Great video, I’m so glad we, as a society, are finally acknowledging X, my favourite game of all time. The world of Mira holds so many different bits of interesting lore and I cannot wait to explore it all over again.

It's 2024 and we finally have Xenoblade X theories back in full swing. We truly live in the best timeline.

Something that's interesting is that the Orphe speculate that Noctilum may have something to do with their origin, and then the Tainted aren't able to survive outside of Noctilum and are also consumed by a sort of parasite. Then there's the divine roost that may also be a parasite. Since all three of these are connected to noctilum in some way it makes me wonder if they have some link.

Endbringer Malos/Logos, Ruler of fates Alvis/Ontos, Steward of all life, Pneuma. Even just as a reference/easter egg maybe?? 👀

Great theory, I love the idea that the Telethia specifically goes after stuff that it deems impure or threatening to life on Mira and it watches over the Divine Roost because it could become a threat if left unchecked

It is so cool to see a video analysing the ecology of Xenoblade X's flora and fauna! I'm sure there's heaps of thought put into the design of this world that we've barely scratched the surface of.

Looking forward to fighting Endbringer and the Everqueen in a proper fight next year! I've never been able to beat either before but it'll be a fun challenge to take them on again.

This has been a theory I've been trying to solve since X came out on the Wii U. It makes perfect sense why the Telethia in the world of Bionis attacked the dimensional rift in the first place at the end of Future Connected. Those Telethia were attempting to eliminate the impure life, and possibly one of them went through the rift and ended up on Mira somehow becoming the Endbringer. Telethia were created to protect the Bionis. But with Zanza defeated, Telethia don't see Homs (or, in this case, humans) as impure life anymore. The Endbringer is still sticking to its primordial instincts, except this time it's protecting Mira.

People also don't seem to understand that it's not like there's only one version of each myth as though they were written down for a lore bible. There's like, 8 different creation myths alone.

I have no idea how someone can sit there and think “you know what, I think the rape story is canon!” 1st why would you want that to be canon? And 2nd it was scrapped, so it was scrapped for a reason.

Yeah. The grossest sentiment I’ve seen around all these leaks is that the employees “deserved it for being so lazy.” It’s disgusting. The “Game Freak is lazy” narrative has always irked me, because if you actually play the games, it’s clear someone was TRYING. It was never an issue of laziness, they were just never given enough time. But now that laziness narrative has snowballed into actual malice, and it’s concerning

nah, they are canon and honestly no one should care, its mythology, 90% of the stories are just reskinned japanese/greek myths but with pokemon instead of (insert mythology monster here) so the whole "outrage" is frankly ridiculous

Unown King still hella loses to Snorlax. Lvl 100 + Leftovers means it plays by the rules of every other Pokemon, and that it's not just hacked to be invincible. The fact that the author was able to figure out it had Leftovers meant that either the King used a move that wasn't a consistant source of damage or it's slower than Staryu and/or Sandshrew. We also saw it use the move Bite, a weak special attacking option. With all this in mind, chances are Snorlax can set up some Curses and blow past the beast with Return and Earthquake (highly doubt Unown King is Steel/Flying). If Lax can't do the job on its own, something bulky that can click Toxic like Skarmory or Blissey would also work assuming the guy isn't Poison or Steel. In short, L Unown King, W GSC compwtitive
