I’ve only stayed in Vegas one week a few years ago at the Treasure Island resort and although I would not recommend the room, their buffet was really special. The plate I made for myself looked like art.
I tried this buffet precovid and noticed every staff member even behind each counter looked miserable. The food looked really good but the negative sad energy made the food lackluster. I never returned and can’t imagine post covid how it can get any worse.
Wow, I used to live in Vegas and I visit fairly often. My family and I have always planned to eat at Wicked Spoon and haven't been able to. I am glad I saw this.
All the prices for a buffet as just too much. At least Buffett’s should give a local residents a discount. That food looked awful to me. I sure miss the station buffets.
I go right at the end of breakfast and it bleeds into the lunch hour so I get crablegs at breakfast price 🤌🏻🤌🏻 I live in Vegas and it’s my favorite buffet
Perhaps we were lucky when we went. Food was fantastic and I don’t recall long lines or anything being dirty. We used to be locals, and I remember the Cosmo being really good.
Totally on point review! My first and only experience with wicked spoon was post covid reopening. waited in Line for 3 hrs, only to be met with subpar items.

Westgate Hotel breakfast buffet was yum yum. The pork chops were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Pay once, no lines and wonderful food with plenty of decent options
I actually like Wicked Spoon. I’ve been there over many many times. I’ve also been to Bacchanal at Caesar’s plenty. When I want to go all out and grub, I do Bacchanal. Long lines, and a lot of people but many many options and $80 before gratuity. I do Wicked Spoon when I don’t feel like standing in a long line or dealing with a huge crowd zig-zagging between tables and want to eat at a yummy buffet with a decent amount of options. Like pho, crab and bone marrow for $50. So, to each their own.😋
Usually im not too in strp with your reviews but on this one i wholeheartedly agree. Had saved over half a year in vacation time so i spent a week visiting family in vegas staying with them for free n wasting all my cash gambling eating ect and i would place the Wicked Spoon way down the list of places id return to. Just didnt do it for me or my friends/family
I’ve personally been there that one day I went to see Carlos Santana play live at the Mandala Bay Casino & it was whatever tbh I’d prefer a Hometown buffet, Golden Corral buffet, or any Asian buffets over that one
Except this is not supposed to be "every buffet on this side of the Mississippi". This buffet is expensive and highly-rated. Also, the waiting/line situation is much worse than a typical buffet.

The best bet is to come 30mins before breakfast is over and take your time eating into lunch. Then you get the breakfast price and able to sample both breakfast and lunch offerings. I went there last year and it was fine, but the crab legs were so small and took so much effort to break open. But for breakfast price, we couldn’t complain. 😂

Everything at the cosmopolitan is a total scam. Fantastic architecture and room but when I stayed there it was the worst experience I've had in that town for the price.
#1 Tip for finding a good restaurant in Vegas.
Leave Vegas.
So ignorantly incorrect. Off the strip is incredibly diverse with amazing restaurants.
There’s less than I can count on my left hand on the strip that are worth it though
@@MichelJPW Cmon, there are actually a lot of good restaurants in Vegas.
I'd still go to Battista's Hole in the Wall. I've never had a bad experience there.
@mitchellpasztor8807 this person's been to Vegas, relax lol
Thanks for that info
Never had a desire to visit this artificial environment and the food info doesn’t amaze me
I went there once precovid, it was the best buffet I had ever had. Went there last year and it was okay. Wasn't terrible, but wouldn't go back. Although their gelato bar was still top notch, not worth the price for just that though.
I went there a few years ago and the desert bar was the best I ever had. I wasn’t impressed with the rest of the food.
Started happening when they changed owners
I went April 2019... It was not good.
Yeah most las vegas casinos are nothing but scammy, that's how they make their money. they will surround You with expensive things to make you feel like you're eating at a high end restaurant. But at the end of the day youre just at a crummy buffet
A build your own PB&J station is CRAZY 😂
I miss the old Vegas so much!
Everyone who is old enough to remember it does...
Buffet for like $5 or free if you're winning at all 😉
I’ve been hearing Vegas is no good anymore. Wonder what the next Vegas will be?
