    You are being so disingenuous to your audience and maybe even to yourself. How many hundreds or thousands of dollars did you spent in new equipment and fittings and hoses and electrical parts to set up that additional pre system, not to mention the filters that will need to constantly be changed out in the new equipment that you added to pre clean the water prior to hitting your initial D I system. Totally misleading.

    Very nice system ! I get the water purification system as I use to build systems for the window cleaning & mobile detailing business. IMO I think DI really isn't needed. If your RO is producing single digit PPM or even 10-20 PPM there is no difference. I did a test with a old RO and a newer RO on a black car here in Arizona in July . There was no spotting. Even used DI water and there was no difference. Used a pressure washer for all testing. Even tested using well water and still no difference. For labs that build microchips etc, Yeah I can see that they would need DI water for cleaning but cars / solar panels or residential window cleaning I just dont think its needed plus its a extra expense .... Not that its all that expensive to replace. If I had to guess I would probably say the spot free rinse at car washes is probably just RO water but I could be wrong. If I am totally wrong about what I just posted it would be interesting to see a video from you showing the actual difference . Hopefully you dont take this post wrong but just seeing all these videos from people . companies trying to sell you on DI systems like the CR SPOTLESS ! Here in Arizona in some cities around here one of those systems would probably last for 1-2 cars and 3 at most before you would have to purchase DI again.

      Whoa dude I am highly offended jkjk 😂 I love to hear opinions. Here’s the thing and why I can never settle for water above 000ppm. I advertise that I only use laboratory grade spot-free water. Its a selling point in my business. I go as far as to bring my clients out to my detailing rigs, I show them a sample of their own water and then show them a sample of my own water. When they see those triple 000’s they eat that stuff up! They love it. When I’m cleaning million dollar RVs or other really expensive cars, those type of clients know what deionized water is. When they see the level of perfection I’m chasing, it brings me more credibility and makes them more confident in me as their detailer. Youre right the water is almost perfect with RO but if your going to bring it to that level of clean you might as well take it all the way. It really doesn’t cost that much more as you’ve mentioned. Thanks for your comment brother it’s appreciated.

    I don’t understand this video, it’s an RO system. Why all the fuss abut the resin? Your resin is doing nothing, you go from 400ppm to 10ppm with the RO, at this point your water is pure water. 10ppm is literally nothing.

    What a great solution! One of the many reason DI systems don't always have the best reviews is people dive in not knowing their own water quality or the flow rate needed and then blame the system. One other thing it would be a good idea to tell people the negatives of RO such as waste water as many have no idea about that part of these systems especially in really bad water areas as that waste water is so concentrated it can damage plant life. Of course most mobile detailers buying this system probably already know about waste water. Amazing system you have here!

      I’ve used RO/DI system for years and hate how finicky the RO membranes are and the waste water they produced. I just recently stumbled onto the spotless water thing. For a DIY’er and a former person who needed RO/di quality water….going with 2 20” canisters filled with DI resin to rinse/wash with seems the best route to go, for someone like me. My TDS is under 200ppm (municipal water) and I think I could get at about the 300 gallons with decent flow rate at zero TDS range before having to regen the resin. Your system is beautiful, nice job!

    • @SpotlessWaterGuy
      @SpotlessWaterGuy 3 місяці тому

      @@mikepineda9022 The problem lies in the cost per gallon with DI resin. RO membranes really are not expensive when you consider how long they last. When you let RO do the heavy lifting your cost per gallon goes down substantially. Scaling a membrane can take years. One of the smartest things you can do to cut costs on spotless water is shift away from relying on DI resin alone and focus on RO.
