, but when it's 140 dpi 40 inch ultrawide then you're literally looking at blurry shit. Still don't understand why Apple are such dicks and can't make a normal interface scaling, not stretching the already rendered screen. Shame on them. Like, we don't give a shit that there are any other monitors besides 200-230 dpi, let's pretend they don't exist.
These videos are wierd, bro spends 1k on a monitor, nearly 200 on a light for that monitor, and a ton of other money on other things but spends 20 on a mediocre charger and doesnt want anything more because its expensive.
