I wholeheartedly agree with the conclusion of this topic....HOWEVER, even speaking about it brings incredible anger and concern that I have been deceived! My hubby simply cannot tolerate me speaking a word about it... which I rarely ever do. Nothing will change in the hearts of family unless YHVH reveals it to them. Until then...I don't know how to handle it.

I quit following the holidays of man four years ago. It took my wife nearly a year to realize why we should not be celebrating these religious holidays that man has created. That first year she did a Christmas tree and had a party having friends over I just did not participate. Thing like nativity scenes and wreaths I asked her out of respect for me to not put them up. Told her if Christmas was more important to her than my walk with my Father I could move out for a few days if she could not meet me half way. She started to research and the next year quit doing these holidays as well.

Yes, many that go to church every time the doors, are open. Celebrate these false pagan holidays. They go to seen by others, and don’t have a real relationship with the Lord. One of the facts of History also is that the Gregorian calendar and the scriptural calendar are two seperate methods of keeping time. One starts with the new moon which has no relation to the international date line and the other ignore the day known as New Moon day and does not count it in its procession.
You better read the book of macabees because even in there they speak of them profaning on the 25th day of December. Called them heatens and speaks of them waking up early to offer sacrifices on their alter and having music and dance and other things. That’s pretty clear what day it is and what the heatens did!

I have studied God's word about 3 years ago in inersty and found that so many preachers had lued about even the Sabbwth day that we grew ip with, hence my understanding that nowhere Gid had changed the Sabbath day from Saturday to Sunday, which Sunday is also a pagan day fir worship. Regarding this I gave also studied to see when Jesus was born and nowhete ever was nentioned that He was born on "Christmas" day and to celwbeate it. I was sent here by a friend. We each follow our own path, and I appreciate that you are shining a light on yours. Interesting video and historical information. But, in essence, there is nothing inherently wrong with celebrating the holidays as they stand, because no harm is being done to anyone who does. In truth, we have no way of knowing what Jesus Christ thinks of celebrating his birth in the first place, or the birth of any important historical figure. One must consider if he even has thoughts about it. What does it matter if they folded pagan and other elements of past celebrations into the celebration of Christmas? IMHO, it enhances the beautiful message of the season and it's that Christmas is a celebration of the birth of Christ and more importantly, GOD's promise of redemption. Thank you for posting!

I am an atheist. This is very interesting because this is exactly what us atheists and agnostics have been saying for decades. We have always thought it was silly how Christians say that December 25th is the birthday of Jesus when it was obviously just a day chosen by early church leaders to try to replace pre-existing non-Christian traditions. But we don’t believe in satan and don’t believe there was any evil being causing this to happen. We just see it as the way customs and traditions evolve. It is not just Christmas. All our customs have origins in early European customs. It is just the way customs work. Also we see paganism and Christianity as both being equally untrue so we really don’t care either way. Personally I don’t see any harm in Christians combining Christian and non-Christian traditions in their celebrations, but we will leave that to you believers to sort out for yourselves. I just don’t think you will get very far in changing such firmly entrenched traditions.

The Historian Josephus documented that destruction which killed more than a million Jewish men, women and children. Josephus also wrote about the resurrection of Jesus. Prophecies of the Bible are still being fulfilled today, though the last book (Revelation) was written some 2000 years ago. Check out Revelation chapters 13 and 11, which couldn't be fulfilled until this generation. Is it a coincidence that Israel became a Nation again in 1948 after being exiled from the land in 70AD. I think not, but implore you to continue searching for the truth, and finding eternal life that the Son of God offers to all that Believe in His death, burial and Resurrection. Peace...

Thank you, thank you, thank you. A million thankyous brother for this. Every year I feel like a weirdo because I am the only person I know who feels this way about Christmas. I haven't kept Christmas for 11 years and am so frustrated because it is absolutely the hardest thing to extract yourself from. No matter how much you refuse people will not let you. Recently I learned that a green tree is mentioned 11 times in Scripture though we may not know for sure that each one was an evergreen many times reading the scripture around the scriptures will show us that they were definitely around cooler times of the year when likely the only green trees present would be the Evergreens, and every single one of these is a warning to not partake in the Heathen ways. The Bible says there's nothing new Under the sun, so therefore history just keeps repeating as we hear so often even nowadays that history repeats and repeats, so why is it so unbelievable that use of the Evergreen started way back in the beginning and has continued till today although it may look different it is no different. The most high, Our Father in Heaven says to take nothing and make it for Him and I'm sure that that would include taking something and making it for Christ.

