This is just step 1 of framing in the shop. There will be more to come but this is all we will be doing in the shop for now until we make more progress on the house portion of the build.
eventually we plan to make this a hang out spot with a couch, bed, kitchenette.. basically a large hotel room. I have about a 42” opening right now which should work until this is no longer storage and then I’ll put a typical exterior door in when we’re done. I don’t know, maybe I’ll change my mind and put a double door in. Thanks for the suggestion.
@@BuiltOnTheRock Oh ok, I thought it was for storage and maybe a bathroom. If people are going to be sitting/living in there, a window into the garage would be nice. I once stayed in a completely windowless hotel room, and it started to drive me a little crazy!

Looks good. If it isn’t too late, would it be better to have a double door? Might help get bigger things in there.
