I am a woman of a “certain” age, love wide leg pants. Wear them with a tight fitting top and definitely stiletto pumps. Nice belt finishes the look

I'm 5ft 1,,and apple shape size 16 18. I have two pairs black trousers and I'm going try wear belt but I've no waist.. maybe it would help look trendy and stylish I love shirts too but I've lost the nack of wearing blouse with the trousers .due to problems in can't wear heels 👠 so I also don't know what shoes look right...flats are ok but don't feel right with trouser, thanks lots Deidre ❤️

You look fabulous in the wide leg trousers and I particularly love the pink shirt but not sure I dare to do the wide leg myself but you may have tempted me to try a pair on. 🤔 Having first worn them in the 70’s they may be a step too far.

I've been wanting to try wide leg trousers, just concerned my wide thighs would compromise the look. The brand you showed that's more fitted toward the waist might be the one for me, though. That and wearing a more fitted top as you suggest. Thanks for the tips, Dieirdre!

I just started to incorporate the wide leg trouser this year. It takes time to learn how to balance the outfit ..I thank you for your ideas and suggestions ,By the way I am also petite and showing us your outfits gives me more confidence. I'm child-sized; I'm only 5 foot tall! I love these looks, and so many others, but the only place I can wear them is in my house.
I own several long, wide legged pants, and I like wearing them as lounge wear, but getting up and walking around is IMPOSSIBLE! It's as if I'm wearing a maxi dress-I have to pick up my pants to walk-LOL!

Hi Deidre. I hope you’re having fun in Greece. Slingbacks slip off my feet constantly. Is there a secret to keeping them on your feet? I never wear them cause I’ve always had a problem even when I’ve had them on snuggly.
I guess it depends on your feet but I don’t have this problem. I have empathy with you though xx
I am looking for wide leg black trousers but no pleats. I just want some simple ones. I am very petite and I do not want pleats on the front of my pants, because it just makes you look like you have a stomach even when you don’t.
I feel wide trousers are very difficult to wear, they seem to add inches, if youre an apple shape and cannot wear a tight piece on top, they look less flattering.
Please stop saying UMM
Not a good style, the wide leg pants. They flap around the ankles in the wind. I will never wear them.
