My god I thought this myself watching your prior videos that mention each race arrive on Mira due to flash of light and though "Huh, that sounds like how it looked when the two worlds collided in the flashback". I've just finished the video and here's an angle- What if rather than Aionios, Mira IS Moebius? That would explain their understanding of Nopon not supposed to be interfering, as they'd be native to Mira in a sort of similar way to the Telethia to Zanza. I'd love a video on the concept that Mira is Moebius itself, drawing in beings desperately trapped in an overwhelming desire to survive
For the longest time, my theory was that Mira was Ontos. Because: Ontos traveled through space and time so he could have gone BACK in time to when a section of humanity fled Earth. Blades become titans when they die of old age and if anything's going to be a planet-sized titan, it would be an Aegis. And lastly, the supernatural properties Mira has could very easily be properties of an Aegis titan. But the DLC pretty much debuked that
No, I had the same theory for ages too. But for now, I don’t think it’ll be debunked in the DLC, since we still don’t know if Xeno X truly happened after the events of 1,2, & 3. So it’s still possible. Right now, I’m starting to believe that Mira is a FUTURE Mira, happening again after 1 & 2’s worlds 2nd collision but without Moebius. Their worlds collide again but Origin is absorbed into the core of the planet, reducing destruction. That’s why when the lifehold falls into Mira, it is preserved by a supercomputer. I assumed this computer to be Ontos, but it might actually be Origin(Alvis might be in Origin but still).
@@CJluvsMJ27 But Origin wasn't meant to keep the universes together, that's why annihilation events were occurring. I'd say it's possible that Origin could get some upgrades but I don't see why that would happen and the universes becoming so near each other was the only reason they could communicate. With them going there separate ways they couldn't coordinate anymore
I'm not sure I followed any of that rose garden stuff, but I will say that I'm under the impression the lifehold can create NEW human life, just not transfer our heroes back into flesh and blood.
Now that 3 has given a good end point to 1 and 2, with 3's DLC hopefully adding the last finishing touches, I'm really looking forward to X2 finally getting developed, and a 1/2 prequel where we get to see the creation of those universes where we play as or fight against the Saviorites or Klaus.
Mira always seemed like an experiment, as that part in which the characters comment about being able to understand other races and species was weird and the Nopons (if I remember correctly) saying that's how it is in Mira. So, something like an ant farm.
2:03 The main character wears red clothes and has blue eyes. The party uses kevesi arts. There are a lot of callbacks to XB1, and not only from nopon. Mira works like Aionios. The telethia and the tainted monsters are referenced in Future Connected and this epilogue and XB3 focuses on the future. I don't think X is set in another universe, as Takahashi only said that every Xenoblade game is part of the same continuity, not necessarily that every game is set on its own universe. I think It's set in the same universe (remember, universe, a WHOLE f*cking universe, where anything can happen) as XB1, just in the future. Mira represents the idea of every life in this new universe walking towards the future hand in hand. For me, X was the true sequel to XB1.
We know that 2, X, and 3 were all more or less developed at the same time. Perhaps there are still references to 2 within Mira. You could argue that Sylvalum does seem to resemble a heavily decayed Genbu/Tantal.
And those spherical fungi look like the same stuff that was inside the Bionis, though I think I remember some from 2 as well so maybe it's just a design motif
In my own head cannon, Xenoblade is like TRON, or the "twist" of Star Ocean being done correctly... That it's all taking place inside the security safety simulation with Ontos overseeing it... And that the series will end with Klaus running the experiment ANYWAYS... Just cut to black as he hits the button... I just feel there are WAY too many things that point to it all being a simulation...
Xenoblade X is like Mortal Combat X, it's the tenth game in the series. Once you've played Xenoblades 4 through 9 it'll be obvious how they all fit together.