No one needs someone to know the truth. Study the scriptures and find his birth was about the end of September during Sukkot, feast of tabernacles. Born in the tower of the Flock, were sacrificial lambs were born and rapped in Swaddling cloth, just as Messiah was in the "the manger" birthing suite of the lambs. I did my thesis on college about "the truth" about Martin Luther, black plaque , Catholic rule and how it effected music, art and the break down of it all! Changed my life and why I became a Jehovah's witness!
This is a really excellent video - well put together, interesting and informative - I learnt so much - I already knew a few bits and pieces but this teaching has enabled me to piece together the full picture of what Christmas is really about and it's confirming the suspicions I already had. My problem now is how do I talk to my church about it without upturning and spoiling the cosy, happy family Christmas traditions that they like to perpetuate, which are really nothing to do with the real Jesus they are supposed to be serving.
You know, every thing before Jesus was paganism and the old ways, Christians ✝️ are not fools, we study the Bible, and we know the scripture that says God uses what was meant for evil God uses for good, we pray to God the father, son and Holy spirit, God sees the Heart ❤️ not outside appearances, God knows everything 🙏 ❤️
Our Christian world is completely swept away by false teachings and man made doctrines or church traditions. Without following the Ten Commandments of GOD JEHOVAH, majority Christians in the world follow man made doctrines or church traditions especially the Roman Catholic Church. So painful to see. Christians should literally follow the Word of GOD JEHOVAH, the Bible and not man made doctrines or church traditions. Hallelujah. Amen.
The fact is that a lot of christians don't want the truth, they like to be in that comfort zone following tradition because they are so used to it and be in the majority rather than be in those small group who truly believe God the way he wants us to
This is a great video and study, as well as a great tool to share even better than the original I seen from way back in the day that used to be offered on DVD but I can't seem to find available. I've tried to reach out and see about it but never received the answer and just assumed that it may partially belong to the church he used to belong to nonetheless this one was just as informative and I think much better and there's nothing wrong with repetition of the truth and facts. I have been trying to reach out to Jim Staley's Ministry for nearly a year now as I live in Pennsylvania and I'm unable to find any place of worship that teaches against Christmas or any of the other things I've come to believe, but they must be really busy as I never hear back. Life can be tough when you know that God is guiding you but still would like to have other people to talk to to make sure you're understanding things correctly, or make sure you're not reading into things that shouldn't be there I hold close to all of my new convictions pertaining to God's word, this country, and the world in general, but it was still be nice to hear a man who leads a Ministries opinion on matters. Unfortunately there's only been two and I've even considered wanting to hear their opinions and thoughts, but again unfortunately I don't hear back. As a woman without a head in my life relying strictly on Christ as my head I get worried sometimes, but I guess I shouldn't because Yeshua does not disappoint and never lets us down. Prayers of blessings and protection to all my sisters and brothers worldwide, especially Jim Staley that his ministry continue to grow and that God continue to leave him down the correct path through faith in Yeshua all offered in the mighty name of yeshua, our Lord and savior and king of kings, amen! It was never about about "the calender" nor have real Christians been worshipping "Santa Claus" or "the 25th Dec". If you have it's YOU THAT NEEDS to change - not the abrogation of either Christmas Day or the marking of Christ's arrival into the world. (aka Christmas)
Right! Celebrate in january for all I care, nothing changes when you change the day. And 'Santa Claus' used to be on december 5th/6th, to comemorate saint Nicholas, who gave gifts to the poor after supposedly inhereting alot of money. Take the date and santa away and you still have christmass😅

This might be a really stupid question but I think that star is on the LDS Salt Lake City temple and church next to it. Was it ever a good sign? I agree... but even that is met with anger and my thoughts are consequently trapped inside my heart. I am not a divisive, combative person, so this is very difficult as it is expected that I attend Church. I have to trust that YHVH understands my situation.
I quit following the holidays of man four years ago. It took my wife nearly a year to realize why we should not be celebrating these religious holidays that man has created. That first year she did a Christmas tree and had a party having friends over I just did not participate. Thing like nativity scenes and wreaths I asked her out of respect for me to not put them up. Told her if Christmas was more important to her than my walk with my Father I could move out for a few days if she could not meet me half way. She started to research and the next year quit doing these holidays as well.

Yes, many that go to church every time the doors, are open. Celebrate these false pagan holidays. They go to seen by others, and don’t have a real relationship with the Lord. How does one glorify the Lord through paganism? "Christians" make no difference between the holy and the profane. They commit the same errors as did the Israelites before them.

