If you need a vegan binding agent instead of eggs, try grated zucchini thats been wilted in the pan with some oil, works great

Or a tbsp of ground flaxseed mixed with 3 tbsp of water! Let it sit for 5 minutes and its a perfect replacement for egg!

For people asking can they replace the eggs, I recommend trying avocado or some sort of oil :)
or flax "egg" works too
Replacing the egg with oil probably wouldn't work since the texture of oil is different than an egg. It would be best to use a flax or chia egg

@Soham Sharma I often become compromised by this issue. I no longer drink milk but try to source eggs from a known source so I too am not completely vegan. I never realized what a big step it is.

I’m neither vegan or vegetarian.
But these look *really* good
I’m not a vegan, and neither is my husband, but he has Polycystic Kidney Disease and needs to cut down on animal protein, especially when his kidneys are bothering him, so recipes like this are helpful to me for cooking vegetable protein meals. Still love meat, but vegetarian/vegan dishes have their place!
All of these look delicious, it's a really good alternative for me since I hate the flavor of meat but I love vegetables.

I have never eaten much meat, even as a child. The smell of meat, chicken and fish -raw or cooked, can gross me out at times. Sometimes I just want something savory that doesn't include meat.

The eggplant one is really awesome, super tasty. I'd love to try the mushroom one a another time, we eat meat but love veggie dishes too. This was a great video, only complaint is the music became incredibly repetitive.

I love how many vegan/vegetarian videos Tasty’s been doing lately, I think they’re trying to smoke out all the *butt hurt meat eaters that keep flooding the comments with hate, like bees.
*As in only the meat eaters who are butt hurt and spread hate, not all meat eaters. I’m really grateful for those of you who are polite even though you disagree with being vegan/vegetarian.

Jeanne Onofre yeah I don’t like oats in meat substitute. It’s dries it up. I prefer black beans and mushrooms. They’re both super moist so the “meat” stays juicy.
to all y'all saying it'll make them dry, my mom actually uses oats instead of breadcrumbs when making regular meatballs. Granted there are both oats and breadcrumbs so I can see that actually being the case.

This comment section is literally just angry meat eaters and angry vegans/vegetarians. To the meat eaters: why are you here if you don’t want the “meatballs” in the first place?
