How is it that fans, novel authors, heck even games developers are doing far, far, far better job at creating Star Wars univers stories then filmmakers ?😲 That last trilogy was... I want to forget that I watch it😭

This is such a great theory and makes a lot of sense because while Dooku and Plagueis weren’t on the same page in many issues, they did share the sentiment of sharing power amongst the sith. I think that their partnership would work out well because there would be no betrayal attempts between them.
Exactly, Plagueis was very keen to recruit Dooku to their side of Sidious failed
@@FantasyFolklore Is this the same actor from the Darth Plagueis audio book? Congratulations for another great video and Happy New Year!😀
Great theory 👌🏽
@@FantasyFolklore Which means Dooku must of had a midichlorian count that was higher then Plagueis but not as high as Sidious while Mauls midichlorian count was lower then all of them yeah.
@@matthewmann8969 Did Sidious have a higher Midichlorian count than Plagueis? I didn't know something like this was officially stated, could you tell me where I can find it?
What if Dooku killed Yoda on Geonosis?
Maybe instead of dropping a pillar on Anakin and Obi Wan, he drops it on Yoda and attacks him while Yoda is holding it up with the Force
The question is why didn't he? He actually also had Yoda at his mercy, briefly, in a canon duel on Tatooine. That's right, Dooku tagged Yoda hard with Lightning and disarmed him.
I really like this altered story it came out so well and the voice acting was nice. Plagueis is not given enough credit love to see more on him and maybe some prior prequels leading up to the 3 prequel movies. If this story was cannon i would not minded that, thanks for this theory
I share the same trait that Anikan had when he learned that padma was killed😢.
PLAGUEIS IS SO TERRIFYING
Darth Plagueis’s understanding of the force is impressive and must be admired… If I could have the power of the force, I would try balance dark with light, achieving impressive power, like Plagueis, and virtuous patience, like the legendary jedi masters, like Yoda. I think this is the true nature of the force. The brightest lights cast the darkest shadows, so I would balance my light and dark to be the same shade.
Actually, after putting a bit of thought into it, I can implement this into my life in other ways… If you’re reading this, I believe you can achieve balance in your life and be happy and healthy. May the force be with you.
I think it was idiotic for Sidious to kill Plagueis. The dude would have literally made him immortal through Midichlorian manipulation. Plagueis had learned to do that himself already and was literally growing younger by using the method. He killed Plagueis even before learning to do that himself. That's why he grew to look like an old rotten potato at the end.
On one hand the potential to learn such a gift would make it beneficial to keep Plagueis alive, but the end result would be a Sith Lord incapable of dying.
Really, killing Plagueis when Sidious did was a calculated decision to prevent such an… obstacle.
That or Sidious couldn’t accept being an equal with another being.
Sidious states that he learned everything he needed to learn from his master. No more no less.
He also stated that he could bring his master back from the brink of death while he was electrocuting him by manipulating his midichlorians but he says “he’ll do no such thing” and wants to take Plagueis to deaths door and shove him threw it.
As for looking like a potato, its the toll the darkside takes on your body as that side of the force is not meant to used in a continuous manner. Darth Bane even notes the toll it takes on a mortal body as it can’t channel all that energy forever.
You can't expect an egomaniacal psychopath like Sidious to think beyond his obsession with being the only one at the top.
He didn't believe Plagueis could actually do it, he thought he was an ego maniac for believing he could do it.