The moment i saw Moebius and Ouroboros i started to think that they retooled some ideas intended for the original story of X. I believe that the Ghosts might’ve been that universes Ouroboros and the Black Knight and others working with him were Moebius. That is what was missing from the Vita, a second pilot to unite souls with the other. The Rose Garden absolutely was Origin and the mysterious tower in the concept is who you would access it much like the World Tree in Xenoblade 2
What if Mira is a shadow of xenoblade 3 even tho the original worlds split it left a pocket dimension in the world kind of like a tumor , the world is still frozen do to the fact it still exists. Everything is still there and that is what happened to the old civilization. An the only residents are ones sucked in from other dimensions that can’t escape which is why nobody knew Mira existed. the humans still are alive because their regrets through mobeus stoped their time. Just a thought…
So, who here used the store shutdown as an excuse to play X again? And yes, that includes those of you who *COULDN"T* because your Wii U stopped working. I'm asking about intent here, not just success.
Well the news of it certainly got me wanting to play my (now defunct) Wii U again if that counts haha. Managed a chapter or two of X before it stopped working. But I remember struggling with that final boss all that time ago
@@saffronubhi5066 A little late, but for the final phase: The trick is to disembark from your Skell as soon as the cutscene ends. If the bot isn't running, the boss' opening power that drains it of fuel won't work on it. At that point simply get back into the Skell and kick its butt. It also helped that I had also unlocked the weakest of the Lv 60 Skells (DLC in Japan) and thus had access to weapons far stronger than the boss was designed around.
@@Starcat5 oh wow, thanks! I certainly wish I knew that back on my first playthrough haha. But if I ever get the Wii U fixed and get to the final boss on my second go, I'll bear this in mind 🙂
My own theory for XCX, from back when I finished it, was a time loop - I figured those nodes you were placing around Mira to scan the data would one day become widespread and powerful enough to be used to create Mira. Basically, I believe Mira was a simulated space (because it was said at one point that 'space' around Mira was limited to like, a few lightyears or something), and because of that one NPC who claimed to be the from the future, I imagined that eventually the humans of Mira would find a way to leave this pocket dimension and would arrive in the pre-history of the real universe, where they would be responsible for seeding life. They'd use a more power, widespread version of that scanning node tech we set up around Mira that would encompass several solar systems, and the data generated from that scan would eventually take the form of the world of Mira. Throughout history, some spacefaring races would accidentally find their way into the Mira pocket dimension. Upon entry, their data would be scanned by the system, allowing free communication between all species, as was touched on, and allowing for, say, the humans to continue to exist without the Lifehold - because while the data was destroyed in the Lifehold, it became part of Mira's information network, and continued to exist. It was a silly theory but I never really saw anything to disprove it
When I played X on the Wii U back then, I explained it to myself like this: after the end of the first Xenoblade game, the earth and the universe were recreated (this time with aliens) and Mira is what was left of Bionis and Mechonis. So it's a kind of new loop. But I assume that after Future Redeemed it will be retconned anyway.
I have a theory: The DLC establishes that the Origin Project is veering too close to playing God, as Klaus did. Moebius establishes that even the democratization of godhood can yield horrendous evil. Xenoblade Chronicles 3 establishes the desperation of the worlds to reunite, felt no more potently than by those who had felled Moebius themselves, and perhaps their progenitors, the previous casts. Xenovlade Chronicles 4 picks up directly where 3 left off, and is about the two now-separated worlds yearning to reunite safely. In the end, they accomplish this, but at a great cost not easily seen in the moment - humanity has again ascended the metaphorical tower of babel and begun to play god once more. This time, they succeeded. The two worlds reunite in an odd plane of existence beyond time and space, with the ability to travel outwards to an entirely new world of their creation. They become destined to develop the arrogance of the Samaarians. Realizing this, at least some of our heroes create the Rose Garden, and turn their soon-abandoned homeworld of Mira into the place at which life from across the stars will be preserved, as a small act of resistance and failsafe against the arrogance of the monster they have unleashed. At least some Nopon choose to stay behind, and eventually the tales of the old heroes fade slowly into myth. The people of the Rose Garden then continue to spread out over the generations, doing their part to undermine the Samaarians' conquests and slaving, protecting the life of the new universe however they can. The Samaarians eventually recreate the original humans, and the Rose Garden hides their true origin from them to protect them from the arrogance of gods. However, in their heart, some humans still remember bits and pieces of the legends of the old worlds. Finally, we arrive at Xenoblade Chronicles X.
