Nalbandian played the most attractive tennis I have ever watched. The statistics shows clearly he was not among the best players of the history. But if it existed a ranking of creativity, skill and beauty in the game, he would be my number one.

Nalbandian. Never out of place. Precise timing of shots. Finest control on ball... rolling, flatout, top spin, back spin. He whispers to the ball, and the ball obeys. Best double handed backhand ever. 2007 Madrid and Paris peak untouchable performances.

Nalbandian is top tier player. Can't imagine he entered Wimbledon final and never entered another GS final. Probably because of Federer Hewitt and Roddick.
I remember my JC tennis coach asking me who I thought had the best strokes and I said Nalbandian, and he totally scoffed at that and said he's 'just a counterpuncher', which really makes no sense even if it were true. Point is that guy was an idiot
Talented, extremely. Elite physical condition? No. Couldn't be bothered. Relied on solely on his skill. As a result, in his career he only made it to one GS final. Played some great matches though.
He love life more than tenís. He love to go fishing, friends, family , rally. He sacrifice a lot from very young age for tenís, so whe he pass the 30s he decided to retire. Think that most of the important torments are in USA and Europe. Players from there can go home very easy. Argentina is to faraway. And we love family and friends

Too much talent out there!
yes sir - my personal favorite for that title (been following tennis since early 80ies) is Michael Stich
Nah, Safin was better.
@@variszarins, in career, yes. But in talent, they were both well near in this term.

Had he possessed the mental toughness, commitment, and discipline of either Nadal or Djoker, he would have won many slams.

Del Potro and Vilas , and Sabatini too

Nalbandian -the man ,who made Agassis backhand look average!
I’d say Nalbadian’s background is better at rallying. Agassi’s was well suited for serve return against serve and volleyers
