I own some zandrite myself! My grandfather got the pair years ago and they change from soft green to cranberry red. Super cool pieces and since I can’t seem to find any more that have that color change they’re certainly quite special pieces.

I've been nerding-out on the optics of light play ever since I heard the expression 'table effect' when comparing diamonds to diamond simulants as a teenager. The Moldavite specimen is awesome. I'm visualizing an 'S' shaped finished gem with two separate step cut coned pavillions each with step cutting along the crown and pavillion. Pie in the sky?!? 🤔

I am in love with this first cut. I wished that we still cut stones this way. The high dome add so much character and the removed tip adds another window of reflectivity all around. I am in love with this cut

The editing of this video sucks. It's not in sync with the stuff he said most of the time. He said something, but the visuals dont show it, or too far to be able to appreciate what he said.
Eg, whats the point of showing 2 hands, when he was talking about the effect of modifying emerald cuts? Who cares about their hands?
You guys are wasting a quality guest.

He should carve a cameo, or face. The faceted stones just don't seem to pop
