I don't know whether I am relieved or not that he does not have to suffer the pain of hearing Trump further stain the office and our nation. I'm with you. These aren't the values I stand for. I believe in law and order and I believe in building a country with all of us given a chance to fight for the life we want. These people are not preaching what I believe. I don't agree with how a lot democrats go about issues. But voting for the current republican party is straight up not right. What happened to us being the party of decorum and civility. I swear watching debates looks exactly like teenage girls fighting over latest trend. This isn't right.
That pinched look in your face, and those silences you needed to take in the beginning, were all of us in that moment. God that was an awful time, I couldn't imagine it getting worse, and then Jan 6th happened. It should be made a national day of remembrance. I have people I know that voted for him. Friends and family too. I have no choice but to look at them differently after this.