@@mastercabbage Vegas is what you want it to be. If you're looking for gambling and shows you'll find it. If you're looking for expensive meals that aren't worth it you'll find that too. Something for everyone 😏
I’ve lived here since I was 4 years old (1982) minus a few years in NYC and I cannot wait to get out, the city has gone to hell.
I went there once I tell everyone about it, it was SO good.
Great value
Now THAT's a TOURIST TRAP!
I'm heading over to Trump where it's value for Americans
That used to be my go to buffet in town circa 2018. Things look like they have gone down hill. MGM has taken over management aswell.
Bingo! Nailed it.
OHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LORD I YELLED WHEN I READ YOUR COMMENT. You literally explained EVERYTHING. Cosmopolitan is done. I was there in 2012.
Your reviews are ALWAYS spot on except for this one!! You are an incredibly proper, highly educated, knowledgeable, ritzy young lady and you’d never lower yourself to the unfortunate level of disrespect and disgrace this buffet has reached! But I can say if for you: The Cosmopolitan has held a decent reputation within its hospitality side, their culinary options are from okay to mediocre, and the buffet falls below both! Don’t waste your time! As a Las Vegas local I’ve given them too many chances but not anymore!! However this amazing food and hospitality industries expert will help you and the world make an informed choice with amazing experiences!! Save her information #vegasstarfish and share her information with the world, she is the most valuable judge you’ll need in your Las Vegas experience!! And she doesn’t want, look for nor need any credit for her immense greatness!!!
I’ve only stayed in Vegas one week a few years ago at the Treasure Island resort and although I would not recommend the room, their buffet was really special. The plate I made for myself looked like art.
That wasn’t the case 10 years ago. The Wicked Spoon at the Cosmo was delicious!
I tried this buffet precovid and noticed every staff member even behind each counter looked miserable. The food looked really good but the negative sad energy made the food lackluster. I never returned and can’t imagine post covid how it can get any worse.
Weekday Breakfast is the anti-scam. You get practically the same food
P & J bar? Wowzer!
@@elizabethmokaraka6836 Nothing wrong with all the toast you can eat, and also the PB and/or J can be used on whatever else.
Everything in Vegas is a shakedown. Just stay away!!
I live in Vegas. It’s not a shake down. Nice try though. You don’t have to come here if you don’t like it.
Vegas doesn’t want people like you
Went there once, definitely gave scammy vibes, like who does a fast pass at a buffet? Plus no seasoning in the food.
All these years, my Servants have been making my PBJ 😭 I can't wait to try and make my own 🥳
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
😂😂😂
😂
classic.
It's harder than it looks, but you'll get the hang of it in no time.
Wow, I used to live in Vegas and I visit fairly often. My family and I have always planned to eat at Wicked Spoon and haven't been able to. I am glad I saw this.
Me too. Never been. I'm planning on going. Will definitely skip the WickedSpoon!! Thank you for posting and everyone honest post about the place.
nah this lady is crazy. wicked spoon is top 5 buffet in town.
@@CZVegas I like how everybody is going to avoid this place just because one random person on youtube said it was bad.
The buffet is alright dont be a sheep thinking its a good thing u trusted someone else opinion smh 🤦♂️
THANK YOU FOR THE HONEST REVIEW,,,,,,WILL BOYCOTT!!!!!
Can't blame you. If I'm waiting in line and the place does not get clean. I'm not going. Good heads up
I absolutely agree with you sista, thanks for the heads up. I believe all these buffets are overrated and OVER PRICES 👍🏽
All the prices for a buffet as just too much. At least Buffett’s should give a local residents a discount. That food looked awful to me. I sure miss the station buffets.
There 9 months ago. $34 for breakfast and got the crab legs as well. No lines, was clean and better than mgm and ballagio.
only for breakfast
I go right at the end of breakfast and it bleeds into the lunch hour so I get crablegs at breakfast price 🤌🏻🤌🏻 I live in Vegas and it’s my favorite buffet
I agree
The Bellagio buffet was some of the worst food ive ever had. This isnt bad. Especially if you are sterling and get the bogo buffet.
Pretty funny cause wicked spoon started to get bad when mgm took over the hotel
We went a few years ago and it wasn't good. We haven't been back and it looks worse. Thanks for the update lol
THANK YOU SO MUCH...cause girl this is now off the list!
