I think he narrated a couple of other stories over the seasons
I highly recommend “the mighty Boosh” show if you haven’t seen it, he’s definitely one of my favorite characters

absolutely hysterical version of how it happened, but mary shelley had also just lost her first child and that was a huge impact on the creation of frankenstein tbh. i appreciate the story-within-a-story way this is filmed, tho, very mary shelley of them.

Victor Frankenstein is the father of the monster he created, givingit his last name. So yes Frankenstein is the monster too.
When I was a teenager we moved to a very small town, as in there were only 49 students in my graduating class. That October, I was a "performer" in the local haunted house, formerly ye old town hall/courthouse. It was 99% teenagers 1% responsible adult. We really enjoyed ourselves, not only did it keep us off the streets.....street 🤔. We were also paid with the finest cheeseburgers' free tickets to the haunted house could bribe.
On my way home one night, still wearing my straight jacket and a cheeseburger in each hand, I saw something completely unexpected. The local volunteer firefighters, as well as our entire police force, all 2 of them were in a rather spirited discussion. It went, FF: Nope, that's your job.
PD: No way, it's your job
FF: This is a crime scene
PD: Only if the owners report it stolen
FF: It's a road hazard and improper disposal
PD: Aren't you guys supposed to do hazmat cleanup for toxic spills
FF: For f**** sake, it's only an outhouse and it's old, whatever s*** was there, dried up and blew away like 50 years ago.
PD: I'm still sure its in your job description
FF: Only if the a**holes who dropped it here set it on fire
It went on like this for another 10 minutes until one of them suggested throwing a lasso around it to drag it away. When I left, they were arguing who got to do the job. Both sides insisted they could do it better and who had the longest rope.
