To be honest, Obi-Wan didn't try all that hard to appeal to Anakin back in the movie. He already wrote Anakin off as a traitor and didn't even plead for him to tell him why he did it. All he could do was condemn Anakin and then say "Anakin my allegiance is to the Republic, to democracy!", knowing full well that the democracy that he and many of the Jedi tied themselves to showed itself to be corrupt because of Palpatine.

@Dojindori Yes, but Anakin wasn't all that far gone just yet. All Obi-Wan did was push Anakin further into darkness. Not to mention that after finding out what Anakin did, Obi-Wan pleaded with Yoda to send him to fight Palpatine and said he can't kill Anakin. Notice he said, "Kill Anakin". He was already going to kill Anakin.
Also, with all that brother talk that kept on saying before, Obi-Wan was pretty quick to throw that out on Mustafar. Had it been Qui-Gon teaching Anakin and he was in this position, Qui-Gon would have tried to appeal to the Jedi he knew and trained, not the Sith Lord that he had yet to become. There is even an article by Star Wars confirming that Qui-Gon would have saved Anakin from the Dark Side. But in a way, that kind of thing happens in ROTJ, with Luke appealing to Anakin Skywalker, not Darth Vader.
Also noticed how obi wan activated his lightsaber first and didn’t even try to understand the lies the Jedi were telling… that palpatine used to manipulate anakin

Anakin had done something so horrible and unforgivable. Obi wan couldn’t continue to blindly a-quit Anakin of his selfishness and cruel deeds at the temple .
@@satinekenobi4ver855 he couldn’t a-quit Anakin of his cruel deeds…. Yet they were pissed with Anakin for killing Dooku who was responsible for multiple Jedi, soldier, and civilian deaths. They went to palpatine with the intentions of arresting him.
The council even goes over how bad it is to leave Anakin around Palp, but still do it. Palp tells anakin the Jedi want to take over. Mace and Yoda contemplate it then Mace tells palp they’re taking power from him (check).
Mace repeats the same thing as Palp “ he’s to dangerous to be kept alive.” Anakin suggests he be arrested after being punished for Dooku. Mace continues against the Jedi code that he just reprimanded anakin for days prior.
Wants anakin to get over attachments. Yet they use obi wans fake death to provoke his emotions that come with attachments. The council even tried to use his padawan as a scapegoat.
Then you get to Anakin vs Obi Wan. Padme tries to talk him down… obi wan ruins it causing Anakin to react out of fear and anger. They are having a conversation and Obi Wan ignites his lightsaber that anakin hadn’t even touched yet. On the lava they are talking “ I was told the Jedi are evil.” Obi wans reply “was you’re lost”…He didn’t even try to de-escalate the situation, which is the job of the Jedi.
Meanwhile the Jedi had been showing anakin they were corrupt. I mean no one’s perfect, but the shit they would do or say sometimes would make me question them too
What if Grievous died on the Invisible Hand?
Obi wan wouldn’t of been sent to Utapau, so depending on where he was sent instead, it could have some serious impacts on the story

Obi-Wan Kenobi: He wouldn't need to zip over to Utapau to square off with Grievous, right? So, he might have been sent on a whole different adventure, or maybe given a completely different task.
That switch-up could have had some major repercussions for Anakin Skywalker. Imagine if Obi-Wan was hanging out in Coruscant instead of being in Utapau? He might have been able to guide Anakin better, possibly even stopping him from turning into Darth Vader.
Order 66: This whole plan hinged on Grievous' downfall, so if Grievous exited the scene earlier, the order might have been rushed forward, shaking up the Jedi survival odds.
Palpatine's own scheming: Grievous was a key chess piece in his game, a crucial tool for stirring up trouble between the Republic and the Separatists. If he lost Grievous, his plans would've likely needed some serious tweaking, possibly shifting the direction of the Clone Wars and the rise of the Empire.
This is all just scratching the surface, though. The ripple effects from Grievous' early demise on the Invisible Hand could have changed countless other aspects of the Star Wars saga.

Impossible. Anakin would stay at her side, too scared to lose her because of his vision, and even if he leave, he always sensed when danger is close to Padmé. He would have sense it coming. This Fan Theory did not respect Anakin's ability and way of acting, nothing of that would have happened. Also, how did Palpatine Knew the exact l'occasion ? I mean, he is powerful, he would have find out, but that was to quickly to be possible.

