I wish there was a mission that allowed you to completely rebuild the fort
They need to add that to the creation club
@giizisogaabo I don’t know who will finish building first that building in gta or the settlers hammering that one house
theeere is
@@mynamefoo5537 that’s wild 😭🤣
That would be great.
The quest could involve gathering enough settlers in the castle, and they ‘shovel” at the debris piles.
After several in game days the piles will be flattened.
Then you are sent to one of the quarries in the Commonwealth , clear out raiders, and turn it into a settlement.
Then gather quest specific settlers across the commonwealth to agree to ‘work the quarry” to gather stone and cement.
After that the walls can be rebuilt.
Oh but to dream…
Still helping people 8 years later. Thanks!
ikr
So says 40 more people since, including me lmao
Real
Has this guy realized how much anxiety he has cured
Right
*Vietnam flashback*
Probably because he went through it himself, and didn't want anyone else to suffer.
Preach!
He likely has no idea and I've been wanting to rebuild the walls for awhile just couldn't figure out how or where to look for the foundation. Now I find this guy and he's helped in more ways than one
Here I am, nearly ten years later, and JUST finding this? I gave up on fixing The Castle years ago! Hot damn, this great!
5 years ago and this video is still helping people, good job thanks for the video was struggling and frustrating trying to do it myself😂
same lol
AMEN TO THAT BROTHER!!!
6 years now
Make it 8
I just built my walls at the fort last night, and now I plan to tear them all out and rebuild it right! Thank you from a fellow OCD sufferer.
Beautiful. A video that will continue helping generations of players for eons.
Vault-Tec DLC just dropped and I got back into playing the game. Funny enough this is my first time taking Castle and I needed a step by step guide on how to fix the walls and yours was the easiest (and shortest) to follow, thanks man!
I'm glad to hear that you found it to be helpful. Thanks for watching!
I love gamers like this that work on all this stuff and share it, well done m8 you’re a nice guy big thxs 👍
And here I spent an entire afternoon frustrating myself with those damn walls.
Outta the 2 hours of watching settlement buildings on the castle I found yours the simplest, yet the coolest. Thank you for the tips and tutorial sir, you just got yourself another subscriber for all the good content on the games I play!
Glad it was helpful, and I sure do appreciate the sub. Thanks for watching!
I'm glad that I'm not the only OCD'd player that spent A LOT of time tediously rebuilding the Castle's wall. Awesome vid. I can appreciate another OCD builder's work. That was pretty much exactly what I figured out after a long night or two of trying to fortify my favorite settlement
I thought I knew all the building tricks, but your "magic staircase" is brilliant! My castle walls, and I, thank you!
Thanks for the video, very clear and easy to understand. Glad I looked this up before even trying. Pretty sure I saved myself hours of frustration. Took me 5 minutes to finish all the walls and it looks great. The workshop mode really takes some getting used to in this game lol
Posted 5 years ago still a huge help. All of my years of playing the game could not figure the castle build out, thanks!!
8 years passed, still help thankyou general
This is the best tutorial ive seen so far! It really helped me! Thank you so much!
I've probably made this same comment on your DA Inquisition videos, but I must say it again: I love your videos and they're really helpful, especially for my OCD about completion. Thanks.
+Lovin' The Chi Glad to hear you're still getting some good use out of the channel. Thanks for watching!
Short and VERY helpful. I loved the video. Thanks to you, the castle is a lot safer now.
Glad it was helpful Gendo. Thanks for watching!
THANK YOU!! This was by far the best Castle Rebuild video I’ve found 👏
That's very kind of you to say Jesse. I'm glad it was helpful. Thanks for watching!
Definitely a huge help, I feel like an idiot now lol, such a simple fix. Getting ready to murder the institute and prepare for the attack, tried this before I fixed up the castle and died by my fusion core ejecting on me mid fight😅, so I was like, yeah... better fix up the castle first and try this again😅
Just recently got back into Fallout and only just found your video! Superb!
the amount of raider attacks I've had on castle because of this was crazy. thanks for the help
You are a genius! This has been the simplest way to fix these walls that I have ever seen
Glad it was helpful Papastomper. Thanks for watching!
Awesome work as always. You make the best informational video's. Professionally done. Thank you.
+FrogRaider1 You bet Frog, thanks for sticking with me during the change over. I know I was spamming all of the subscribers with a shit ton of new FO4 videos there for a while so I appreciate you staying with me. I wound up losing about 300 subscribers while I was posting new FO4 vids, which really sucked. Thanks for watching!