The use of the dark side of the force erodes you, and that's what sith do. They don't want someone above them and that's how the sith grow more powerful. Instead of many dark side users it all boils down to two hence making them more powerful. That's their idea anyway. Maybe that's why Luke and Leia were so strong, not many force users left? I know it doesn't work that way. But the sith looked at it that way. Mediclorean manipulation sounds like something Vader wanted to do. Didn't he spend time meditation in the bacta tank trying to heal his lungs?
If anyone could kill Sidious it's Plagueis not Rey
Vader
Nicholas Cortez absolutely killed it as Plagueis and Dooku. His Plagueis impression sent chills down my spine.
Thank you very much!
@@NicholasCortezVoiceActor you did a great job
Ironically, I could see Anakin trying to resurrect Padme and when it fails, having unfathomable rage towards Plaguies for lying to him that he could bring her back. Then, he revisits the footage as a way to cope and makes the discovery. He takes some measurements and finds that the timing was perfect, mathematical even. Then he gets a closer look at the hilt. He gasps as he realizes it belonged to Sifo-Dias. Anakin remembers conversations with Plaguies about Dooku killing Dias. To his horror the figure was a taller species, that held Sifo-Dias’ lightsaber. Anakin connects that the only being to match that height and have that saber was Plaguies. Anakin is struck with guilt. Not only were the Jedi innocent, he also sided with his wife’s killer. So he goes back to Coruscant to fight Plaguies and avenge all those they had hurt.
Might take this into consideration for a part 2
@@FantasyFolklore -might- will 😂😂😂
@@FantasyFolklore You said they rule forever here. I'd call that part 2 an alternate ending. Also awesome. I see so many fanfics where they keep the major beats the same such as still Tyranus or Plagueis still meeting Anakin in the opera house.
I like this a lot, it basically fulfillis the prophecy too as Anakin destroys the sith just like Vader did
This also fulfills the prophecy if anakin kills him. Then he to “make amends” starts a new Jedi order
The voice actor truly did a phenomenal job
Nick is the 🐐
Dooku was actually the perfect partner for Plagueis. Basically, Dooku is too powerful, experienced and knowledgeable to be a real apprentice, even to the Sith. Dooku was always going to be more of a partner and peer than a strict learner. This is not unlike the older pre-Bane Sith master and apprentice dynamic. Sidious is a bad master for any apprentice because Sidious is a true psychopath and would never relinquish his power, or share it for too long. He was never going to teach any of his apprentices the true arcane secrets of the Sith; especially Dooku because he already shared too much with him, and because he feared Dooku. If Plagueis was looking for more of a partner, and not a lightsaber in the back, Dooku was the better choice. The two would have been formidable duo for sure. Because, what is clear from "Jedi Lost" and "Master & Apprentice" is that Dooku was already obsessed with Force esoterica; a trait Qui Gon inherited. Plagueis had as much to learn from Dooku as Dooku Plagueis. Between them they would have uncovered all of the Force's secrets.
I agree with everything but Sidious; Sidious was, opposite to Plagueis, an advocate of Bane's rule of 2, he just wanted someone worthy to kill him. He hoped Anakin would, and even tought Vader the rule for the unlikely case Vader would have grown stronger one day
Not mention dooku was trained under yoda one of best jedi master
Hearing Sidious beg for his life and Plagueis just going "Hrm... Nah!" before skewering him was strangely satisfying.
Absolutely stellar voice acting...
Nick is the 🐐
@@FantasyFolklore He is indeed. That's some of the best fan voice acting I have ever heard
That smug snake realizing that there is no escape from the impending doom he brought upon himself is priceless.

