What i really like about Percy, and what i feel like the show can't really convey is that Taliesin didn't know about Orthax and it's hold over Percy. The dark messed up stuff he did was PERCY'S decision. The show kind of makes it seem more like he's being controlled but really at the end of the day Orthax never took control out of Percy's hands he just quietly encouraged him.
that is what good roleplaying is like. When you go for a flaw, and your story involves the possibility of being possessed, or controlled, or influenced... the Player just going for the messed up stuff without prompt

But deep down you'll know that the worst thing the entity did was tell tell you it's ok to do what you wanted to do anyway. They didn't make you, you wanted to.

And in a meta sense, he _cannot_ in good conscience blame the demon for his actions pertaining to it, because even retroactively he’s certain he made those decisions of his own will (because effectively, he did).
Honestly that's what happens when you are that intimately involved in a project. Percy isn't just *a* character he happened to voice but *his* character.
Taliesin is hands down my favourite member. Dude puts in 110% in everything. I want to see the Might Nein animation, I feel Liam and Taliesin would kill it like they always do
Things that gave me chills in this video: The hammer clicks lining up The barrel turns lining up, specifically where hes casually cycling through the names Reloading ALSO lining up, and the gun spin, okay just the WHOLE part! Window crash. just yes Vex (i think that was Vex) calling out his name!
Also after the background voice says "metronome" you can hear Percy's gun clicking every couple beats of the metronome from the song which was a nice touch.
After watching this for what feels like the thousandth time, I realize after the line "I assure you I am in control." (1:20)There is not a single moment where Percy is in control. Beautiful.

Can I just say the Percy casually flipping the barrel, clicking through the names, is quite chilling? Idk, maybe just the casualness of planning multiple people's murders is somewhat unnerving to me. That it's a calming technique for him, that he's so used to planning their murders that revenge has made him borderline psychopathic.
This was already mind-blowing, and then you decided to have one of the "bangs" perfectly timed with Percy *almost* shooting Vax in the face and I got goosebumps all over
I just saw this on Tumblr and absolutely lost my mind. You synced the audio so well to the beat of the song and you manage to tell the story so well through the mixture of dialogue and lyrics. This is so well done and I'm in LOVE with it.
Damn now that I think about it, I can understand Vax's aggression more now when it's in animated form and you put the episodes together. 10 episodes of Percy being a crazed murderer, nearly trying to kill them, and then only 2-3 episodes go by before he literally causes his sister's death. I wouldn't trust him either!

Also, kind of makes me want to see an alternate reality spinoff where percy gave into the demon and becomes the BBEG. HGBDJDBJFNK THIS IS SO COOL!! I already love this song, and it was AWESOME to hear how it was incorporated! The sound effects in the beginning were SO cool, and I absolutely love the way you put the sounds of the gun going off to the beat! Hearing the dialogue from the show was also a really neat touch, and you did a good job with the volume levels to make sure it was understandable. Aaaa and the scenes you chose were great too! That timing was incredible. I could listen to this over and over again. Amazing job! Edit: This is like my fourth time watching it and it’s still so good. That last shot at the end is so chilling, especially knowing what the last shot in that episode led to.

Just recently finished watching TLoVM and I LOVE IT!!! I absolutely fell in love with Percy de Rolo! The person who introduced me to this show along with the Critical Role stream said that Percy is a fan favorite and I absolutely understand why! ❤Taliesen Jaffe did an excellent job writing and playing his character.
Mechanically, he was all gunslinger that took the feat "Magic Initiate" to just get 3 spells from the warlock list; Minor Illusion, Friends, and Hex. If he'd kept the demon/gun maybe later he would have leaned more into warlock, or if he wanted to max out gunslinger I'm sure the DM would have found ways of still incorporating it

I'm so glad my son found this and showed it to me. Percy is his favorite member of Vox Machina and Taliesin is his third favorite actor on the show. Liam is first snce he played Gaara and Travis is second because of Roy Mustang.
THIS IS SO FIRE OMG!!! THE GUN SYNC UPS TO THE BEAT!! The only complaint I had was the beginning, the introduction of briarwoods could have been synced up better and feels odd to have "metronome" play over it.