MrCodeslinger Sorry to hear that you deserve better you make quality product.
Can't get the first shack floor to line up like yours at all! Can tell already im in for the long haul with this build! Haha. Appreciate the video! I fully expect lots of new viewers in the coming days! 😊
such a huge help man. I've put countless hours into this game. Over 5 play-throughs and could NEVER figure out how to do this.
+Aris Lewis I'm glad to hear that you found it to be helpful. Thanks for watching and taking the time to leave a comment.
This makes me want to start the game again.
Thanks I've had great trouble in fixing stuff in general. This video helped a lot.
Found you Quite recently after searching for Gwent Guides, saw the rest of your videos and there wasnt a reason i couldnt subscribe. Content is Great, keep it up man
+Teeze Well, thank you very much for saying so, that's very kind of you. I greatly appreciate the sub. Thanks for watching!
Thank you so much this helped me alot and caused me less anxiety
I had to change up the first wall a little cuz there were some gaps I saw under the founders the ground
Your is the best help with this issue. I've spent a while night using someone else help!!!😊 Thank you so much.
Glad it helped Rebecca. Thanks for watching!
Nicely done!
I subbed for Gwent; staying for FO and beyond.
Take care
+MyMorningDingo Glad to hear it. Thanks for watching and thanks for the sub, I greatly appreciate it!
Thank you very much very clear and concise. Love the results
Started my Fallout 4 playthrough around 5 months ago, I have like 3 days in game time but I've gotten to the castle, opening up the castle armory, and now I'm trying to manage all my settlements making sure they're protected but also able to survive by themselves. But the Castle and Starlight drive-in have always given me trouble. Nice to see this video on fixing the castle wall, and I also tried to fix the castle's metal bridge going around the left side, I did it with wood platforms but I may just go and try metal floors with scaffolding and try this while I'm at it. But I'm wondering if it's possible to make the shack foundation wall 2 wide, filling in the castle wall almost completely
Nice video man really helped me with fixing the castle on my game
Thank you so much. I just got the castle and this video helped make the castle my new base
That's awesome to hear DangerSense. Thanks for watching!
this was a huge help, great job bro
Wow, So glad I found this video. Great job. thanks
I sometimes still watch this wishing there had been a mission to actually fix the castle
It was very helpful to me. Thank you so much for the help. God bless!!!!😀
MrCodeslinger. your calm and clear description was a treat to behold and you weren't the slightest bit annoying with any part of your expert presentation. This coming from a guy who bitches at all and every clown who slathers UA-cam with "Gimme likes and subscribe" while posing as Academy Award winning Movie Stars in their own little Universe while being unintelligible incoherent and unclear. Hats off to you, I am subbing.
Very kind of you to say. I'm glad you enjoyed the video. Thanks for watching and for the sub, I really appreciate it!
@@MrCodeslinger No REALLY! I'm 72 and getting shorter on patience with so much vanity, selfies and self inflation. I have also searched for info on UA-cam for many games and you Sir, have really impressed me. Bloody good job!
Nice. A little cleaner than my first one years ago- I’ll use this guide for my new one!
Building the castle walls has been a pain too do. Thank you for the help
I went straight to UA-cam to figure this out! Got it on the first video.... now let’s see if I can master my build
That was fantastic, thanks for sharing this. I am working on it right now! :)
+likesc Excellent. That's great to hear. I hope it all lines up for ya. Also, in case you haven't played around with it much, something I didn't mention in the video, if you hold down your interact key/confirm key, on the PC it is E, and point at a group of things you can move them all together. So if you get a wall build that isn't quite straight you can straighten the whole thing out as one object with that. Thanks for watching!
+MrCodeslinger I wish I had known you could move multiple things like that earlier, but better late than never. Thanks for all your videos, they're all super useful and straight to the point.
Worked so well, much appreciated, new sub!
Glad to hear it Damo. Thanks for watching and thanks for the sub, I really appreciate it!
This is deadarse the best tutorial of its kind 👍🏻
That's very kind of you to say. I'm glad it was helpful. Thanks for watching!
No joke this helped me so much for the hell of it I even dobbel the thickness of the walls by adding a nother layer
I'm glad to hear that it was helpful, thanks for watching!
Thank u so much i maneged to do it first try because u explained the placement of floor so good
Glad to hear it was helpful MB. Thanks for watching!
