Nice to see a Lynx with a Leyland TL11 engine. Wish I knew they were around when I visited the previous year. I've only ridden a Cummins one in Sydney's south west suburbs back in 93.
Strange now seeing those blue liveried vehicles of Metrobus in a sea of red. I remember them in the Eltham area in about 2004 before conformity was enforced.
Don't you mean Metroline? Metrobus is the model of some of the red buses. London was the only city to retain regulation and it worked out much better. All manner of colours just looked wrong in London. Even 80% minimum red across the board was a vast improvement.
I don't think I've ever seen a bus in London with exterior graffiti. 🤔 How rundown the Metrobuses look compared with the only a year or two newer Olympians.

Another fine upload from THE JON HARRY COLLECTION 👍👍👍 nice tram action in there. Looks like 2546 had too much action...

@@jamesfrench7299 Possibly! Cheers. Though I swear I have also seen a company called Metrobus running all-over red buses in South London.
@@ccjelley2390 you may be right. So many companies have operated in and around London since London Buses was sold off in 1994.
It is metrobus with the blue and yellow livery. Based out of green street green depot
I do like the Tramlink since it was first built and I’ve been on it many times before. Been to Croydon and it’s very busy as usual.
Shows the demand is there but still refuse to build another.
Tram 2551 there 2:17 was the one involved in the 2016 derailment
I didn't know that....was it withdrawn after?....
@@SoiBuakhaoRoutemasterbus yes, it was written off.
Clearly before both the 54 and 130 were cut back.

What's with that non standard grills?
I don't like them.
South London was rife with graffiti merchants at the time.