What if vadar didn't betray Galen marek
They overthrow palps
Wow never thought of that one
Ha’g derp ner el ughn uhhao pala wan. BRO IS A 5 YEAR OLD “Vadar”. He be speaking like that tho
They would both die
Sideous dies
I've always believed that Dooku would've made a really good choice of apprentice for Plagueis. It'd all largely depend on how deeply Dooku drifts into the dark side as to weather he'd attempt betrayal or if he'd share power.
Dooku was Plagueis backup in case Sidious failed
I wonder if Plagueis would be as much of a sinister presence as Sidious. I reckon he would even find common grounds with Yoda and impress even the Jedi with his knowledge. He was called the Wise after all and was not a mindless Jedi-hating brute like some other older Sith and to an extent Vader who was obssessed with the Jedi.
was he not super anti alien tho ?
@@munch15a He wasn't at first from what I understand, but after falling to the dark side combined with Sidious's corrupting influence, he did come to see humans as superior. Then again so did Sidious who also preferred his empire to be largely human-supremacist. I suspect a Dooku who trained under plagueis would develop somewhat differently.
What if Palpatine viewed Plagues as too valuable to kill in an alternative timeline?

Yo im binge watching these vids rn keep up the amazing work!
ngl when he does the Plagueis voice he's a dead ringer for Tony Jay
I do firmly believe that Palpatine held back the Dark-Side unintentionally via killing Plagueis TBH.
I have said this for a long time now and no one believes me. Their victory would have been actually assured with Plagueis as the leader of the Sith.
What if Darth Vader learned sith sorcery and used it to heal himself
Dang, Dooku always gets the short end of the stick. Big sad.
I'd always though Plagueis and Dooku would have worked far better together than either of them with Palpatine. Palpatine is just too trecherous.
What if Anakin train Galen Maverick
Will do it eventually
What if Darth Sidious was the chosen one for the Sith?
He probably was .
Evidently he was the way the story chaotically plays out.
I thought Bane was, and Darth Vader was another Chosen One in a cult
He is. He’s what the Sith refer to as a “Sith Ari” which is just a Sith chosen one. However, there are more than one Sith Ari’s. Darth Bane, for example, was probably a Sith Ari.
What if maul was the chosen one
Your movies are actually amazing and this is with no joke. It feels like I’m watching a whole new Star Wars. Keep up with the great work!
Exactly what we’re going for, thanks for watching, these words are extremely motivating!
What if kit fisto was still alive by the time anikan got to the chancellors office
Very cool! And Dooku's voice was stunning. However, of all figures, Anakin would'nt recognize the silhouette of a 10 foot tall Muun whom he happened to see cutting down Padme on surveillance cameras?
Correct me if im wrong, Darth Tenebrous had figured out how to transfer his conciousness to other hosts upon his death by turning his midichlorians to maxichlorians which never die. So when Plagueis killed him he had transfered himself into Plagueis'' body/mind and through that saw Plagueis''s future and how he would die by the hands of his apprentice as well. When he realised this he saw that his plan to transfer into the body of the chosen one was going to be impossible, so he left the body of Plagueis only to get stuck back in his own body that had already died.
If Sidious did not kill Plagueis, Tenebrous would not have seen the future that he saw and not left Plagueis'' body upon his own death.
Basically if Sidious did not kill Plagueis, Tenebrous would have stayed in Plagueis'' body/mind as separate conscious entity until Plagueis met the chosen one so he could then transfer his conciousness again and become the chosen one..
Tenebrous knew that he would fail to become the chosen one as force lightening would have killed his maxichlorians and killed him as well, but if that never happened and Sidious did not kill Plagueis then Tenebrous would have stuck to his plan to become the chosen one.
LOVED IT. One issue, however. Plagueis had terrifying visions of Anakin as Darth Vader. Why he wouldn't have those visions in this alternative reality IDK.
He did have these visions, they take place the day Sidious challenges him
I really like. Plagueis is my favorite Sith. He was too trusting of sidious
So In my opinion it seems that Plagueis was supposed to be the one who brought balance to the force, by merging the power of the darkside with the mercy of the light.... only for palpatne to fuck it all up and the force to have to go to PLAN B.
Yep 😊
Dooku's style of combat was actually a fairly good counter to Mace, since it didn't rely on hatred or aggression weakening the effectiveness of Wapod