Perhaps we were lucky when we went. Food was fantastic and I don’t recall long lines or anything being dirty. We used to be locals, and I remember the Cosmo being really good.
Well she did say "pre-COVID is a yes, now it's a no" so many the quality to cost difference has worsened.
Yt ppl always complain about the strong smell of seafood. The fresher it is the stronger it will smell...
Maybe she should stick to mac n cheese.
@pistolpete8231
It’s not supposed to smell bro
@@ShinmegamiPersonashe didn't do the taste test so she's trippin
So true ! I was waiting for 2 hours in the line over the weekend. Food wasn’t even that great. Better going to a nice restaurant, save your time
All good since ill never go to vegas again. Overpriced and peopel are rude as hell. Slot machines are tight on payouts as well
Totally on point review! My first and only experience with wicked spoon was post covid reopening. waited in Line for 3 hrs, only to be met with subpar items.
Just came back from Vegas. The WYNN hotel had a beautiful all -you -can- eat buffet that was delicious and clean. I stayed at the Strat hotel , however, next time, I’ll keep following you to see the best places to stay then book trip.
Honestly, rent a car and go off strip. There are better and cheaper ayce buffets within 10 minutes of the strip.
@@CC80 I definitely will next time , thank you 😊
I went after the pandemic. The line to wait wasn’t bad. There was no fast pass like what you’re saying. The food stations were cleaned when I went. The crab legs was fresh and not fishy at all. Sounds like you got beef with Wicked Spoon making this short 😂
We use to go to Vegas twice a year and all of the casinos use to have the best buffets it's sad to see this happen 😢
thats so interesting, i went to wicked spoon recently and it was super clean! maybe they’ve gotten it together?
Yea I was about to say, every time I've gone it's been really clean and the food was really good. Who knows
Agreed was there a week ago and it was clean no lines and delicious
Yeah this is one of my favorite restaurants. So much it’s the reason we stay at Cosmo.
@@vielumiereg9794 different strokes for different folks i guess, im not super boujee with my vacations but wicked spoon seems like a pretty fair price for what you get, and everything tasted and looked really fresh.
Their quality dropped after covid, last three times I was there it was the same way, food is mediocre and lines are long and it was pretty dirty. Bacchanal is also the same way
Westgate Hotel breakfast buffet was yum yum. The pork chops were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Pay once, no lines and wonderful food with plenty of decent options
😏👍
Wow thanks for your honesty, it needs to be out there, good job
She literally just described every buffet on this side of the Mississippi.
Except this is not supposed to be "every buffet on this side of the Mississippi". This buffet is expensive and highly-rated. Also, the waiting/line situation is much worse than a typical buffet.
That fast pass set her off!
"Fast pass?" "p-nut-b and jelly station?" Nothing looked appetizing. I live near here, but have never been. Thanks for the heads-up info, I'll avoid it!🧐
“ herded like cattle” welcome to the disgusting world of Buffets 😂
Soooooo that would be a hell no for me thanks for sharing
The best bet is to come 30mins before breakfast is over and take your time eating into lunch. Then you get the breakfast price and able to sample both breakfast and lunch offerings. I went there last year and it was fine, but the crab legs were so small and took so much effort to break open. But for breakfast price, we couldn’t complain. 😂
I went here for my birthday last November. There was no line, the crab legs were super fresh and amazing, a bottle of champagne was $25 and we left feeling like $50 a person wasn’t bad at all. Idk what day you went but I had a totally opposite experience
I totally agree. She missed the mark with this video and lost some credibility.
thats still way overpriced, i can get that in my city for $18
@@burnthecandleatbothendz - if you can find a snow crab buffet with large snow crab legs for $18, you must be living in an area with a time machine! My wife and I thought $40 was a steal.
@JMSites-kr3lj crab legs yes ,snow crab legs only on the holidays and it goes up to $35-$40 . we still have all of our buffets open unlike other cities except Golden corral, they shut down .we used to have a all you can eat steak buffet for $10.99 dam I miss that place but that was like 12 years ago now .
@@burnthecandleatbothendzok and I assume you don’t live in Vegas where EVERYTHING is imported?
Thanks!