Dude awesome video I fixed the walls thanks for making such a easy to follow vidoe
This is very helpful thank you so much 😊
great video, thanks so much for the help
Still works like a charm, thanks!
Brilliant. Glad it to hear it is still helpful. Thanks for watching!
Really great video! Very useful if you don’t have more!
I followed this to a tee and it looks great just a follow up question I have, on that corner where you repair the 2 walls that are close together what’s the best way to make those 2 walls kinda connect on top without a weird gap?
I've never hated an activity more thank you for help
Great tip! Thank you… I had NO idea how to do that!
LOL, yeah that definitely took some time to sort out and then sort out again how to "try" to explain it to everyone in a video. :) Glad it was helpful. Thanks for watching!
great, thanks for the shack stairs hack!
Awesome guide thank you 😁
Can't wait to try this just picked the game back up again
Welcome back to Fallout 4. I hope the video winds up being helpful. If you get a chance after trying it stop back by and let me know how things went.
Just found this 8 years later. Gonna have to get back on now lol
Best one by far good work bro
Helped me a whole lot thanks so much
Thank you, person 8 years in the past!
Glad it was helpful Starline. Thanks for watching!
@@MrCodeslinger awesome you still respond actively :)

Nice to know someone else out there is as particular about such things as I am. I'm happy to hear it helped. Thanks for watching!
I know this was 6 years ago but thank you so much!!
You are most welcome Luxax. I'm glad that you found it to be helpful. Thanks for watching!
Still very helpful! Thanks!
Bro thank you so much I just hoped on and I wanted to know how to fix the walls because I know there was not a mission to do it because I beat ever mission in the game so yeah vid came in clush thank you 🙏🏻
Glad to hear it Robert. Thanks for watching!
All praise the magic stairwells, for they allow us to do stuff
Thx so much this helped a lot
Thanks you so very very much!
You’re a life saver.
You are most welcome. I'm glad it was helpful. Thanks for watching!
A great tutorial thanks mayne
You bet. Thanks for watching!
Thanks keep up the good work
Thanks man this really helped
If you're wondering why you can't fix the fort normally, it's because the rubble is connected to a precombine. Removing it or tampering with it causes countless things to rendee as individual objects instead of one big one globally, meaning even as far as downdown boston by greentech genetics you're going to be getting like 10fps
2021 and this is still helpful
Glad to hear it. Thanks for watching!
Appreciate it a lot Buddy ! 👏👏👏👍👍👍👌👌👌
You are most welcome. Thanks for watching!
Damn that's nice. I never used the castle because of the holes
If playing on Xbox, hold A on a piece that you wish to move. Holding A will select all pieces that are connected. Then you can use the triggers to rotate the whole thing. This will help you get things straightened quicker.
thank you for this!
+sweetXgb You're most welcome. Thanks for watching!
This man is a genius! TY!
Glad it helped Thunder. Thanks for watching!
Very clean
There is a really great mod that repairs the Castle, it's called something like that "Castle Rapaired" I think. It fixes the walls and takes away that massive heap of ruble. It Also opens up one new room by the kitchen and like 5 more rooms by the armory. There should have been a Minute Man mission where we could have restored it to that state.
that worked great my castle looks fantastic
That's awesome to hear Marcus. Glad it helped. Thanks for watching!
That's a cool trick with the stairwell...
+Skolia Glad you liked it. Thanks for watching!
GREAT JOB SIR!!!
Just some ideas in case you run out -light tutorials. -base tutorials. -starting special attribute points -a fallout 4 lets play
Helpful vid, thank you! Where’d you get that much concrete though?
NakariShiro I wish I could remember, but it has been so long, I really do not recall. There are various vendors that sell it IIRC.
In the tunnel theres bags of concrete
thank u for that video it was very useful❤️👍
You are most welcome. Thanks for watching!
Thanks man!
extremely helpful thxs dude
+TheLegitPenguin 007008 You are quite welcome. Thanks for watching!

Glad to hear it. Thanks for watching!
FKING hell I've been trying to "repair" those walls x10000 times with the "pillar glitch" and what else I could think of.
And it just hit me, google that s***t and acutally find something that simply works.
Thanks a bunch!!!
yeah you get a sub from me mate.......brilliant video.....did it perfectly wit a ps pro ....thank you
Glad to hear it was helpful Sam. Thanks for watching and thanks for the sub, I really appreciate it!
