this is just a demonstration on how to replace the motor....not how to fix, yes as a whole you are fixing the fan but what we expect is some ground and up explanation or sort of diagnostic steps on how you come up with replacing the motor, perhaps the title does not match with what you intend to do.

this is not "how to fix/repar it" but rather "how to replace the motor!" stopped the video after I saw the new motor...
instead of more connections is better to open cover and connect direct to the switch

you could have used a shrinkable/shrinking tube...on that connection.. and yah.. d capacitor maybe is inside the switch box right?......you could have get rid of the whole old wirings and use the new one directly connected to the switch so it will not be messy as that......and it will really look better,.. just don't forget to put some or a lot of oil on the motor, stator and the booshing... dont worry .. the fan really needs it,. it will not cause u any trouble I even use olive oil on this... and it works fine...

Hi ,i just buy a stand fan but its regulator for revolving was not working properly,so I open the back portion of the fan,.But i accidentally the white part fall apart .Now my fan is still ,can you me with this?

The internal fuse blew because the motor bushings went dry, caused drag and increased the amps - hence blown fuse.
You have replaced the stator and wiring (new fuse) and it now works but the dry bushings are still there.
You could tell by the short spin down time that something still isn’t right.
Once the bushings heat up again with a little use, you’ll have a dead fan again.
False economy spending money on these dog shit quality modern fans.

This is a brushless motor. But not DC motor. This is a single phase AC motor. The wear and tear starts when the air-gap between Stator and Rotor becomes uneven. Also, the bearings may have become rough.
I keep buying new fan a bow fan stoped working fast now I have a tower Bonaire fan its not blowing, they are clean but not blowing air it spins too

If turning manually, does the fan turn easily or a bit of resistant? set high speed & try to turn manually. If it start to rotate it might b your start motor capacitor faulty. If it does not rotate at all , possible motor or fan controller. Hope this help
