Catholic Speaker, Fr Rob Galea, shares another video from the 8-part teaching series of the sacraments of the Catholic Church.
In this video, Fr Rob explains how through the sacrament of Penance God welcomes us back into grace no matter what we have done to turn away from Him. Fr Rob explains the different ‘levels’ of sin and why we need to go to a priest to receive the sacrament of Reconciliation and how our own sin can affect the Body of Christ, the Church.

The Sacrament of Penance is very important and vital to maintain the Holy Spirit within us. We must acknowledge that we have sinned; confess our sins to a Priest as well as to Dear Jesus and God and sincerely ask for forgiveness from God and Jesus. I'm very thankful I was raised Catholic to learn and believe in the teachings of Jesus Christ and to acknowledge that yes; there is a much Higher Being than myself to answer to and to ask for forgiveness from. We need to be Humbled so as not to become smug and to think of ourselves as superior...Very good that you teach and talk about this Father Rob...Stay well and good work...

Thank you again, Father! It is indeed humbling to go to a priest to confess, but it helps when you know that the priest loves you as a soul created by God, and wants to be in union with you in the Mystical Body of Christ.
