Get more life out of your DI resin!! Best Spotless Water System

- In this video I show you how I stretched the life of my DI resin from 400 gallons to 4,000 gallons by using the Spotless Water Booster. The trick to long lasting DI resin is to clean the water before it reaches the resin. That’s what the spotless water booster does best. If you are interested in learning how a system like this can help your business. Been in the window cleaning industry for 16 years manufacturing systems,40/40 essential and then polish with resin. No brainier just down to education. Fantastic set up there mate, well done.
Thanks for watching!
Fantastic video my friend. Very informative. A no brainer
You and Tony biggest in the game...
What is the approximate cost of the system you prepared?
Very cool! This is a fairly common setup for those of us in the saltwater aquarium hobby. Once I found out about it from that hobby, I started applying it to my detail setup as well!
Glad to see you're also benefitting from this optimal setup!
It's also worth noting and calling out that the reverse osmosis process does create a lot of wastewater and so it's a good idea to leverage that wastewater for watering the lawn/plants and other uses where the quality of water isn't critical. 👍
Good for you. You had a great idea
This is awesome! I’m hoping to get my van and get this system next year, but for my solar panel cleaning system. One question I had, I plan on getting a water fed rotary brush, that requires about 1200-1800 psi of pressure. Would I be able to implement a pressure wash system using this set up with about 300 feet of hose. This hose will run from the street to the roof of the house.
Great question! Do you have a link to the brush you could share with me?
What is the maintenance that happens during that 4000 gallons and the costs associated with it? Cleaning sediment filters? RO prefilter replacement?
Excellent question.
Virtually 0 maintenance other than a few filter changes. Sediment and carbon block need to be changed out (replaced) every 2 months. Price breakdown is below.
Spotless Water Booster:
Sediment filter x2 - $48
Carbon Block x2 - $48
.5 cu ft DI resin - $160
Cost per gallon: $0.06 (resin still has more life but this gets you to 4,000 gallons) if it goes to 5,000 gallons before replacing the resin it brings my cost per gallon to $0.03, etc…
CR Spotless:
.5 cu ft DI resin x 10 - $1,600.00
Cost per gallon: $0.40
(.5 resin on the CR Spotless will last approx 400 gallons / 4,000. You will need to replace the resin 10 times in order to reach 4,000 gallons)
Hope this helps. RO filter is good for 2-3 years as long as you take care of it.
But his system is 6k. Yeah, no thanks. It's still cheaper to spend money on more frequent resin changes than his system. Yeah, no.
Beautiful system. Keep up the awesome work
Email sent! Looking forward to do business with you very soon! Thank you!
So I’m looking at purchasing one this winter and my question is my outside tap is directed on a water softener so will that help the residents last longer ?
Hey Rob it’s not recommended to run soft water through the system. Tap water is best.
@@SpotlessWaterGuy hi So I’m looking to purchase one but I wash my car only on the weekends I do two vehicles a weekend do I need the big two cylinders or just one as living in Ontario Canada the cost is about 900 bucks what are your thoughts and is that what they go for as that’s a lot of money
@@robl6044 hey Rob, with RODI systems each filter plays an important role in making spotless water. Can you clarify your comment for me? What costs $900?
@@SpotlessWaterGuy hi yes To buy the spotless the cost is round $900
@@robl6044 can you shoot me an email? Support@sudsandgo.com. Thanks brother
How far does the back of the board stick off the wall
My tds readings are 300 ppm how many gallons would I expect from your system
Hey Allen, great question. The answer depends on a few different factors like water temperature, feed quality at your customers location, how often you replace your pre filters, etc.. to give you a very rough estimate my ppm is around 400ppm. I’m getting approx 10,000 gallons on 1 cubic ft of DI resin. Which is around 4 resin refills with my system.
Is there anyway I can get a list of what to buy in order to do this at home please? I’m really interested.
The system is for sale at SpotlessWaterGuy.com
did you hit 4000 ?
I’m hoping by next year I’ll be able to get one 📈📈
Awesome. Here to help when you’re ready 👍
Why not respond to the questions, how much for the unit
Hey brother the price is on my website. I don’t post prices in comments because the price of the system changes. It’s very clear on my website how much the system costs. Cheers.
How much does it cost

Hi Steve! The technology is reverse osmosis!
What’s the price of the unit?
Is DI or RO system better for spot free water
DI
what do you do with the waste water from RO?
Water trees, bushes and plants
Where does the Reject water go from RO membrane?
Where ever you want it to go. I usually water my customers plants with it.
@@SpotlessWaterGuy awesome ! Great set up . Been thinking of using a membrane for a long time . I’m in the dialysis biz and we use all this stuff and love detailing cars on the side