I still think Mace would win he could still use shatter point and he’s just as strong if not stronger in the force and he’s younger and much more athletic
I agree, but at this point he was too old
@@JM00237 Mace was never able to best Dooku as a when Dooku was a Jedi and Mace was already a higher more efficient and tactical and strategic form seven user then Maul and probably Sidious even before Vaapad yet not once has Mace best Dooku in lightsaber combating and in force powers Dooku is more refined and more versatile and had a higher potential then Mace there is a reason why Yoda chose Dooku as a apprentice and not Mace And Obi Wan yeah.
@@matthewmann8969 No, Sidious was a way better fighter than Mace he just lost on purpose, and also the Form VII of Mace is different from the Form VII of SIdious
@@JM00237 dude Shatter point would be useless against Dooku becose unlike every other Sith he doesn’t use the dark side blindly in fight. He doesn’t use hate and anger but cold, calculated composure plus with his masters of form II he would be victorious. And no, age is irelevant here (just look at Yoda, Sidious or Dooku, they are old as frick but with force they can do almost any fancy jumping and other stuff as much as they want).
The only issue I have with this story is that Anakin isn't a gullible fool. He might be impulsive and impatient, but I don't believe he'd have looked at a recording of a hooded figure with a green saber and immediately jumped to the conclusion that his wife was murdered by a Jedi. Considered the possibility, sure, but he wouldn't have immediately acted on it.
I just can’t see Anakin thinking a random guy with a green lightsaber immediately means Jedi. Grievous exists. Ventress exists. Ulic Qel Droma existed. He’d need more then just footage to jump to that conclusion.
I agree he also didn't have sidious's constant manipulation to further push him to the dark side. He wouldn't have been as emotionally conflicted in this era until padme's death.
In Legends Dooku had a high midichlorian count and had to in order to get the attention of Yoda into training him while Yoda did not show that fondness with anybody else not even Mace and Plagueis seeing Jedi Master Dooku as a insurance apprentice for Sidious over Maul speaks of Dooku having a higher midichlorian count then Plagueis but not as high as Sidious that is as long as Sidious did not get crippled up, imprisoned in a really guarded jail cell, or eradicated entirely yeah.
The only issue I see with the course of events, is that Anakin wouldn't be the Anakin we know without Palpatine's influence from the get-go. From his earliest moments in the order after Episode 1, Palpatine had manipulated Anakin's feelings, convictions, and ideals. The only reason Anakin even had the ego of his skills, the viewpoints he did, and the difficulty letting go of attachments was because of Palpatine constantly enflaming them. If Plagueis kept away from Anakin all the way up to Episode III, the Anakin he would encounter would not be this Anakin we see here. Anakin may not have ever married Padme, his rationale and line of thinking, his ideals, would all be entirely different. I can't see an Anakin like that siding with Plagueis.
TLDR: Taking Palpatine out of the equation would fundamentally change Anakin as a character, which I think these events presented here did not take into account for.
One thing that wouldn't change is the council's distrust of him for his emotions and his resentment of Obi-Wan's attempts to teach him while barely being half trained himself, and the bullying he got from the younglings his age for his different upbringing . Palpatine certianly made these problems worse but even without Sith interference they still existed.
Another factor to consider, given Dooku as a senator would still have a good relationship with Obi-Wan as Qui-Gon's master it's likely that Dooku would have been in a position to influence Anakin similar to Palpatine was.
What if Disney hadn’t of ruined an entire franchise worth billions?
What if Yoda died before the Clone Wars?
This is fantastic. You remind me of Star Wars Theory back in the day when he was good
I don't think Anakin would believe it was a Jedi who killed Padme. For one, he had an experience on Umbara where he knew clones fought each other because of a similar misunderstanding. And two, General Grievous used blue/green sabers, it wouldn't be hard to imagine others with Jedi lightsabers.
Bail Antilles and Bail Organa are different people although they are related through marriage.
What if the eternal fleet was never destroyed causing the Outlander to rule as Emperor forever
Plaguies gives off a better Sith name for Dooku as Darth Draconia, than what Sidious came up in his mind, like really a dinosaur.😂
To each their own, but I love the name Darth Tyranus.
That was some of the best voice acting I have ever heard! Well done, Nicholas Cortez!

