  • David Nalbandian was one of my favorite players to watch. He hit the ball heavy and clean and had the game to beat anyone. But what is Nalbandian's racquet?
    PS. David Nalbandian retired in 2013 and can now be seen more on the amateur rally circuit and with a padel racquet in his hand. His highest ATP ranking was number 3 in 2006 and he reached the final in Wimbledon 2002. Nalbandian's biggest title came when he famously beat Federer in the 2005 ATP Masters Final.PS. Rios pls!! He's up there with Nalbandian in terms of clean, effortless style of play. He was also not the biggest guy, so interested in what he was swinging. As always, great video!

    Nalbandian is my favorite player ever. Thanks for doing that, that’s a great series! My vote for the next review would be Marat Safin’s Prestige Classic 600. If there is a non wooden racket which gives a nicer sound at impact than PT600, I don’t know such. I Always have it in my bag, and I hope that one day I will have the technique to play matches with it.

    Gasquet's racket is very interesting. I know you reviewed the LM instinct already but not so much going into detail about Gasquet's racket specifically. Its a beast of a racket from what iv heard with the unusual butt grip and also being an xl.

    Just one note; 32.3 cm balance in a 28’’ long racket will equal 10 points HL and not 6 i believe.

    Love your channel, it's absolutely the best. Looking forward to using your consultation service once courts open back up in my area.
    Can we see Ash Barty next? I absolutely love her play style, and she just switched racquets this year, so I'd love to see the specs she uses.
    Cheers, keep making killer vids!

    Nalbandian is one of my favorite players. He's got me trying out 28" racquets now haha. I have some POG 100 Longbodies, but they feel a bit noodle-like. I do have an RDS 001 mp, maybe I should extend it hahaha.

    Great and interesting review again. Thank you. Before switching to Pro Staff Wilson, I played with RQ-180, RD-7, super RD-tour and my last Yonexes RDS 001 and Vcore DuelG 97. RDS 001 was a great racquet, I played some of my best matches with it. Very plush feeling and suitable for all-round eastern grip game. Cheers!

    Thanks! Love Nalbandian. That's one heavy frame. Amazing swingspeed from him on the move with such a long, heavy setup. Rios and Safin first but then - whatabout Verdasco? Prone to switching, which is interesting. And isn't his specs surprisingly light? According to some, at least. Players reportedly using light or stock frames would also be interesting, like Goffin or Fucsovics.

    wouldn't a 32.3 cm balance translate into 10 pts HL when talking about a 28 inch racquet?
    Like: 32.3/2.54 = 12.72 -> 12.72 - 14 = -1.28 -> -1.28 x 8 = -10.24