In this theory, Xenoblade Chronicles 4 would be a contradiction of the themes of letting go that Xenoblade 3 established, and that would be the _point._ It could also directly thematically rebuke those who played Xemoblade 3, only to wish for the endless now and have another game where they can see Noah and Mio again.
That's what I am saying since the trailer ! Maybe I'm dreaming but a lot of Xenoblade x race are kinda evolution of preexisting Xenoblade 1 race. The Wrothian gormotti (I know it's XC2), the illusian machina, the Clue (Celica) hight entia, and Elma had a a cristal containing her memories (core cristal) in some artwork. + When you looks some item called ouroboros cristal or the Melia feather. At last remember the zu pharg. Xenoblade x chapter 10 boss. He get a second phase when the transformation looks like origin during Z second phase.
Hear me out... Xenosaga 1, 2, 3 happen in that order. Klaus Experiment happens shortly before the opening scene of Xenogears, the large ship we see are people fleeing from a perceived Destroyed Earth. Xenoblade Chronicles 1 and 2 happen alongside Xenogears unreleased Chapter 1 to 4. Xenoblade Chronicles 3/ Xenoblade Chronicles X Xenogears (chapter 5) happens Xenogears chapter 6 to tie every reality together again. Yes i added other Xeno games in the mix.
You say that the 1 references in X are probably just fanservice, referencing the Nopon, and if it were only the Nopon and collectables, I'd be inclined to agree with you; however, I think the more damning evidence comes from the Orphean questline which directly traces the origin of their virus to the Eryth Sea - and a lot of the minor dialogue from npcs and the weapon/armor corporations holds a lot of interesting nods towards the connections between Mira's ether and that of 1's world. While I think it's really fair to say that 1, 2, and 3 have had their own direction, I think it's a little unfair to chalk a connection that was clearly intentioned, at least at the time, up to just fanservice.
I hope they do more with Xenoblade X to hint at more connections to the mainline series. A new continent with nods to Xenoblade 2 to explore in the DE would be really cool. As for when X DE will happen we'll probably get some news about it when Nintendo have their first Direct for the Switch 2 as I can see it coming out within the first 2 years of the system's life, if they haven't been twiddling their thumbs on the port.
I feel like if Takahashi knows that we can deduce what will happen after Xenoblade 3 and Wave 4, then it is definitely implied that X will not only return, but will be renamed Xenoblade 4. 3 is the culmination of Klaus’s experiment, and it’s hard to imagine what would be next. X is the only game in the series that has not properly concluded. I do think that X could be called Xenoblade 4 for a few reasons. Monolith and Nintendo may want to advertise X as a continuation of the main series rather than a spin off to garner more interest. It would make a lot of sense to rename X to 4 if Wave 4 implies a return to X. Also, X has plenty of references to 1 and even 3 (Hom hom, frontier village, ouroboros crystal). There are definitely a lot of arguments made against this theory, but it’s something that’s been on my mind and I do not put it past Takahashi to pull this on us.
so... off topic to this video a bit, I've been playing future connected again and had a new opinion of the rift. so this might already be a theory out there that I have not seen, but what if the rift is the point in space where Alvis 'absconded' from the xbc1 universe. the rift isnt an omen really, its a tear created by alvis leaving when the conduit left xbc2 universe. and maybe it began as like a quantum scale tear, and after rebirth of universe has been growing steadily, connecting the multiverse. and once it grew to a certain size, then horrors from other universes could start pouring in. its connecting us to the future of xenoblade games because its literally the multiverse. black fog from FC and 3 are different in that purple xbc3 fog was two worlds merging, whereas FC fog source was golden from multiple universes overlapping.
