- RETURN TO MIRA 2025
Having finally completed a Wii U playthrough of this game after what was likely a year of constantly putting it off, I am officially spoiler-free and await further content provided by the Definitive Edition. Until then, I want to take a few minutes to discuss two of my greatest interests that this game had to offer; the lesser-examined Divine Roost and the popular Superboss Telethia, the Endbringer & pitch an idea or two on what purpose they serve amidst the lack of world lore.
If you're new, consider Subscribing, and you'll be able to catch the eventual follow-up short essays I have planned once I finish their scripts. For my more loyal fans, I promise that I have my reasons (and excuses) for the lack of content over the past year or two, so stay tuned as I intend to put out a video regarding the well-being of my channel.

It's 2024 and we finally have Xenoblade X theories back in full swing. We truly live in the best timeline.
It is so cool to see a video analysing the ecology of Xenoblade X's flora and fauna! I'm sure there's heaps of thought put into the design of this world that we've barely scratched the surface of.
This has been a theory I've been trying to solve since X came out on the Wii U.
It makes perfect sense why the Telethia in the world of Bionis attacked the dimensional rift in the first place at the end of Future Connected. Those Telethia were attempting to eliminate the impure life, and possibly one of them went through the rift and ended up on Mira somehow becoming the Endbringer.
Telethia were created to protect the Bionis. But with Zanza defeated, Telethia don't see Homs (or, in this case, humans) as impure life anymore. The Endbringer is still sticking to its primordial instincts, except this time it's protecting Mira.
Yea the segue from FC to X is prolly the most common theory I hear about, never looked too much into it myself cuz I wasn’t sure how much I bought it but I actually never thought about it this way. Maybe Definitive Edition’s story continuation may even confirm it, who knows?
@@MewTubeHKdo you sugest that X for switch, will have some additional content?
Great video, I’m so glad we, as a society, are finally acknowledging X, my favourite game of all time. The world of Mira holds so many different bits of interesting lore and I cannot wait to explore it all over again.
Looking forward to fighting Endbringer and the Everqueen in a proper fight next year! I've never been able to beat either before but it'll be a fun challenge to take them on again.
Underated , i loved Xcx , and i still love it today
Great theory, I love the idea that the Telethia specifically goes after stuff that it deems impure or threatening to life on Mira and it watches over the Divine Roost because it could become a threat if left unchecked
Love this analysis it's refreshing to have worldbuilding theories like this, I've been doing my own short theories on monsters and this has shown me how I need to go deeper into looking at the surrounding environments, nearby monsters and real life inspirations especially when I start covering X tyrants
Hope you'll do more like this too
This deserves more views
Glad this popped in my recommended (yeah i been binge watching X video lately lol) Wasn't excepting such an in depth lesson in biology. Would be awesome if any of this made it in additional content for the Definitive Edition. Either way i'm hype and this video is great, gg
Excited to play again in march, with new content! We used to pray for days like these.
Something that's interesting is that the Orphe speculate that Noctilum may have something to do with their origin, and then the Tainted aren't able to survive outside of Noctilum and are also consumed by a sort of parasite. Then there's the divine roost that may also be a parasite. Since all three of these are connected to noctilum in some way it makes me wonder if they have some link.
XCX is my 3rd favorite game of all time. I'm so excited to play it yet again in march
I really appreciate XCX videos like this. Keep it coming!
I am reeeeeeeaaalllyyyy fascinated by the connections X has to the rest of the franchise (telethia's existence, tatsu mentioning the homs, etc). endbringer was the most genuinely beautiful thing i discovered while exploring this game and i cant wait to see if there will be any potential elaborations in the extra story.
they cant just leave this mysterious land here for no reason. i'd like to believe there is a continuation about the telethia and divine roost in the extra story, considering that it seems to be about lao and we see the telethia for the first time with lao, but those two arent really connected at all, its just piecing together a small coincidence -_- im just really dying for an elaboration here
I hope you make a video about J-bodies before XCX remastered comes out. I really think that's a lingering plot thread/mystery that will be picked back up in the Remaster, and it'd be nice to have a video like yours discussing it.
Endbringer Malos/Logos,
Ruler of fates Alvis/Ontos,
Steward of all life, Pneuma.
Even just as a reference/easter egg maybe?? 👀
My theories :
-Every song in Xenoblade were most likely the point of view of one of the protagonists ("A Moment of Eternity" - Lora/Jin, "Walking With You" - Mythra). Thus I guess "Uncontrollable" could be the point of view of Lao.
The song talks about a couple on the brink of collapse("Every time I ask the smallest thing You get mad or just ignore" - "There's no direction for us Here it comes the endless fight").
Despite that, they found hope and a possible future together ("let's get start again, do not tire yourself, we'll get back the life for ourself today") thanks to a certain "spaceship we can ride" (The White Whale?)
Lao mentioned that if he embarked on the White Whale, it wasn't for humanity's sake, but for his wife and child
No wonder Lao broke down, if not only the Earth Colonisation Project betrayed everyone (only the elite and soldiers would embark in the end), but also denied Lao the second chance he longed for.
-I'm pretty sure that the dude at the end of the trailer (with Lao at the beach) is none other than.... MALOS.
We know that Malos was keen on producing Artificial Life Forms (he had 2 armies of Artificial Blades in Xeno 2). Luxxar even said that the Ganglion are also artificial life forms, one that was created to help Hom-Homz/Samaariens for whatever reasons
If Malos has nothing to do with the Ganglion, he still must have a link with the BLADE (in japanese, BLADE stands for Beyond the LOGOS Artificial Destiny Emancipator). Logos? Artificial? There's a leitmotiv here
-Going back to Torna's events : Malos loses his datas, and aimed to get them back from Mythra. While he hacks her memories, it seems he just happened to learn about Aion existence, which would indicate that Aion was meant for Mythra (When Mythra goes berserk, we even see Aion waking up, illustrating this link)
So Mythra had Siren and Aion
Malos also had his Siren, but no Aion-like entity... could the Vita be Malos' own Aion? (Ns' sword where Malos resides in Xeno3, confirmed by Takahashi himself, is violet. The Vita ALSO is violet)
There are plotholes, maybe lots of contradiction (found a lot while reading), but hell that was fun to make
Waiter, waiter! More X theories please!
Isn’t mira the fused world from xenoblade 3, but from a distant and technological future?
It's still unclear
