i’m interested in your thoughts/advice about playing bass without a drummer. I’m playing in a duo with a keyboard player who sings. I’m using a few tenth chords and a bit of gentle slapping and it’s an interesting learning experience to cover the rhythm that a drummer usually provides and also some of the harmony that a guitar usually gives.
@@bocobocoboco Hi Michael. Thanks for the question and it's on my list to do a video on how to play along with other musicians! Seems like you've got things under control with playing with your keyboard player. From a more simple point of view, without the drummer, if you make sure to keep a steady beat on the 1 and the 3 and you can also play the 16th notes before those 1 and 3 beats. At a more advanced level, you could try some tips from the excellent video ua-cam.com/video/hkOPzsmGjUE/v-deo.html&loop=0
Dear Tom I just got an eko mm600, know I have always wanted to play most instrument real but I'll just say I have been injured, just getting fixed point, and I'm still need something's, but I also need to get to 30 lbs of pressure, so may message you after that and watching allot thank. You for being precise. 4:10
@@Guitartomguitar cheers big fella, if you can work your magic with any one of them it’s be super appreciated Your vids are great balance between practical demonstrations and visual guides Having someone explain something Whilst showing sheet music is so much more effective than just one or the other Looking forward to seeing what you put out there next
Tom are you coming back?
