I was with you in that storm on Monday. Made it to Swift Current absolutely exhausted. Piapot to Swift Current took nearly 2 hours! Just before I got in the TC actually disappeared, all us trucks were doing 50 with our hazards on just staying in the middle of the road since you couldn’t even see the shoulders. Glad you stayed safe!

I think Diesel really likes that new mattress. Looking forward to your going home too. No matter how well you set a good example for others to follow, & still have to be tolerant of the few who are inconsiderate. I hope you & Diesel get home safely.

JOSH!!! Stop using your tee shirt to clean (or re-smear) the crud on your glasses! Every time you do, you are scratching them and you'll regret it in a few months! Run them under warm water with a bit of hand soap on your fingertips, dry with a CLEAN cloth not used for anything else! I get a full three years of use opposed to 9 months and looking through spiderwebs!

Cat scale has had an app out for weighing for the last couple of years at least. So much easier and faster than hitting the call button. And you can either roll on with the PDF file of the ticket or go on in for the physical paper. I doubt you need it since you very rarely scale at them any more but always good to know.

I only drive my small Volkswagen and my blood boils when I see people double parked or parked crooked. lol. Looks cozy in your truck though, especially when you're in a snowstorm, but you're right. It's pretty when you're warm inside your house. Not so much when you have to de-frost your door handle, unstuck your door, spend 10 min heating up your car so your windows don't fog over and then slide to work at 50 km/h. XD

They really should make heated wipers, i hate when ice builds up on the wipers
They make both heated wipers and some that have this really unique vibration function to loosen ice build up. As to how well they work I don't know.

A driver at the Pilot in Ellensburg, Washington killed one of our drivers walking across the parking lot nascaring to the pumps plus texting while driving. That O/O is now sitting in prison awaiting trial for vehicular homicide. You can find the video on UA-cam.

I have seen almost double the winters you have and at this stage of my life I dread winter and its -40c temps and the snow, scraping ice off the car and shovelling the snow.
i mean -40c isnt very hard to manage in a 4wheeler as long as you can get it to start.
@@mjj789 Bingo. Used to work where they had out the torch to warm up the oil pans when their delivery trucks even when they were plugged in did not work. Reefers also had issues

Can’t understand why you went to the CAT scale. You said you are not taking it across the border, but only to the company yard. If they have a free one at the yard wouldn’t the driver who’s taking it across the border just use the free scale at the yard before he leaves?
I drove but just over snoqualmie pass in washiington and it was fairly stressful but this guys always in it. So i m retired and grab a blanket and glad i m not him anymore

Most drivers now have the Cat Scale app an don't even have too press the call button. Just bring up the app, scale location an get weighed an it's sent too their email. I know ya don't have too scale much nowadays though Joah.
