I hope you don't get sick of hearing from me Aunt Jay but woah! These meatless meatballs blew me away! I was worried because the mixture seemed a bit too wet, but once I had the sauce and spaghetti on the plate it tasted absolutely amazing. It tasted like I was actually eating really meatballs. I used chilli powder instead of cayenne pepper and it wasn't even spicy. Delicious 10/10 😊
Hi Melawyn90 no way I’m sick of hearing from you, I enjoy engaging with everyone build a nice supportive community 💕 I’m so happy you got to try the meatless balls. I really enjoyed them as well. 😊
Chia egg/ just basically chia seeds in water will give you an egg consistency. 1TBS Ground/whole Chia seeds to 1/4cup water. Mix well let sit for 5 mins. There's your egg replacement.
it makes such a pleasant change to have veggie meatballs that are not tvp based. I'll be giving these a go probably witha few changes based purely on a lack of certain ingredients, but this is so simple and by the look of it, adaptable. Thank you for sharing.
Hello again - thank you for another great recipe - we've been trying to eat far less meat, both for health and economic reasons right now - this was delicious (as are all your recipies!) Thanks again and hello from Canada!
The oven bake was a real surprise. They're really substantial. I think I'll be making my own tomato sauce as I find bought ones are over sweetened. For the stills I think you must have dressed the spagetti with the sauce first maybe? Lovely stuff. Tasty and super healthy.
Hi Andy yes I did dress the spaghetti in the sauce first. I know what you mean store bought sauce does often contain too much sugar and salt . I hope you enjoy them

I do it with soy mince and oatmeal. 4:1 ratio + garlic powder, parsly, salt and pepper.Without pan roasting, just dry ingredients moistened with water (just a little) enough to get the right consistency to form balls and than they are cooked in plenty of tomato sauce.
I tried those and they came out really nice, though unfortunately a little bit on the dry side. Not sure what I did wrong there. we still enjoyed them though. Thanks so much for posting this recipe. I’m wondering how to reheat them in order to avoid breaking them up completely because when I put them in the sauce they started to break apart. Should I put them in the oven once more from frozen to heat them up or let them defrost slowly and fry them? Has anybody tried heating them up and has some advice? Thank you.

I loved the recipe; what will u use instead of egg
Chia egg/ just basically chia seeds in water will give you an egg consistency. 1TBS Ground/whole Chia seeds to 1/4cup water. Mix well let sit for 5 mins. There's your egg replacement.
Aquafaba (liquid from can of chickpeas) 3 tbs = 1 egg. Substitute chickpeas for lentils and the liquid and you have a vegan meatball.
Looks good, I am certainly going to make this!
Looks amazing aunt Jay 😍
Could I use the same lentils to make the last recipe.. the potatoes on top of beef? To make it veggie?
Thanks James 💕😀
Hi James yes you could definitely 😊
@@CookingWithAuntJay thank you I have a 1000g of green lentils have to use them up
