- This may have been my best day at a resort, everything aligned at Mount Washington and my fitness was put to the test. A deep wind slab on a solid base set the stage for a bluebird sky with clean lines to be taken in any direction. These days do not happen often and are so amazing to take in, hard to put into words the feeling.

This vid hit me in the feels. Gave me goosebumps. Made me want to get up at 4am and drive to Marmot Basin. I heard the high traverse is open this year giving access to the Saddle and Marmot 2. Would love to see a video of that.

Just went to Marmot last week and going again this week, yea the traverse is open and well groomed, super quiet, like maybe 10 people had ridden and that was around 2pm
