    We apologize for the audio delay at times. Kolson is working on it. Do you like the new style and feel to the videos? Let us know, we appreciate your feedback :)

    Great comparison of post wet sand/compound steps Simon!! So gloss meter is only measuring one aspect of appearance, how would you rate the overall "eye test" of the 3? Sounds like purple is number 1 but did the orange though it had higher gloss out perform overall appearance to the yellow wool? Thanks for the great post!

      The eye test was very hard. They all looked similar. The foam pad did really well. Definitely a close 2nd. The foam or purple foamed wool were would be the best options in this specific situation!

    I like the new video style. Dont stress about the audio. It happens and i know youll get it worked out. Do you ever have an issue getting compound sling and sanding gunk out of sea deking?

    • @topdockpro
      @topdockpro  Рік тому

      Yes we do have that issue. Pressure washing, degreaser, and scrub brush helps a ton

    Were you using the purple foamed wool on a DA or a forced rotation? Do you think white wool followed by purple wool would be an acceptable 2 step for customers who aren't looking for perfection? The finish looked great on camera

      I was using the purple foamed wool on a forced rotation. Yes absolutely that’s acceptable. We do it all the time.

    do you notice a difference between the buff and shine wool pad and the 3m one? nice vid btw!

      I haven’t used the 3M one in so long. From what I remember they are similar. Good cut and both last a long time. I know the buff and shine one is much cheaper and does an excellent job.

    Long time fallower here. Any alternatives? Maybe Rupes Coarse wool white wool pad or yellow polishing wool pad or any other brand. There is no LC products in EU.☹️

      Probably should have picked up Starke Level R. I would buff it first with Level R, white wool pad, rotary buffer. Then polish with Starke Elevate and foam pad. Strip wash the boat. Apply Hyper Hold Pro

    Why didn't you just compound it

      Simple, too oxidized. Short term solution to a long term problem
