Honestly, one of the coolest fishing videos I've watched in a while. The whole rigged flying fish/kite is all the awesome. This is 100% a Bucket List trip
Thank you so much to coming to California. It was enjoyable to hear people compliment where I live. I could name so many places in this videos its exciting.
FLY HIGH COOL!!!!! AWESOME EXPERIENCE TO WATCH....Thanks for the kick ass video brothers...❤👍 I had a bad accident and am now handicapped, stuck in bed, watching awesome videos like this one! You brought back some great memories for me, about 10 years back! You made my day! Lovin it....Big smiles!!!! 6 hours later with my eyes closed can smell salt water??? How freaking cool....thx again

When you pan the rice the night before, don’t compress-leave it fluffed in the pan. That’s all-what a beautiful video-my mouth started watering when you filleted the fish!!! Outstanding❤
What an awesome show! Thank you for this very professional, informative and exciting video. You both did so well. Brooke is an inspiration for me! As a woman, it’s so nice to see other women passionate about fishing. To you both, it’s great to see the 2 of you making the most out of your lives. 😊❤️
Vik and Brooke, this video is outstanding! That West coast Bluefin fishery is unreal. I can’t wait to see you take the new boat to get Yellowfin. The C.C.C. looked so good!!!! Well done guys! Stay safe out there.
One of the nice things about living in San Diego is people tend to share their fish catch. When you come home with 20-50 lbs of fish it’s pretty impossible to eat it all yourself (especially tuna) so we tend to give it away or throw dinner parties. I love fish but I’m not a huge fan of full day trip fishing excursions. I’m more of a bring-the-sides kind of guy and when that’s your role you better not skimp and you better be ready to do some dishes after the meal is over. I’ve never been to Alaska for a fishing trip but that always seems to be a huge windfall when friends or family get home, now you’re talking hundreds of pounds of halibut and lingcod which are two of my favorites
I watch all your videos but it’s always special when you come out to the west coast to fish in my backyard. These bluefin popped up here in SoCal in 2016 and seemed to have never left. Thanks for taking us along your amazing adventure! Tight lines!
Once again another awesome video. Dennis straight killed it with all his camera work, y'all killed it on the rods and the kitchen always makes me hungry. Keep it all coming

Incredible videography from Dennis but the cooking portion of the video blew me away. Cook clean catch doesn’t get better than the videos you put out, Vik!
Thank you for finally coming to nor cal. I got addicted when I had crabbing trips every year. Then I caught my first tuna out of Berkeley. Now I'm in Bor cal fishing only for the biggest steelhead.
Vik, really like your content change ups, from lobster to scallops to Tuna;s, great footage and comments on baits, prep, and catchin the beast! Hi Brook, don't think I'll forget you all snuggled up, us Floridians can;t take that cold and swift temp changes.

Nice catch in an amazing environment. It's magical out there! Loved the gourmet finale too, that wagyu belly part is unbelievable! Just missed one ingredient we cannot do without: wasabi! But I saw you secretly put a little on that last roll there...
Great video catching Big Tuna off Long Beach. i grew up in the South Bay of California. And lived in Key Largo Florida from 1977 to 1980 Before moving back to the South Bay . We fished every day and loved it . GREAT time in my Life.

I never go fishing or I actually cannot stand eating fish but, I love your videos and the food always makes me wish I ate fish. I'm British and often work in Texas and Louisiana offshore, maybe I should go on a fishing trip!
I want to tell you about cooking Kingfish from frozen. I cook them covered completely in orange juice. Bake them and tell they’re just tender drain the orange juice off and then brace them or on high broiler covered with butter and garlic. You’d be amazed how the orange juice makes the fish so much better.
Have a look at John's channel "the fish locker" he catches tuna a bit larger than this on his own in a tiny boat. He is a fantastic angler and you guys should try to do a Collab as he takes trips to the states. All your skills and his would surely make for a fantastic video. Well done all of you.
You have to fry the rice right out of the fridge so that the center takes longer to cook because its as cold as it can be without being frozen. Also starting from a rippin hot pan will get the crunch on the outside faster without cooking through so the center can be fluffier.
I purchase all of my Daiwa slow pitch reels from Japan. They have models that aren't sold in the USA that IMO are heads above the US equipment. As long as you stay below $1,000, there is no import duty. Most of the vendors use DHL for shipping, so on average it takes 4-5 days from order to delivery. Viktor, now you need to add some large pearl tapioca for making Bubble Tea. It's just a matter of time that battery technology improves, allowing you to use a drone or wired aircraft to act as your kite.
DAYUM SON!!! Those flying fish are perfect eating size!!! If you've never had butterflied pan fried flying fish you need to try it. So damn tasty!!! Just ask anyone from Barbados or who has ever been there. 😉