Absolutely. Kathleen Kennedy even considers Rey as the most powerful Jedi of all time. Apparently she's not looked too much into the real Skywalker name. That's all Disney is good for is destroying what was once great legacies and replacing them with people that are supposedly more powerful than them, but we don't give a thought about because of the direction of the story with terrible directors.
@Daniel Keller wouldn't say thay much, disney is a very well rounded and strong Character. She worked hard for what she has and she suffered....

He was slaughtering the younglings lol 😂 but in all seriousness the clones wouldn't have attacked him because palpatine specifically put on order 66 that Anakin would not be considered a jedi when activated so the clones would most likely still acknowledge there general while they purge the temple

If Padme had lived, she would have definitely supported the rebellion behind Vaders back.
Probably not. She was selfish like Anakin in many ways. She will be absolutly on his side, she was accepted most of his bad things.
I don't believe so, since if Padmé lived, it would imply that Anakin didn't break her heart by force-strangling her. She would've convinced him to just run away with her out of sight and out of mind. That was actually the most likely outcome until Anakin saw Obi-Wan had come with Padmé. Don't forget that Anakin turned to the Dark Side for the sole purpose of saving Padmé. One often meets his destiny on the road he takes to avoid it.
Not behind his back, she would have done that in front of his face. But to be honest, if she lives through childbirth, Anakin would have killed Palpatine and turned back to the light side

After all, when she got to Mustafar she was like "Obi wan said you killed a bunch of kids" and like 30 seconds later was like "Come away with me, all I want is your love." Chick was majorly codependent and would've completely accepted anything Anakin did. I mean, she accepted his decimation of that clan of Tuskan Raiders by telling him "To be angry is to be human". Lol. Imagine that IRL... you tell some hot chick you're into that you killed a bunch of men, women, and children because you believe they had something to do with your mom's death. And then imagine that she responds with "Well, to be angry is to be human". 🤣🤣🤣

I always wondered how Sidious planned on controlling Anakin before Mustafar. Anakin’s injuries made it so much easier. He had to have known that Anakin would eventually surpass him and try to overthrow him, such is the rules of the Sith.
He was planning on taking over his body, probably right when Anakin/Vader strikes the Emperor down.
I think Palpatine wanted Vader to take his position, as he said "Lord Vader will become more powerful than either of us". Obviously after Mustafar, Palpatine deemed Vader too weak

@@bigevil1001 The canon seems to establish that he would have agreed with it. I think about Operation Cinder in Battlefront 2. Palpatine's orders were that, should he be killed, imperial planets would be destroyed because in his eyes, an Empire that didn't protect its ruler doesn't deserve to exist. The ONLY situation Operation Cinder wouldn't be activated is if his death was caused by Vader in an effort to take his place.
Good story. However, I don't think Padme would've wanted to stay with Anakin, given that he just murdered Obi-wan, became a Sith, betrayed the republic, and slaughtered younglings.

I Don't think padme would have known Anakin killed obi wan and for the younglings that's just something Obi wan has told her without any proof. After given birth none of that would even matter in the short term to padme all she would be thinking about is her babies.

Alternative title- What if Obi-wan didn't have plot armour. The guy should have been dead/ crippled 3 times. 1. In EP 1 Maul had a clear view of Kenobi and had extremely fast reflexes so Kenobi jumping vertically( passing right in front of Maul) would leave the assassin enough time to chop him in half 2. In RoTS Count Dooku brought an entire platform on him after knocking him uncontious which should have crushed his legs. 3. In RoTS, during his duel with Vader, Kenobi was clearly the weaker figher and should have lost even before the lava bank. Even if we were to assume that he somehow got the high ground Anakin/ Vader totally would have made that jump. He had more space to work with than Kenobi in EP 1 and we have seen him jump much bigger heights. To me, this should have been the true ending.
EDIT: On another note, there is no way in hell that Vader would leave Padme alone in the medical facility. He would constantly be around her and brutally murder Cad after torturing him for information. Upon learning who sent him he would begin planning his revenge and hide his family. He would possibly go back to Sidious and pretend nothing had happened. Maybe learn under him for a bit and then kill him in an epic duel.

Finally, it's refreshing to see someone with a rational take on this fight. Kenobi is most overrated plot shielded character in the entire series. He's always as strong as he needs to be. It's dumb.
Great video and I’m not trying to put hate on you but Kenobi definitely didn’t let his morals and emotions take over after their duel by leaving him on the Lava Bank to “live” he believes he died as is known after these events. What he should have done was take him back to Padme’s ship before he was burnt and saved him and turn him back like Qui Gon would have instead he lets him suffer more.

