I really like this video, you obviously put a lot of work and effort into it. And I agree with almost all the changes you put forward. One small observation though, you mentioned, Aniken was as strong as any Jedi master specifically, with a light sabre during the events of Camino, however, as powerful as Anakin is, and while I do believe he would unlock more of his potential under Qui-gon, I think light sabre skills are the one area where Obi-Wan might have had a small advantage over his master, so combined with the fact, Anakin would not have fought in the clone wars yet to truly test himself, I don’t think he should have that much prestige at this point.
What if qui-gon and obi-wan tried to talk before fighting maul? I mean they didn't even try to gain information from him. They needed to get maul monologuing. "Yes you can't even beat me what chance do the Jedi stand agents my master"
The thing is qui gon greatly respected his master. Also the loss of his student while holding fast to the Jedi way would cause him to waiver. Maybe not immediately, but small things would add up over time because the Jedi are not blameless. He would’ve trained anakin very differently. And it’s very possible that dooku could’ve turned him to the dark side, making anakin have to fight and possibly kill his own master, yet again. This drastic change from a care free master that wasn’t bogged down by the codes and bylaws, to a new master who is hardcore might lead anakin to seek power from the chancellor, and if the chancellor was ever in any danger of anakin switching sides from him, he’d just dangle dooku in front of him. Here’s the man who turned your master, the man you saw as a father, the man who forced you to have to kill your own master. Blinded by rage and fear of loosing padme, this is enough to satiate him. However there’s no obi wan fight so padme doesn’t follow and anakin doesn’t force choke her. And since there’s no set up for anakin to kill padme, sidious has to set things up somehow for her to die. Only for anakin to learn of this because of his hardcore rule following master. This leads anakin to turn against the chancellor.
I allways thought to myself, the light side of the force wanted Ankin to be trained by Quigon because of his unique fewings on the Jedi, in order for the Porphasy to become reality. The ONLY reason this did not happen in the original story was the emens power of Darth Sidius manipulating the battle of fates even over this emence distance. I strongly belive to this day even if Sidius could have keep Darth Tyrannos, he would have faild in his long plan.
I believe if Gui Gon lived and Obi Wan died. Gui Gon would had comfort Anakin, he wouldn’t made error and wouldn’t had let him down, Count Dooku might not turned to the dark side
And in the middle of the battle, after the exhausting task of removing his hood, Sleepy Sidious suddenly slumbered then there to their confusion and relief.
Fun fact, Zabraks (Darth Maul’s species) have two hearts, so Maul could have easily come back without much explanation if this were to have happened instead
Lol padme asking Anakin about the Jedi clone army. Jedi Council: We have an army? Wha-When? How? Why? We gotta stop leaving our communicators on when we get into those hard late night meditations.
@swiftyiwnl9406 not possible, that's why the jedi temple was built over the top of it, it was meant to counteract the darkside emanating from the temple, however palpy mcscrotum face used that to his advantage
I think the perfect thing to keep Anakin from falling was having both Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon in his life, a brother and a father figure would've done wonders and he wouldn't have gotten attached to Palaptine so much.
I don't buy Palpatine getting into a multiple-opponent lightsaber battle and not have his identity discovered. The reason the Jedi never found out is because they'd never seen him. There is just no way Qui Gon wouldn't have seen his face, but there is also no way that Dooku couldn't have shouted his name. No matter how fast Palpatine may be, he wouldn't be able to keep Dooku occupied and silent for more than a few moments. Luke was able to call out to Vader while he was being electrocuted, and Palpatine was able to speak when he electrocuted himself.
Quite a good story! Although, I think at that point Qui-Gon and Dooku would be too much for Sidious. Dooku alone was already near his level, adding in another Master who would have many years of working with Dooku? I don't think Sidious could beat them. I think he'd have to flee.
@@shughan666sidous was at his weakest here due to the lightning. if you watched The clone wars (2008) and saw the maul and savage vs sidous he easily 1v2’d them. Maul was not what he used to be yea but savage’s power was double what sidous was and savage made the jedi struggle
There is some truth to this. While Dooku by himself would probably lose to Sidious at this point, it'd still be a fairly close duel, but add Qui-Gon, as well as the teamwork he and Dooku would have built up in their past as master and apprentice, there's a moderate chance they could match Sidious since this Sidious isn't nearly as powerful as he'd become later. There's some supporting evidence in that Darth Plagueis believed that Dooku alone would, around this time, give Sidious some trouble. However there is one bit of evidence against them beating Sidious here and that that after killing Plagueis, which I think by this point Sidious had done recently, he got a power buff from having killed Plagueis. Its a tough call if they'd win.
This was an incredible video, but one thing I think could have played out differently is the battle with qui gon and dooku vs sidius. Dooku was said to be the only person who could challenge or beat yoda and mace in combat. I think his lightsaber combat abilities along with qui gon’s abilities with the force would be enough to overpower sidius. He was already cautious of dooku because he was a renowned fighter and sidius was out of practice in terms of lightsaber combat because he wanted the sith to move past needing them
I feel like palps would have a list of potentials. People being trained as sith assassins stashed throughout the galaxy that he could tap as a true appearance
One of the major flaws here : Kamino wouldn't have a senate seat until the war began. The Kaminoans were isolationists, and not a part of the Republic until business and politics made it favorable.