I’m not arguing; simply stating what the Holy Spirit has shown. History shows that Jesus was born during The Feast of Tabernacles. December the 25th can be traced back to the birth of Nimrod. We

One of the facts of History also is that the Gregorian calendar and the scriptural calendar are two seperate methods of keeping time. One starts with the new moon which has no relation to the international date line and the other ignore the day known as New Moon day and does not count it in its procession.
You better read the book of macabees because even in there they speak of them profaning on the 25th day of December. Called them heatens and speaks of them waking up early to offer sacrifices on their alter and having music and dance and other things.
That’s pretty clear what day it is and what the heatens did!
"Oh come let us adore Him, Christ the Lord." Like the angels did on the day of Jesus' Birth. Later on, and in fact, let this sink in, that was not on Jesus' birthday, the wise men came and brought their precious gifts. Merry Christmas everybody! Let nobody take away this joyful celebration.

Good day. What an awesome teaching! I have studied God's word about 3 years ago in inersty and found that so many preachers had lued about even the Sabbwth day that we grew ip with, hence my understanding that nowhere Gid had changed the Sabbath day from Saturday to Sunday, which Sunday is also a pagan day fir worship. Regarding this I gave also studied to see when Jesus was born and nowhete ever was nentioned that He was born on "Christmas" day and to celwbeate it. I was sent here by a friend. We each follow our own path, and I appreciate that you are shining a light on yours. Interesting video and historical information. But, in essence, there is nothing inherently wrong with celebrating the holidays as they stand, because no harm is being done to anyone who does. In truth, we have no way of knowing what Jesus Christ thinks of celebrating his birth in the first place, or the birth of any important historical figure. One must consider if he even has thoughts about it. What does it matter if they folded pagan and other elements of past celebrations into the celebration of Christmas? IMHO, it enhances the beautiful message of the season and it's that Christmas is a celebration of the birth of Christ and more importantly, GOD's promise of redemption. Thank you for posting!

I am an atheist. This is very interesting because this is exactly what us atheists and agnostics have been saying for decades. We have always thought it was silly how Christians say that December 25th is the birthday of Jesus when it was obviously just a day chosen by early church leaders to try to replace pre-existing non-Christian traditions. But we don’t believe in satan and don’t believe there was any evil being causing this to happen. We just see it as the way customs and traditions evolve. It is not just Christmas. All our customs have origins in early European customs. It is just the way customs work. Also we see paganism and Christianity as both being equally untrue so we really don’t care either way. Personally I don’t see any harm in Christians combining Christian and non-Christian traditions in their celebrations, but we will leave that to you believers to sort out for yourselves. I just don’t think you will get very far in changing such firmly entrenched traditions.

Check out Revelation chapters 13 and 11, which couldn't be fulfilled until this generation. Is it a coincidence that Israel became a Nation again in 1948 after being exiled from the land in 70AD. I think not, but implore you to continue searching for the truth, and finding eternal life that the Son of God offers to all that Believe in His death, burial and Resurrection. Peace...

I haven't kept Christmas for 11 years and am so frustrated because it is absolutely the hardest thing to extract yourself from. No matter how much you refuse people will not let you. Recently I learned that a green tree is mentioned 11 times in Scripture though we may not know for sure that each one was an evergreen many times reading the scripture around the scriptures will show us that they were definitely around cooler times of the year when likely the only green trees present would be the Evergreens, and every single one of these is a warning to not partake in the Heathen ways. The Bible says there's nothing new Under the sun, so therefore history just keeps repeating as we hear so often even nowadays that history repeats and repeats, so why is it so unbelievable that use of the Evergreen started way back in the beginning and has continued till today although it may look different it is no different. The most high, Our Father in Heaven says to take nothing and make it for Him and I'm sure that that would include taking something and making it for Christ.

No one needs someone to know the truth. Study the scriptures and find his birth was about the end of September during Sukkot, feast of tabernacles. This is a really excellent video - well put together, interesting and informative - I learnt so much - I already knew a few bits and pieces but this teaching has enabled me to piece together the full picture of what Christmas is really about and it's confirming the suspicions I already had. This is a great video and study, as well as a great tool to share even better than the original I seen from way back in the day that used to be offered on DVD but I can't seem to find available. I've tried to reach out and see about it but never received the answer and just assumed that it may partially belong to the church he used to belong to nonetheless this one was just as informative and I think much better and there's nothing wrong with repetition of the truth and facts. I have been trying to reach out to Jim Staley's Ministry for nearly a year now as I live in Pennsylvania and I'm unable to find any place of worship that teaches against Christmas or any of the other things I've come to believe, but they must be really busy as I never hear back. Life can be tough when you know that God is guiding you but still would like to have other people to talk to to make sure you're understanding things correctly, or make sure you're not reading into things that shouldn't be there I hold close to all of my new convictions pertaining to God's word, this country, and the world in general, but it was still be nice to hear a man who leads a Ministries opinion on matters. Unfortunately there's only been two and I've even considered wanting to hear their opinions and thoughts, but again unfortunately I don't hear back.