Not trying to hate but you kinda rushed this ngl … why was maul expose himself that way? He had no reason to he there other then to kill the senator at the order of sidous who was dead. That’s the only conflict it took to turn anakin? All it took to turn dooku? Many more
I really hope this intriguing to you. What if Qui Gon still fell to darth maul however Count dooku found purpose and stayed with the Jedi order and trained anakin. How would this change the events?
“What If Count Dooku Joined Yaddle” comes out soon which follows this narrative
@@FantasyFolklore awesome! I will check it out!
Bail organana and bail Antilles are different characters
What always bothered me is how the Jedi could lose a whole planet just because someone took one file and not be aware of a massive military contract with the said planet. How do they not have backup files or have anyone in the order who knows of it off hand. Also, there would be a record of it somewhere else, or it would be talked about randomly in their travels. Also, are there no accountants or lawyers in the Jedi Order or Republic that would be aware of such an arrangement? A country on Earth can barely build a large ship without intelligence agencies or investigative journalists knowing about it.

Sidious is the biggest hypocrite when it comes to Sith tradition and beliefs. He follows the rule of 2 when it comes to him killing his master but then already was training maul as an apprentice. He tells dooku to kill ventress so he doesnt break the rule of two but is grooming anakin as his apprentice the whole time. He hunts down Maul and Savage cause "there can only be 2 sith" He then has dozens of dark side acolytes and instead of accepting his apprentice should one day kill him he put so many resources into keeping himself alive through cloning but if Vader in canon ever got an apprentice sidious would be like "how dare you break the rule of 2"
*Nah I say it's only a matter of time before Anikin truly finds out the truth about Padma and overpowering Darth Plagueis*
Quite intriguing. Man, this channel is way underrated. I do think that Vader eventually figures out that Plagueis killed his wife, and that it was all for nothing, all along. Thus going to confront his master Plagueis. A dark side ending could be Anakin becoming a Sith Emperor if he wins, or Plagueis winning.
I see many possible endings either way. Perhaps Anakin feels remorse after defeating Plagueis and comes back to the light, well, mostly. Tries to reform the Empire, recreating it into something like the Fel Empire from Legends, in his attempt to atone. He forms an order of Imperial Knights, similar to the Jedi in some ways, but more secular and less dogmatic in nature. To keep him in check and spread the will of the Empire.
Another possibility is Anakin going into exile like Luke and maybe reforming the Jedi Order, though tbh, I don't think Anakin would become a Jedi again. Or that he'd try to reform the republic.
Perhaps Anakin could die in the duel along with Plagueis, and the galaxy falls into chaos. Hard to say if the Jedi Order and Republic would be reformed in time, because I imagine a suitless Vader and Plagueis, with the likes of Yoda and Obi-Wan dead and no Luke Skywalker, would lead to a true extermination of the Jedi Order. Though hard to say.
People seem to want Vader figuring out Plagueis used him so maybe we’ll see a part 2 with that ending, not too sure though
What if the clone wars didn’t end what would be the fate of commander bly,Cody, Rex, and so on you could go with palps executing order 66 but instead of replacing the clones with storm troopers keep them I promise it could be a great story

Something I always wanted to see, Plaeguis should have been able to kill Sidious since he was more experienced as a Sith Lord and had more knowledge of the dark side than Sidious (something Sidious surely knew, since he killed his old master in his sleep).

If events from this would change differently then Qui Gon would have survived and Obi Wan would have been the one who died instead. But the one who killed him will be Savage Oppress in Darth Maul's place. Based on legends, Maul's mother "Kycina" had in fact hidden one of her sons away from mother Talzen. Therefore, Kycina hidden Savage away from mother Talzen instead. Then we have Dooku would be replaced by Sifo-Dyas. Darth Palgueis would turn Sifo-Dyas to the dark side and use him to betray Dooku.

I don't think Darth Plagues ever called Palpatine by his first name. I just finished the Darth Plagues novel.
It’s truely an amazing story and it would be really cool to see this in What if Tar Wars series. But the only thing I disagree with is Windu defeating Dooku. Dooku would most defenetly stood victorious (shatter point of Windu would be useless against Dooku who doesn’t use anger and hatered in a duel, is much more powerful force user and more experienced duelist and master of form II and unlike Sidious he knows his strategy, fighting style and wouldn’t underestimate him). I know it’s more convenient for this story but the reality would be different.
I genuinely don’t think he could in Dooku’s old age, but I definitely agree with ur reasoning
@@FantasyFolkloreDooku is great against the best form seven opponents it is high tier form five opponents like Anakin and the highest level Ataru users like Yoda that gives him trouble only out of all the Jedi yeah.
So then Anakin discovers that plagueis was the one who killed his wife and kids in the womb. So anakin trains gallen marek to overthrow plagueis. Gallen suceeds in killing plagueis and turn anakin back ti the light side, but anakin dies while plagueis is killed on the first deaths star. (Basically the end of episode 6 happens at the end of force unleashed) Gallen marek turns to the light and becomes the new luke skywalker. And history basically is the same from that point on with some minor differences