I still believe that X's universe is where the Earth was actually sent into by Klaus' experiment. As for Mors land, it is the only remain of the original Earth. And if you ask me, I'll say it is Mors Island, Denmark.
Hmmm…future connected. Future redeemed. The future actions led to the destruction of earth and the world of X? Kind of a time paradox like thing that is only possible with a zohar or a conduit…
I have dedicated quite a big time to xenoblade and also digged back to xenogears and saga just because. Playtime between everything is around 3000 hours and X is the ine that takes the most. I believe X takes place far away from xenoblade 2s earth but in the same universe. Xenoblade 1 athough by the end it says there will be a lot of lifeforms, it is still limited by providence (or the zohar) so For as much as i like the ideas of alternate universes, our very own universe is vast enough to have different forms of life somewhere, additionally, if you are a believer of an “infinite” universe then you must know infinites tend to repetition. With that said, x universe starts with another “earth” far away from original pre Claus earth, events of X move forward as they travel the universe in search for a new home. Lets go back to Claus here now, he does his thing and the universe implodes on earth then gets back to its original form, creating in the process a separate universe (XC1). But what happened to the original one? XC2 happened, yes but also Mira. XC2 earth continues to exist as a planet in the universe but the rest of the universe must have also been affected, those white lights beifre everyone happens to be on Mira are from the moment claus did his thing. Mira is pretty much like xenoblade 1’s world, a self contained world created during Claus’ event, catching and trapping by sections of the universe different populations, there must be then more Miras. other people must have remained in the original universe, right? Yes, but not many, consider just how many liferforms we see still roaming in Morita, few considering it must have been a large city. Basically Xenoblade 1 world and Mira are separate worlds from the original world. X’s Mira happens to have gathered a chunk of the universe with poblematic races and humans, this makes Mira the perfect spinoff place for a spin off series. As for who the sammar are, they guys who left the Zohar on earth for Claus and Co to use. Last is, why then would Mira not collide with the other universes? I dont know but it feel the collision has more to do with the trinity processor being split, I feel this is Alvis’ fault for ending outside of the original universe… reminds me of Digimon 1 when the universes were colliding because Digimon were on our universe so the digimon universe was reaching for them. So because mira has none of the trinity processors, they just drift away never to be bothered.
Great vid as always, but just one thing. Are we sure X should be called a spin-off? Imo it should be considered a side series or a parallel series because it’s almost identically a Xenoblade game in every other way, it’s just set in a non directly connected part of the multiverse and has more multiplayer and western game elements (open world, custom characters). Also to align your theory with the actions and vibe of the precursor race, what if Mira’s purpose isn’t preservation for the sake of preservation, but preservation for the sake of collection. Ie they’re gathering all these things together so they can do whatever they want with them like sell them off or experiment on them etc etc.
I recently had thoughts about Mira drawing all these different races in specifically because it’s where they originated from- the Orphe finding out that Ovah can be taken in like a disease, and then them developing a gender binary on the planet- zaruboggens finding their origins on this planet, and seeing that they were evidently made by humans- could support this idea if there were more things found for other races. I also had thoughts on 3 being Takahashi “reusing” the old concepts from X. Endless now vs World locked up in a war, Lifehold and Origin similarities- it may just be Takahashi remaking X to be more story based like it was originally intended
The endless now is basically just a different scale of what Wilhelm wanted for the universe in saga. Hell, Z is basically Wilhelm. He embodies fear of the inevitable. And mobius are basically testaments but more grounded. Going further. Noah and Mio are very much parallels of Fei and Elly from gears, reincarnating lovers with constant tragic ends. 3 definitely 'reused' concepts from all over the xeno series, and it used them spectacularly too. I think I kind of lost track of where I was going with that to be honest
I think there are a few other cool interpretations for origin! It feels like a makeshift emulator to me. The lights are similar to the motes of the conduit disappearinf at the end of 2. Origin feels like a way to capture that energy. Also it looks more like deus than gnosis planet imo
Xenoblade and monolith soft is owned by Nintendo 😂 Whenever Nintendo does cool stuff fans from other platforms can't accept that Nintendo does actually do more cool stuffs but they can't accept it because their belief Nintendo is only kiddy stuff only.