Don't get me wrong - there are a few inconsistencies, but it's a fun and interesting thought experiment all the same! And certainly an enjoyable watch.@@thestarwarsgalaxy
This would have definitely made me extremely sad if it actually happened. In my honest opinion, one thing that really got under my skin regarding The Phantom Menace was how they sidelined Obi-Wan Kenobi up until the end of the film where he defeats Maul and takes Anakin under his wing. The dude didn't even get his own personal poem TV spot the way Shmi, Anakin, Qui-Gon, Padme, and even Darth Maul (DARTH MAUL! The one with the least amount of screentime) did. And I'm still sour about Padme's retort to Obi-Wan about not failing to get the viceroy. In short, it's bad enough that Kenobi got left on the side most of TPM, but it hurts even more to imagine if this what-if had its the final say in the canon. Okay, venting done. I'll see myself out.
I feel like Anakin and Qui Gon could have become a formidable partnership. I also feel like they would have been involved in creating a new more balanced Jedi Order as Qui Gon already had reservations/was his own person, and this would have nurtured a balanced understanding Anakin as opposed to Obi Wan/the council smothering Anakin
This was clearly written by someone who doesn’t understand Qui-Gon at all. Using anger to fuel his power against Maul? Wanting to ‘snap’ a retort at Windu out of spite? No. He was a Jedi Consular. A role for which he trained 50 years. These ideas are so far removed from his character, it would be like seeing Obi-Wan punt a youngling out a window.
I would love to see a continuation of this. Maybe inspite of the brief clone war Thrawn is able to gain power and challenge the Republic. Amadala becomes Chanslor this placing Luke and Lea in his sites to try and control the outcome. Grevis is by his side along with the Night sisters.
what if luke never left dagobah in the empire strikes back? i just finished watching it and it got me wondering “what would have happened to han, leia and the others? would they live, escape, or die?”
the thing is. and that makes that moment so cool. Luke getting to help didnt change a thing. Lea etc were escaping regardless. Quite the opposite, they had to come back to rescue luke. So yea, would be interresting.
@@AbigatorM ye but R2 was with luke on dagobah. even lando didnt know the falcon’s hyperdrive was disabled. if R2 wasnt on the falcon the hyperdrive would not have gotten fixed. so again i ask do they get captured, live, escape, or die?
Dooku only fell to the dark side because Qui Gon was his padawan. When Qui Gon died, Dooku was angry about how the council handled his mission and felt that Qui Gon didn't need to die. This was how Sidious was able to get his hooks into Dooku. Dooku didn't follow Obi Wan or pay attention to him much until he saw Anakin was his padawan. Dooku knew ObiWan was weaker than most but someone who worked very hard to get where he was. He knew that if he could turn ObiWan, he would have access to Anakin. That was why Dooku tried to get ObiWan to join him. ObiWan was exactly like Anakin in personality - he was direct, impatient, and lead from the front. When he watched Anakin, he realized that he needed to temper himself and be more like his master, Qui Gon. Hence why ObiWan always reminded Anakin to be patient. The main differences between ObiWan and Anakin were a result of talent levels. Anakin was the Chosen One and ObiWan was much weaker in the force. However, ObiWan constantly trained where Anakin did not. Anakin/Vader began training more after the fight which left Anakin/Vader cripled and burned. Vader would meditate while in his bacta tank and reflect on his teachings from ObiWan and Sidious. It was his reliance on the bacta tank which forced him to be patient because he still relied on it to live.
darth plagueis was alive till the point Palpetine got promoted to supreme chancellor. He wasnt alone.. he had a Master. So while a cool Video, it could not fully play out like that i think.

Good stories. I like the what ifs. However I think Vintress being a possible apprentice for Sideus would be interesting bringing in the night sisters.
I'm pretty sure that Halle Burtoni didn't become a senator until sometime after the Clone Wars began.
Def need a What If series with this as an episode
Always wondered what would happen if Qui Gon had survived. Love Obi-Wan, but I can't help thinking Qui Gon would have understood Anakin better.
a small flaw in 18:00 KAmino wasnt part of the senat and got a seat AFTEr the war broke out because they provided the army.
"I am an unworthy apprentice" - Obi wan
3:13
Obi wan was an amazing jedi but not such a good teacher he was a big reason why anakin turned
This was really one of the best what ifs I’ve watched in so long I really enjoyed this
One of my favorites. Keep them coming. Thank you
Imagine you’re sword fighting a terrorist in a military science lab, and then he takes off his hood and it’s Joe Biden. Wild
Qui-gon would've redeemed Dooku and brought the plot to the Jedi with proof, knee capping Sidious
What if Anakin, Obi-Wan, and Ahsoka found the hidden Sith Shrine under the Jedi Temple?
jocosta nu would investigate with yoda and mace and lock it off and potentially destroy it
@@swiftyiwnl9406 Won't be easy
@swiftyiwnl9406 not possible, that's why the jedi temple was built over the top of it, it was meant to counteract the darkside emanating from the temple, however palpy mcscrotum face used that to his advantage
I don't think Dooku would join the Dark Side in this alternate universe. One of his motivated factors of joining was the death of Quin-Gon.