Wow, thanks!
I wonder what if Ahsoka met Galen Marek. Both apprentices of Anakin/Vader but more reflective of either side of the Force
I bet Count Dooku would have actually beaten Mace, considering This Dooku is trained properly by Plagueis, and Before you say Mace Windu beat Palpatine, that's mostly because Palpatine knew it was the perfect moment to fake his loss so Anakin would help him. Mace's Vaapad relies on inner feelings, so basically aggression, Makashi is the perfect counter for that, a defensive, quick, and relies on parries.
Dooku is better off not leaning into the Darkside much with Mace. In any event, Dooku does have a canon duel against Mace in a 2020 comic. Their duel on Ridley ended in a stalemate. Vaapad was wholly ineffective. It was a rather casual affair for Dooku.

Mace kills Dooku. I feel like that was just done to make the rule of two part at the end simpler cause I don't see Mace beating Dooku in a fight.
i guess plagueis was stronger then palpatine when palpatine tried to kill him during the phantom menace. And he would of died if plagueis was not drunk but revenge of the sith sidious or after would of folded plagueis in half and he never actully did learn immortality fully anyway no way he could of saved himself from sidious lighting while passed out.
This video might get your channel to blow up more :)
Keep up the good work! :D I love the voices for the video.
A very realistic outcome. Sidious suspected this would happen so he got Plagueis drunk and killed him in his sleep. He knew that in a fair fight he would most likely lose. I think this is why the Sith did not reach their full potential. Unlike the Sith of old where a duel would be held between the Master and appretice to determine the greater of the two the more modern Sith used trickery instead of their knowledge of the Dark side.
Nah they still got more powerful like Plagueis was way more powerful then tennerbus. As Sidious was way more powerful then Plagues
@@samtheman4931 Sidious killed his master in his sleep, because in a fair fight he was unsure that he would win and for good reason.

Plagius: my dear anakin. Have you ever heard of the tragedy of Darth Sideous the powerful?. It's a not a story the Jedi would tell you.
Part 2 please?
Here’s one for you. What if the Bendu trained Anakin. Say he felt it when Anakin was born which sadly shmi skywalker died giving birth so he took Anakin away to Train him
Amazing how many people missed so many hints. 1)Darth Plageous never drank and certainly never to excess
2) He lost all interest in galactic schemes and withdrew to a reclusive life. His only interest was studying how to have the power to defeat death.
3) His character was not obsessed with absolute control. Why else would he even dream of sharing power as equals with sidings.
4) His instinct to defend himself against sidious was overcome by his will. His power rose up and then quickly and meekly withdrew.
He obviously faked his own death and could easily come back into the star wars universe.
This is by far my favourite "What If" yet. Such a great story!
There is a canon duel between Mace Windu and Count Dooku in the last year of the Clone Wars from a 2020 comic (I can't remember it off the top of my head). The two duel on Ridley to a draw. Observations: 1) Mace's Vaapad is 100% ineffective on Dooku, and without it he has no advantage in the least, 2) Dooku is not really pushed in the duel the way Sidious was. Indeed the duel was pretty even, but it is clear Dooku was controlling the flow of the engagement and was almost casual about it. 3) Both Mace and Dooku got in a Force Push that sent the other man head over heels. So, in conclusion, as many of suspected over the years, the two are about as evenly matched as can be in Force power and dueling prowess. Though, if the fight drew out, Vaapad's lack of effectiveness on Dooku perhaps gives Mace less room for error, and that Dooku's greater Force knowledge and experience might give him a slight edge. Again, the two are so evenly matched. Whereas it is true Mace defeated Sidious, thanks to Vaapad, it is also true that Dooku stalemated Yoda on Geonosis and actually out dueled Yoda in a canon duel on Tatooine when he disarmed him and tagged him with Force Lightning. Both on their best day can beat anyone.
I like Dooku's Sith name in this.
nick came up with it!
