I remember this concert. was the first ever concert i went to. had avenged sevenfold, hatebreed, laguna coil, disturbed and system of a down on the main stage. black label society was the last band to play on the second stage. was 7 hours of great music in 115 degree heat in Arizona at cricket pavillion and i loved every minute of it

This is certainly a good cover, unfortunately recorded on not so good equipment. And yes, I've watched A7X's version as well and I don't really know if I prefer one or the other as they're so different. I would say that A7X's version might be closer to the original. That doesn't necessarily make it better, however. I like both bands and of course Pantera. But then again, I for one realize that singing is a personal thing and Draiman's and Shadow's voices are pretty different and that's why especially the high screams are so different. As for the instrumentals, I think both bands do a darn good job. Whatever, it's just my opinion.

Jesse Pinkman Walk is by far Pantera's worst song, it's basically nu metal before there was nu metal. Only thing not nu metal about it is the fact is has solo, but that doesn't make up for the boring crap that is the rest of the song. Sounds okay when being played by a nu metal band, Don's guitar tone is less obnoxious and same goes for Draiman's voice.

Whether they did the song justice or not is irrelevant to how I feel. What they are doing is opening up their fans' minds to different styles of music. Case in point, I became a big Genesis fan after hearing Disturbed's cover of "Land of Confusion." Same thing goes for Mudvayne's cover of "King of Pain." (The Police)

Both bands covered it. They both have different sounds to begin with so they both put their own touchs on the song, period. I do have to say that disturbed does an awesome job covering metallica songs tho. They did awesome with fade to black and master of puppets!! I love both bands but I have to say Avenged Sevenfold will always be my #1!!
