[Memory Imprints] Never End - Fear Factory guitar cover

My rendition of Fear Factory's "[Memory Imprints] Never End", 11th and closing track of the 'Digimortal' album...another one of my top-favorite tunes of theirs, and like with the previous video I did of "Resurrection" - can't really give full-justice to this stellar tune as an isolated guitar-only performance...but at the same time, that's what made it fun - to bounce around and arrange other parts (synth and bass) on guitar here and there...especially the intro and final third of the song, it was cool to mess with the phase-shifter and sweep echo effects for those synth parts (I went with the synth chord progression for that final third), it captures that 'atmospheric/space-ambient' vibe nicely. I did the first chorus (1:24) more like the album, and the 2nd chorus (2:05) was actually my own 'variation' (which was loosely inspired by FF's chorus of their first version of this song "Will This Never End"), I was dinging around and stumbled upon that and was like "hey, that actually kind of fits and feels nice too", so I thought it would be fun to utilize, and it spices things up a little too...and for the final chorus (3:26) I did 4 passes of each version. The not-so-fun part of all this? Those natural harmonics...getting those to cooperate consistently was a chore to say the least (even with added delay to the distortion, which kiiiiind of helped, but certainly not 100% fool-proof)...not perfect, but they're about as solid as I'm going to get them in a live isolated take overall. But anyway, enjoy!
The main theme has something magical about it. Delay adds to the mood. Great dynamics. 🔥🔥

As I wrote before, I've been watching you since 2010. And you're one of the people who made me start playing guitar. Your covers inspire me to keep doing this. (yeah, when I started watching your covers, I was 15 years old. Now I'm 28. :D ^^ )

Thanks again! (I've been digging your latest FF stuff too btw) Yeah, it turned out a little better than I expected, especially the arrangement of the final third synth stuff (and that could potentially open the door for arranging something else that's non-guitar eventually, like "Timelessness")