But he had already killed Sifo Dyas by this point, and was working with palpatine
did you watch the video? theres other motivations.
But it was a CANON EVENT,bro!
This his honestly one of my favourite videos of yours 😀
If you ask me this timeline seems more likely considering obiwan’s lack of experience vs. his master.
Obiwan is half brother, half father for Anakin
Qui-Gon is 100% a father.
hey i was just waiting for u to make this vid
Count Dooku's final moments were pretty damn badass.
I just comment on his last video suggesting this idea
I think the perfect thing to keep Anakin from falling was having both Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon in his life, a brother and a father figure would've done wonders and he wouldn't have gotten attached to Palaptine so much.
Never allow yourself to get discouraged and think that your life is insignificant and can’t make a change.
Luke was able to call out to Vader while he was being electrocuted, and Palpatine was able to speak when he electrocuted himself.
great story ….although I dont think qui gon would have encouraged attachments but i do believe he’d say some are worth keeping.
This was great!
Quite a good story!
Although, I think at that point Qui-Gon and Dooku would be too much for Sidious. Dooku alone was already near his level, adding in another Master who would have many years of working with Dooku? I don't think Sidious could beat them. I think he'd have to flee.
I agree with this. Sidious could barely edge out Yoda in a 1v1; a 2v1 against Dooku and Qui Gon would be beyond his abilities.
Thank you for adding this. It was exciting.
What if qui gon turned to the darkside when xanatos killed his bae
What if Anakin had a zygerrian Padawan after ahsoka left the Jedi order
That would disastrous

What if he ended up with a tuscan raider for an apprentice?
@@roblopez8481ani would get ptsd from the sand people
Disney needs to hire him for what if star wars
This was an incredible video, but one thing I think could have played out differently is the battle with qui gon and dooku vs sidius. Dooku was said to be the only person who could challenge or beat yoda and mace in combat. I think his lightsaber combat abilities along with qui gon’s abilities with the force would be enough to overpower sidius. He was already cautious of dooku because he was a renowned fighter and sidius was out of practice in terms of lightsaber combat because he wanted the sith to move past needing them
This was an amazing narrative, and you are truly gifted storyteller. I am very impressed and very happy that I came upon you and subscribed.‼️✊🏼✊🏼✊🏼✊🏼
My answer is Anakin probably wouldn't have turned to the dark side if Obi-Wan died and Qui-Gon survived.
Palpatine won't go in there to kill a Senator. He'd hire Jango Fett or some bounty hunter.
Well. Dang it. Hope you enjoyed nonetheless
Don't get me wrong - there are a few inconsistencies, but it's a fun and interesting thought experiment all the same! And certainly an enjoyable watch.@@thestarwarsgalaxy
@1303Zithox well I appreciate that!!
What if Sheev Palpatine was Lord Sidious
Supreme Chancellor Palpatine? A Sith Lord? Nah, there's no way.
These are always great keep up the good work man
Qui Gon is not the typical jedi knight, hence his green saber. He would have turned Anakin in what Luke became.
Cool story I enjoyed it alot. One possibility would be having obi-wan kanobi be wounded not killed. Kind regards from Daniel Harman.
I know that this is an unusual request, but what if Batman and the Joker were in star wars as a jedi and a sith lord respectively?
Obi-Wan's existence was problematic...got it
I feel like Anakin and Qui Gon could have become a formidable partnership.
I also feel like they would have been involved in creating a new more balanced Jedi Order as Qui Gon already had reservations/was his own person, and this would have nurtured a balanced understanding Anakin as opposed to Obi Wan/the council smothering Anakin
Poor Dooku He sacrificed Himself to save His Old Padawan
If Qui-Gon survived the Jedi never would have fallen.
Best sw fan fiction channel on yt hands down
This was clearly written by someone who doesn’t understand Qui-Gon at all.
Awe. That was really good. I liked that a lot. Thank you
I would love to see a continuation of this. Maybe inspite of the brief clone war Thrawn is able to gain power and challenge the Republic. Amadala becomes Chanslor this placing Luke and Lea in his sites to try and control the outcome. Grevis is by his side along with the Night sisters.
This and the ”what if anakin went to the siege of mandalore with Ashoka” are my favorite fics!! 🙌👏
what if luke never left dagobah in the empire strikes back? i just finished watching it and it got me wondering “what would have happened to han, leia and the others? would they live, escape, or die?”
the thing is. and that makes that moment so cool.
Mara Jade would not have had that loophole in Sidious' last command to her.
Excellent..... Bravo......
What if Qui Gon and Obi Wan died during the Phantom Menace
darth plagueis was alive till the point Palpetine got promoted to supreme chancellor. He wasnt alone.. he had a Master.
So while a cool Video, it could not fully play out like that i think.