If it's possible, I would like to suggest an idea for a story.
So what if Padmé was a light force user but kept her abilities hidden until she was entered childbirth on Polis Massa. Feeling certain complications during the process and her own physical weakness, she start using the force to help the twins be born and strengthen herself physically; Obi-Wan and Yoda sensed this and immediately began hiding Padmé and the children in the Force from the Siths.

What if Anakin trained Grogu?
I loved this video, I would love for you to continue this video in a second part. I don't know if he would have approved the construction of the death star, perhaps if it had not passed as the emperor's fist and the risk of losing his role. Would there be a rebel alliance, and what would Yoda have done, hide on Dagobah?
According to the novelization, Anakin intended to kill Palpatine after he was done with Obi-Wan. Padme would've died from heartbreak. It's a toss up whether or not the children would die with her. Regardless, the Empire would've remained in power for a much longer time period.
i feel like anakin would have reflected on his actions after palpatines demise, and turn to the light, and the dark, using both sides without letting them control him. and also he could have just revived padme like with ahsoka.

Ahsoka wasn't revived. You can see her running down a tunnel leaving the Sith temple behind when she fought Vader. Ezra didn't know this happened and pulled her through the portal in the world between worlds. It's also loosely explained that Ezra was only able to pull her through the portal because her survival was a canon event.

It would probably turn out this way but tbh there’s no way that Yoda wouldn’t since Obi wans death and think things wouldn’t go horribly wrong because he’s still alive at this point.. Also because of that I think the story would change little bit. I think Yoda will sneak into the medical bay after Cad Bane left and take Luke and Leia sending Vader deeper into the dark side but I think he will end up taking Luke as his apprentice. As I think Luke will join him after Yoda telling Luke that he is his father, but Laia will end up as a Jedi because I think that was the fate, because in Empire strikes back Yoda says there is another and I think that has more meaning than we realize. So I think that is what would happen In this senario..
I also think Vader killing the Emperor would have him fight half of the empire, because the empire was behind the emperor and there no way and after fighting. I think Vader will change the new empire immediately instead of closer to the original trilogy idk that’s what what I think. Interesting what if though!

one problem I have is that Anakin shouldn't have hated Obiwan in this timeline, the Iconic "I HATE YOU" line was only after Obiwan defeated Anakin after mutilating his legs so it's perfectly possible Anakin might have spared Obiwan if he was victorious, if Anakin would have killed Obiwan anyway he would have likely felt shame and guilt not triumph

@@JustANervousWreck Obiwan was Anakins master for 20 years, by the late stages of the clone wars they had great relations and generally there was no bad blood between them, so if Anakin managed to disarm or heavily injure Obiwan why would Anakin kill him? Obiwan would have no threat to Anakin's final goal of saving Padme

What if asoka tano arrived to mustafar a few minutes after obi-wan kanobi does. Then mere seconds before anakin attacks obi-wan kanobi whose defending the high ground. Both asoka and padme decide to attempt to hold and stun anakin skywalker in mid jump hopefully they succed allowing for the fallen jedi turned sith to have a chance at redemption. What if Merrin was found by the Jedi and was the sister of Asajj Ventress? Maybe she would be given up by Talzin to Mace Windu to not have Merrin become like Asajj, becoming his padawan. Yellow or purple lightsabers would be awesome in duel wielding. She could be 3 years younger than Asajj. When Asajj is betrayed by Dooku, she heads back to Talzin and is given the same type of necklace she gave to Savage, messaging Merrin to the Coruscant underworld, unkowingly tailed by Master Windu. Both sisters defend Dathomir after failing to assassinate Dooku in exchange for Asajj's freedom. Could both sisters kill Grievous? How would this news affect Sidious?

Naaaahhh. Sideous isn't direct like that, plus Bane would have left too many witnesses. Additionally, keeping Padme alive keeps Anakin in his pocket it justifies his earlier comments about the dark side being the way to save her - as killing his former master and taking her to Naboo in this manner would have done so.
Would have been more interesting to see Anakin eventually supplant Sideous when Sid goes too far in after trying to poison their marriage and then attempting to corrupt his children - which would have been the final straw. Sideous would be doing this because I agree with another poster that Padme would be working with the rebellion. Thus putting Anakin in a tug of war/double agent situation.
