You are so talented and explain everything patiently and thorough. I’ve been stockpiling tissue paper and had ideas but you brought it to life. This piece is stunning!! ❤️❤️❤️
My family think I am mad, recycyclingn stuff from everywhere. My son just took down some water piping that wouldn't drip on the plants any more. I will now use it, along with old charge cords, as the core in maaking baskets. Happy, happy!
I'm rewatching this for inspiration and I would frame the tissue as is and hang on a eall. It's beautiful!!! i love recycling everything. Many people don't understand that, but I see everything as an art medium.
I agree. I look at everything with an eye as to how can I use that later. I just got rid of, at least, 200 Amazon boxes that my neighbor "suggested" I might want to get rid of. It broke my heart that I had not moved faster to use all these wonderful boxes. Oh, well.
I found you yesterday, I've spent four hundred dollars on art and craft supplies in two days...I do have loads of stuff but you've reignited my passion again, I'm sick with covid but I've never felt so alive thanks 😊 big hugs from Australia xxx
I’m not much of a resin person, but could you just imagine this under resin??? It’s so pretty, it seems a shame to tear it up into pieces. Thank you for the tutorial.🥰
Now there is something I can do and make the results look like I know what I’m doing! Spray water into bottles and dump out on tissue paper! I can do that. Thank you for the recycling idea!
Haha! Of course you can do this! & it makes the most amazing papers that you can use for mixed media projects, art journal, collage or even as wrapping paper! Ha! 👍🏼😍
michigan here.. so glad I found this video.. you have given me the knowhow to create just what I needed to find all on my own now.. This is a huge help to me. Thank you.
Wow! I would never have tried this as I assumed the paper would dissolve when wet. I save all my tissue paper from parcels and now know how to use it - I eill also dry ink stamping on it when it's dry. Thanks for the ideas!
You don’t need to wait until your bottle is empty. Start with a brand new empty container, a dash of paint in your favourite colours and addd water. Voila, fabulous tissue paper with any colours you want. Thanks for the idea. Froyle have you ever thought have writing a book?
Wow so pretty, on Wednesday here where I live is recycling. I go thru my neighbors bins and bring home stuff to collage and stuff to use as templates on my gelli plate.
One could consider pressing inexpensive porous other paper on top of the more wet areas producing more incredible serendipity. Your videos are fascinating.
Oh yes! I have done that!, It does work but sometimes it messes up the original tissue because the colours become muddy, but it’s definitely worth experimenting with! 👍🏼😘
Egads! This video was a revelation for me. I LOVE the concept behind this technique -- no wasted paint -- and the end result was beyond fabulous. And, you are as charming as can be. I am a fan!!!!
Delicious! Good enough to eat! I always save packaging too. I do nearly all my shopping online so get loads and sometimes have to throw it away because otherwise it would completely take over my studio. That brown packaging paper from Amazon is great. Sometimes things come packaged in thick paper that's been cut in a pattern, a bit like expanded metal. Great texture! I save all offcuts of thread from sewing and ends of knitting and crochet yarn, and I've made books using recycled greetings cards for pages. People are now saving cereal box liners for me as I'm going to start fusing them. Food packaging boxes make great book covers. I've got a large piece of roofing felt that the builders gave me after they'd finished doing our roof - soft fabric but tough as old boots - melts like Tyvek too - fabulous for strong book spines. Tissue boxes and other packaging - great if they've got windows cut in them, and commercial envelopes with all that delicious pattern inside - everything goes in my stash. I use the backs of shiny advertising fliers to paint alcohol ink backgrounds. What you said at the beginning reminded me of our cats. They are always more interested in the packaging than the contents lol! Every time I get an Amazon delivery, the box gets put on the sitting room floor for Ruby to use. She can't resist a box. Great recycling! Also, I had to laugh because I'm always saying (looking at some rubbish or completely non-art related stuff), "I wonder if I could make art out of that..." to which my hubby replies with a resounding "NO!!" which I take to be a challenge to prove him wrong! I'm loving your channel and so happy to be a new subscriber.
Impressive idea ! So ingenious for getting our money’s worth from these bottles that would otherwise send up in the bin! I really appreciate this idea!
It looks like dragon skin! SO beautiful. Gotta try this. Love, love your channel. I found it last week and I'm binge watching. Sometimes watching a video more than once. Thank you!! 🧡
Truly fabulous and fun. Here is the USA I seldom receive tissue paper in packages. I guess I'll just have to hunt down some good stuff online. Thank you again for your inspiration.
One thing I like doing is to get the watered down last bit of paint in the bottle into a spray bottle, then spray it on to my papers. Another cool way to do it, but does give a different look. This is gorgeous
This DEFINITELY has that WOWOWOOW Factor! You are SO inventive. One of the main things I love about your videos is the rich, vibrant, DARK colors that you use on your projects. I have watched hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of other Artist videos and they all seem to use what I call "scrapbooking colors"... kind of like Floridian beachy colors - kid-like colors. Not a fan, even though they are quite nice. But YOURS... your tastes seem to run to the RICH VICTORIAN and Renaissance colors... dark Art Deco and so forth. BIG FAN! (: You are also quite entertaining which helps people learn more and retain what they've learned. Thank you SO MUCH! MUCH Love & Respect.... Deborah Kay Neumann
Thank you so much! 😘 Yes, I call them lolly pop colours & everybody does it! I’m like, what’s wrong with me? Lighten up! Haha! I’m so intense! But we have to be true to who we are, & that is just me! I love that description, dark Art Deco colours, yes!! Did you see my Art Deco inspired art journal page? If you find the right video, it will lead you to a free download of collage papers! 👍🏼😍 thanks for the love, much appreciation, cheers FroyleArt

I find the reverse always looks nicer as it creates a sheen by being against the plastic.
It so does! 😘👍🏼
There is plenty of beautiful life and colour appreciation in your work. You are a singular artist.