nan, for me xeno X was xeno 4 in refuse earth in FAR FAR futur (remabern xeno X was lunch befor xeno 2, and in eventualy remake, they can make esters egg of 2 like ontos core crystal) but te part of re use idée for xeno 3 was cool

XC1 definitive edition disproved that Mira was Ontos
@@mysteriouscolours1532 nope
I'm not sure I followed any of that rose garden stuff, but I will say that I'm under the impression the lifehold can create NEW human life, just not transfer our heroes back into flesh and blood.
Now that 3 has given a good end point to 1 and 2, with 3's DLC hopefully adding the last finishing touches, I'm really looking forward to X2 finally getting developed, and a 1/2 prequel where we get to see the creation of those universes where we play as or fight against the Saviorites or Klaus.
Finally feasting on an X video again.
So the conclusion is that...
It's something about this planet?
Yes
Mira always seemed like an experiment, as that part in which the characters comment about being able to understand other races and species was weird and the Nopons (if I remember correctly) saying that's how it is in Mira.
So, something like an ant farm.
I just remember Tatsu saying that the party spoke fluent noponese and that he was very impressed. I'm guessing you got this from other nopon though
Nintendo told Monolith Soft that they can't port Xenoblade Chronicles X so they decided to hide it in Xenoblade Chronicles 3
2:03
The main character wears red clothes and has blue eyes.
What was he cooking??
Xenoblade X is like Mortal Combat X, it's the tenth game in the series.
Once you've played Xenoblades 4 through 9 it'll be obvious how they all fit together.
Half way through your comment I stopped to count all the xeno games in my head only to continue reading and see that's not what you were getting at
I was just thinking this exact thing yesterday. Perfect timing. Love your vids.
Finally able to watch de video ! X was really cool !
12:12 I don’t. If you want to preserve endangered species, you’d better believe the first step is preserving their habitat.
Me... I try to beat telethia on the online one last time with my debuff+ black bane and smooth recovery build 😢
@@Starcat5 oh wow, thanks! I certainly wish I knew that back on my first playthrough haha. But if I ever get the Wii U fixed and get to the final boss on my second go, I'll bear this in mind 🙂
1:18 - "If you've seen some of my older X videos..." - Luxin 😅
I hope Xenoblade X Remaster will be the next drop on Switch. Comon Nintendo, its one of the last WiiU Exclusivs left.
If a remake comes between every full installment it’s possible
I have a theory:
The DLC establishes that the Origin Project is veering too close to playing God, as Klaus did.
TLDR: well that sure is interesting.
i have had a theory with my brother for a couple of months now, that Mira and the Bionis were on the same planet. So this video caught my interest
Well speak of the devil I was about to look at your X let's play when this popped up.
Oh, I thought I should mention, they’re technically a lot of earthlike planets, so a secondary earth wouldn’t be surprising in Xenoblade X
Hm, interesting thought, i wonder if we’ll find out at some point.
Don’t think I didn’t catch that OP meme
Xenoblade x is Xenoblade 10 .... I believe
I have not seen a single person talking or theorizing about Nia and Melia speaking through the medium of "light"
Need some deep dives into this
So this is where your video from Twitter was from
Also, there’s another theory, that origin becomes Mira billions of years later.
Xenoblade Y when? ;D
god; I need another X game so badly
Love the XCX content
man I really need to sit down and play XCX since I'm already in the waiting room for Wave 4 XC3 DLC. May as well finish off the series!
