Delto 2000 Opposite for me. TWT hasn't arrived in Australia yet so I haven't played it personally, but AO Tennis is too hard! The ball is really slow and/or goes out if you mistime a shot and it shouldn't be like that!
I have got AO which is a good game. But i hate the markers which appear on the opposite side of the court when you are playing a stroke. I still enjoy the game. Do you think its worth it to get this game. Also is there something similar to get real players in like the academy in AO.
You can take off the marker on AO! I think if you're willing to accept there's some bugs at the moment with TWT, then get the game, if not - wait a few months until the game is more polished! There's nothing like the academy at present unfortunately!
Hey nice video. How do you deal with stamina consuption? I still can´t figure out how to win a point without charging every shot . "one touch" shots are always going to the middle with no direction. Any ideas?
Sprint is not the only thing that consumes Stamina. Even if I don´t run , 3 or 4 shots and I´m out of stamina (in carreer mode) . With pro players in exhibition I get a little more shots, but still consume all my stamina very fast. I can´t even beat the first guy in carreer mode cause on the first POINT (not game) I already lost all my stamina and my guy misses easy shots
Still don't understand why devs think making tennis games where both players end up rallying from no man's land to no man's land is realistic in any way whatsoever. Boggles my mind. Last tennis game that was actually realistic with ball physics, court physics, positioning, and player animations was fucking hot shots tennis on psp. Tilting af.

It was the controls and stiff gameplay that i originally didnt like. I don't have any issues with latest build of WTT.

Like if the AI is to my right, I want to hit it at his left coz I want to get points right? But whenever I'm hitting the ball it's just going straight to the AI. I want to make him run! Please help me brother.

TWO YEARS?! We've been waiting over half a decade since the last tennis game was released in 2011 on the last gen consoles. You'd think they would have listened and and found out what players wanted by now. I was really excited about this game and was even considering getting a current gen console but glad I didn't. Hopefully the patches can improve the game.
What really grinds me is that ridiculous shot they play which is like a half volley, but from just inside the baseline. (The movement into revovery positing moving backwards seems to be an issue here) And every player seems to stand like Djokovic does when in their ready position. Looks silly. Struggling to find what's good about this game!
Just started the game. Was looking through some UA-cam videos, but I'm struggling with an opponents serve. It seems like they just hit aces the whole time against me. Is there a way of predicting what side they are going to serve. Because I can't seem to get that right. He serves right, I go left. Any advice?
It really depends what you want, do you want an instant game that’s fixed through lots of patches, or do you want a game that is still broken and in need of patches
Every time I see your player take a full swing off a forehand volley I die a little inside. It's not above your shoulders, and you aren't behind the service line. Luckily it doesn't seem to happen every time.
I have played with neither of these games so far, but based on the reviews, videos I have watched, I like AO much more than this game. I prefer AO's game play to this one and I think the players move much smoother in that game. I missed the commentary from it but it sounds very monotonous in TWT to me so it's not a huge miss in AO anymore. I think I will go for AO. Thank you for making this video though.

I thought ao tennis was bad,this one is is just worse,commentary of John mcenroe is so monotonous and at times comments are out of sync to gameplay like great serve but it might have been a great backhand winner, the a.I player never hit unforced errors,only double faults,background noise is continuos of sirens lol,lighting is not not the best as ball can sometimes be lost on courts,although I do like the card skill and points skill sytem for the career,but the aces hit by Ai puts you into automatic run dummy mode lol.I found that very arcade play and cheap corner cutting by devs,runn to net game gets confused if you are hitting a volley and goes in to its auto run shuffle mode and just runs over/past the ball.I would be happy with at least some contact getting to net even if the ball hits the net,oh and scrolling through coaches o agents doesnt stay fixed to read about rhem,you would have to fire to hire to read,such bullshit

I just bought it cause I’m actually a tennis player and fan. This is the worst tennis game ever. I’m not sure what the developers mindset was with creating this. Tennis players and fans deserve better. This is a disgrace. No online play which was the biggest down side of any sports game. The players look like cartoon characters. Year of 2020
It's so bad. You can barely move your players left to right properly and shot directing is almost non existent. Next Gen games have been the worst in history for consoles.

I really don't know! I only use the sprint button when absolutely necessary - hope that helps?!

I just bought it cause I’m actually a tennis player and fan. This is the worst tennis game ever. I’m not sure what the developers mindset was with creating this. Tennis players and fans deserve better. This is a disgrace. No online play which was the biggest down side of any sports game. The players look like cartoon characters. Year of 2020
It's so bad. You can barely move your players left to right properly and shot directing is almost non existent. Next Gen games have been the worst in history for consoles.
