I got the Tatula in a ML with an exceler 2500 that I could just toss in the truck and just go fishing in random rivers and not worry if it broke or not. . That combo does not feel like it does for the price point it cost. Perfect Ned rig/ small bait rod.
Definitely can’t go wrong with the xt I don’t have it in spinning but in casting great line even the old xt are great but I would even throw in the daiwa tatula the 7’1 drop shot rod boy what a great rod I Throw obvs dropshots,Ned’s,neko,small swimbaits on it and its a little higher ish in price at $150ish but pair a daiwa lower priced reels or shimano Sedona and your in great shape
im deciding whether to get one of your recommendations or a TFO Professional PS Medium Power with a Daiwa 23 Fuego LT 2500D-XH .... i live in cali and want to start fishing and i can get that combo for about 210$ What would you recommend for a beginner?
best reel and rod combo for bass fishing in a large lake? Preferably length of 6’8-7’2 ft and throwing mid to top water bait? And preferably bait caster?