Look at the cope callers prepping for the incoming X canonical connections / re-release.
Your channel hooked me in with an hour long trails video. I subscribed and then found out you only make xeno content. I feel lied too.
Too late, you one of us now.
ONE OF US ONE OF US (This is not a cult)
TL;DR: Mehmehmeh, I got my XenoX mechs so I'm BIG HAPPYYYYYYYY!!1
Hear me out...
Xenosaga 1, 2, 3 happen in that order.
Klaus Experiment happens shortly before the opening scene of Xenogears, the large ship we see are people fleeing from a perceived Destroyed Earth.
Xenoblade Chronicles 1 and 2 happen alongside Xenogears unreleased Chapter 1 to 4.
Xenoblade Chronicles 3/ Xenoblade Chronicles X
Xenogears (chapter 5) happens
Xenogears chapter 6 to tie every reality together again.
I don't remember Eryth Sea being referenced directly.
nice vid bro.. ur the best
There are definitely a lot of arguments made against this theory, but it’s something that’s been on my mind and I do not put it past Takahashi to pull this on us.
hell yes more xenoblade x theories
so... off topic to this video a bit, I've been playing future connected again and had a new opinion of the rift. so this might already be a theory out there that I have not seen, but what if the rift is the point in space where Alvis 'absconded' from the xbc1 universe. the rift isnt an omen really, its a tear created by alvis leaving when the conduit left xbc2 universe. and maybe it began as like a quantum scale tear, and after rebirth of universe has been growing steadily, connecting the multiverse. and once it grew to a certain size, then horrors from other universes could start pouring in. its connecting us to the future of xenoblade games because its literally the multiverse. black fog from FC and 3 are different in that purple xbc3 fog was two worlds merging, whereas FC fog source was golden from multiple universes overlapping.
Answer: Yesn't
Okay, Grandpa, let's get you to bed.
14:20 XCX was a BotW test. BotW2 is out and XCX2 is not
I still believe that X's universe is where the Earth was actually sent into by Klaus' experiment.
As for Mors land, it is the only remain of the original Earth. And if you ask me, I'll say it is Mors Island, Denmark.
Earth wasn't sent anywhere, it became Alrest.
I can't tell if this is an April fool's joke or not
what's the name of the song at the start of the video? (1:00)
7:57 till you can WHAT?
I like to KISS.
Xeno X works as Xenogears prequel and why not just keep it as it?
I was thinking that Mira is the Eden Adam & Eve got banished from?
I wonder if N is a reused concept for the dark knight from X
I think Mira is just a prototype for Aionios, but not a canonical prototype. Monolith Soft just took some elements from X and moved them over to 3
Luxin are you Mira?
I think there are a few other cool interpretations for origin! It feels like a makeshift emulator to me. The lights are similar to the motes of the conduit disappearinf at the end of 2. Origin feels like a way to capture that energy. Also it looks more like deus than gnosis planet imo
I really need to get my hands on a copy of X at some point…
In Noctilum i remember two zones with whale in the names.
Uraya?
Could be the story eventually leads to Xenoblade Chronicles X DE with extended story or something like that.
#RemasterXenobladeX
XCX will be canon and Tyrea is best girl
I really want X to be on switch or even PlayStation
about that
Xenoblade and monolith soft is owned by Nintendo 😂
Whenever Nintendo does cool stuff fans from other platforms can't accept that Nintendo does actually do more cool stuffs but they can't accept it because their belief Nintendo is only kiddy stuff only.
nan, for me xeno X was xeno 4 in refuse earth in FAR FAR futur (remabern xeno X was lunch befor xeno 2, and in eventualy remake, they can make esters egg of 2 like ontos core crystal) but te part of re use idée for xeno 3 was cool
Does Brazil exist in Aionios
3:00 because xc3 never happened