I WILL AVOID "THE WICKED SPOON!!!"
WYNN Buffet is OUTSTANDING.
Best buffet in Vegas is at Ceasar Palace hands down.
Even after COVID? I remember in the early 2000s it was great!
Too pricey .
I was there and yeah THE WORST! Doesn't justify the 50 bucks, nothing there is tasty.... Avoid it!
You get what you pay for. The concept of Buffet is disgusting to me. It’s a glutton’s heaven .
Vegas has gone downhill. It has. It’s one giant rip off now. The prices are ridiculous. Total Greed by everyone. Including the prices now for these buffets! Some are at $100 per person! A family now has to remortgage their house to be able to visit Vegas for a few days! Crime too has risen. Homelessness (like everywhere!). I haven’t been back for awhile. It seems it will be a lot lot longer still.
Damn that's a shame to hear. I've never been before and I wanted to go for my birthday this December.
Inflation is a key factor, after all.
@@spindleblood
If you go you better bring tons of money. Also be careful too. They have had crazy knife attacks on people just walking the strip. Etc. They try and keep this quiet to not deter the tourists coming. I live in LA. So I hear about this stuff.
@@wilsonk1464
To a point but many of these places now are just using that as an excuse to gain more. Raise up their prices. Boost up the profit margins. They are riding on the whatever bad news about the economy.
@@spindlebloodi turn 40 this December and was gonna go to vegas ,im gonna stay local i think .to pricey to do anything anymore.
Damn good review. You’ve got a new fan.
Thanks for the heads-up. I'll skip this one and they're charging $50 ?! HELL NO
Buffet at Asia is $27 with crabs , crab legs and oysters ❤
there isnt a buffet at Aria anymore
Went for brunch once. It was great. And clean. No wait really.
It’s like modern Disneyworld.
No matter how much you try or spend you’ll never get your time OR moneys worth even if you pay extra just to get it.
Disney World is not so bad, but you absolutely must be very organized. The problem is that kids make organization difficult.
I went by myself twice, using an app to check lines (not the official one) and dynamically reorder my rides and shows if needed. I also was among the first to arrive in the morning.
I remember as a child the Buffet at Circus Circus was so good. And heard its still good today for 25 bucks
Funny story.... My first meal ever in Vegas was..... Circus Circus buffet. In 1985. It was $1.89. And as a 19 yo I thought that was high. 😂😂 It was soooooo good, I still remember that brunch buffet. And the lady squeezing oranges at a machine ❤❤❤.
I actually thought it was a fee to get in the restaurant. "I haven't even ordered food" i said outloud and the people I was with laughed. 😅😅
100% agree. We went before Covid and it stunk even then. Total rip-off.
The food appears as if it has absorbed all the sail air around it, and the place is nasty.
I actually had nothing but good experiences there. Only had a long wait once.
Note too self: Never go here.
You'll be missing out
"Buffet looks dirty."
Yeah no shit cuz you get 15 people a minute shoveling food as fast as humanly possible, no staff can keep up.
Life lesson, skip the buffet. Nasty ass 15 hands a minute, you know half the people there didn't wash their hands after taking a shit. You're going to get sick. For $50 a person you can just go to a nice restaurant and get something you'll actually like.
My family must have went on a good day. It was clean, food was amazing tasted great. I had options even with my allergies. VIP guests so there was no waiting in line for us. I’d go back 💯
Love this place i go every time im in vegas
Agreed. Extremely disappointing ALL around. Waited 2.5 hours just to eat BELOW average food. What a waste of time money and appetite.
She just described every buffet in America! LOL
50$ tho dude
@@nkinash321 It’s not. It’s less that 40
I agree pre covid this place was the delicious and very clean! It definitely didn’t look like the video now. How sad Vegas is turning into skid row 😢
There's nothing worse than a dying buffet.
If you choose to take your vacation in Las Vegas you deserve everything you get.
Videos Karen’s make when they don’t have enough of her favorite raisin salad.
Be careful at the carnival buffet, too.
If you get the seafood ticket, while eating they will stare you down, to see if your sharing your seafood with someone at your table.😮😮😮😮😮
"The crab legs smelled super fishy " Dafaque they spose to smell like!?!?
