Not seen any of your videos for a while, I liked the crisp straightforward delivery, also the first sample shot was a stunner, demonstrating the lens and your abilities. I do still reference your tutorials on colour grading, using photoshops selective colour adjustments (a particularly useful video). Good advice on the use of this kind of lens for those of us not on Canon.
Yo wtf. Am I the only one that got an ad for the sigma 24-70mm when watching this video? 😂 he just stopped talking at 7:33 and the ad started running and I thought it was part of the video 😂
Very nice video, I am using r6 and looking to sell my 24-105 rf f4 usm l lens and buy ef 24-70 f2.8 just because of extra stop of light and I fell it might be sharper. Any advise will be helpful thanks
I find it odd that there is no mention of the difference in sharpness between a) the f/2.8 Mk II vs the f/4, and then b) vs the Sigma. The choice isn't only about f/2.8 vs f/4 or Yes / No to IS. For me it's about the sharpness, and sadly the other two don't match the f/2.8. Why do you think Canon can *still* sell it for so much?
Not really impressed with the sharpness and image quality of those pictures. Not for that price anyway. And I've never understood why such a great lens manufacturer don't make that one with IS. I have a basic 18-135 mm, which isn't great at all, and even that comes with IS.
I have a Canon 90D it's APS-C I think 1.6,,, would the Canon 24-70mm F2.8 II be a good lens choice for various applications? Let me know,,, Appreciate your video!

The image quality is the main reason I'm considering this lens over the Sigma.
Great video I really want this lens but I’m not sure if I should go EF or RF I’m a prime shooters so this will be my first zoom.
Is this lens good for wedding photography. I just bought this lens to shoot weddings and family photography.
I would argue that it’s all you need… maybe a 135 prime for a cheap lens with reach. Or a 70-200 1. You can find them used for roughly the same price.

Good lens with 90d. You can get a full frame effect with a Metabones Speedbooster. Research it
@@wsh81 with the money you spend on the metabones you can ad some money and get a FF
at 11:34 you stated that there are lens like this for only half the price, What lens would you recommend?
i have it its the best
which is better than sigma??
Is there any difference between the Mark 1 and the Mark II?
Mark II is sharper but has more plastic.
Does this work on the 250d?
yes all ef cameras dslr
This is the everyday workhorse lens for a photojournalist. Not really so hot for a hobbyist like this.
Awesome 👌
