Amy I made the shaving cream /food-coloring art project with my graddaughter. She is on the "autism" spectrum and absolutely loooovvvveeessss art! We did this project together, she never wanted to stop. Thank you sweet Amy, you have blessed us.
Amazing!! On a personal note, I've never met a sheet of tissue paper or piece of cardboard I didn't like. I have tons. You have shown a great way to use tissue paper and paint. I do, however, have a serious problem with blending paints together without creating yuk. Thanks for sharing. Love the eyeglasses btw.,
Hi...I really loved this video...one quick question....there are different varieties of mod podge available, which one I have to use for getting this effect perfectly....thanks in advance
CI love this, I painted the heart. It turned out pretty good. I gave it as an engagement present and wrote love you beside the heart. They loved it. So thank you for your wonderful inspiration.
Hi amy!! I just loved all your art work! I painted this one and it came awesome! Thanku vry much for sharing.:) Is it ok to varnish this?? Since its textured, which varnish is to be used??(Spray varnish or the regular one). Waitin for ur reply!!
You are so talented. I started watching your videos around midnight and it's now 4:40. Your videos are addicting. I already learned sooo much. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. "dave"
Hello. I was wanting to do this for a while now, but I'm unsure of what color acrylic paints to buy. I am planning to get the apple barrel acrylic paints brand. I also have the option to choose between glossy, matte, and satin. Oh and I have no history of painting at all. That's why I am asking. :) I mean I guess I could add my own colors, but suggestions would be nice. ^__^
Absolutely fab! I'm getting to where I would rather watch people make beautiful things than watch TV or listen to music! :) Really inspiring - makes me want to do a tissue paper painting for my next project. You are adorable also - the glasses are great. Thank you. :D
+Karen M I'm starting to feel the same! I'm trying to do that while I nurse my baby. There's a lot of downtime, then. Although, I'll admit--I need to watch more of people's creations, because I get sucked into Netflix binges, all too often! Hehe!
Use the regular paper cut it into heart shape then place it one the canvas and mark from the edges with fine size marker or brush with paints. If U can't make on smooth regular paper then use graphic paper Take any heart picture Transfer it on paper from the heart picture with help of graphic paper.or simply u can take paper fold it into half Now draw heart on one side the other side will come out when will cut out with scissor.Hope U understand what I actually said lol
Thank you so mush for your videos. I'm a disabled dad and my daughter and I love to watch your vids. You're funny and can be a dork, but we love to laugh along with you.

Amy, do you have any more step by step abstract tutorials, like your birch tree one with the sponge? I loved that you started at the white canvas, and went slow! It was like being at vino van gogh here in stl. I am on my way to get supplies! Have you done any paintings of city scapes, rainy days in the park, or anything else that I can watch SLOW. Love your work.
Hey grt tutorial ! 2 queries - Can I supplement mod podge with gesso? N d you leave the tissue on d canvas or remove it off before painting on it? Thanks
So, you painted the canvas first in a dark red and then put on tissue paper? I did watch the other vid where you applied tissue, just wasn't sure what you had done to canvas prior. Please answer!! Tfs
I just made a couple of these as Valentine's Day presents.....I had everything at home except a base to do this on.....so I raided my husband's workshop and found a bunch of small pieces of pressed wood and plywood! These worked like a charm!!! I didn't even sand the edges smooth! I used an old paintbrush to first paint the wood and then put on the Mod Podge because some of the edges were pretty rough, but once the tissue paper went on....viola!!! Absolutely beautiful! A great way to use up small wood scraps! Than k you for this great tutorial! I wish we could post photos here!
I absolutely LOVE your tutorials... You are such a joy to watch and a breath of fresh air... "Thank YOU for sharing your great ideas... ... (Note: Your background music is a little too loud... and sometimes it was hard to understand what you were saying...) I'd rather just listen to you...

Hi. Great tutorial. But what do you finish this painting with? Fixative? Emulsion?
"Ich" is a "medical" term but it is a disease of fish!...sorry I couldn´t resist! Your videos rock!
So, you painted the canvas first in a dark red and then put on tissue paper? I did watch the other vid where you applied tissue, just wasn't sure what you had done to canvas prior. Please answer!! Tfs

Thanks! Saw your tissue paper video too! Gives me some ideas.
Could I use white lepages glue instead of Mod Podge? mod podge is so pricey here.
